Its not a mystery at all. Since ascorbic acid oxidizes in the presence of heat, air and light, placing the airless pump bottle in the dark recesses of a refrig retarded the oxidation. That would happen with any product prone to oxidation.
I think SkinCeuticals packages theirs in those amber glass vials that arent airless right? |
