A long time ago an MUA'er suggested DML Forte and I use this whenever I need something really moisturizing and calming.
It has no fragrance and I now prefer this to my beloved L'Occitane hand cream. |

I follow the holistic skin routine as practiced with Dr Hauschka and Primavera lines so I don't use a night cream. If I do apply something at night, it would be a facial oil like Rosehip or my own personal blend. |

I second the vote. I've been using these products for about a month now and really love this moisturizer. I've always had dehydrated skin and this one plumps it like none other. It also absorbs really well and doesn't leave me feeling greasy or over moisturized. Since it's first ingredient is Aloe, it's also great for healing! |

Dont say it TAMgirl! *covers ears* I have been hearing SOOO many good things about IE here, I simply cannot afford to buy anything else right now! I guess Im going to have to start really looking into IE, even though Im really happy with everything Im using at the moment.
Maybe I can find a way to fit it in somewhere! |

Hi, I like Emu oil- not a cream but great none the less. For a cream- simple products like Aquaphor or CeraVe work well. |

vonstella--i also love their moisturizer like bosoxy and tamgirl! the one thing that has me hesitant to repurchase are that cones are pretty high on their ingredient list. i think this is what is giving the plumping effect tamgirl is talking about. since using PSF's moisturizer and chrysalyx, both of which are cone free, i don't get as much of a plumping effect, and feel like my skin is thinner in a way. i am still on the wall about cones, don't know really know if they are bad or good. amy from naturderm has said that cones stay on the skin and inhibit natural exfoliation but i have also heard that cones protect the skin, err, so confused any thoughts?
moosette--i agree, the IE are way kind! |

For those of you using Rosehip Oil, can that be used on your eyelids? Or do you just apply it underneath and on the side of the eyes? |

I use emu and blend it with CeraVe moisturizing creme. I like it because its rich in HA, as all three ceramides and other moisturizing/holding ingredients, such as glycerine, dimethicone and cholesterol.I have only found it at CVS stores so far. Its very light, too light in terms of oils, which works for me, since I can use it together with emu. I dont like just HA and emu as many do. |

Pure camellia oil or jojoba oil--either of these are really lovely treatments for night. |

When I was using it, I used it under and at the sides of my eyes. I don't think there would be a problem using it above the eyes so long as you did not get it in your eyes, although I am sure it wouldn't hurt. I already have slightly oily lids so didn't need to use it there. |

I like Shea Butter Unscented Face and Body Lotion fromwww.bestbathstore.com. Simple, pure ingredients, non pore-clogging, and very elegant.
Here are the ingredients: Lavender Hydrosol, Organic Aloe Vera, Jojoba, Grapeseed, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Beeswax, Irish Moss, Xanthum Gum, Calendula Extract & Optiphen |

contrary to what alot of ppl think, I think that using your day cream on your face at night is perfectly acceptable. Esp. if there is no SPF. Alternately, I like Decleor's balms at night as well. Love the Essential Balm, especially when I am really stressed out. |

I second the emu oil, even though it's not cream. It is truly a HG product for me now. It keeps my skin from being flakey, and from what I understand, also works fine with oily skin. |

I just received a jar of PCA 20 and find it very hydrating. Here is some info about it:

I've been using Babor's Calming Sensitive Nightcream. It really feels good, especially during the winter months. Sometimes it's a little heavy for summer. |

It depends on what you mean by "simple". Do you mean the ingredient list is simple, or the final routine is simple? For a simple ingredient list, you'll probably want to look at more natural brands. I can't say I'm super familiar with these because they tend to use a lot of essential oils and my skin is too sensitive for that.
For a simple routine though, I would check out GRAES and their moisturizer "Night C.A.P.". It does not have retinol or AHAs/BHAs like you mentioned, but it does have niacinamide and a lot of other "actives" that do not come with any negative side effects from overuse. I just tried it recently and it's been great. I feel like I can declutter all of my serums! |
