I love Belotero. It can be injected superficially and has no tindall effect. It's very soft and malleable, great for around the eyes.
I like Juvederm 3 for lips and Juvederm 4 for deep cheek injections.
The only other fillers I've tried are from China, but they're not nearly as nice as the two brands I've mentioned in my opinion.
Oh I've used Radiesse in my hands but I found that for the price it just doesn't last anywhere near long enough. About 6 months to a year for me. |

So very true that the skill of the injector is the primary factor!
Some of us DIY filler, so ease of injection can also be a consideration.
For my $, though, I would use a trusted Chinese HA filler (as I have for a few years) simply because of cost - $60/2ml vs $300+/1ml. I simply cannot afford to use brand and especially cannot afford to use brand and also pay for the injection service.
I am very happy with my results thus far, but this is not for anyone who is not interested in committing a lot of time towards study of product, anatomy and sterile procedure.
I was not enthused about HA filler until I tried it, instead paying for very costly fat transfers which I though "healthier" and more compatible with my own tissue. Once a person sees how effective, simple and immediate HA filler is there is no going back. Also, there is evidence that it stimulates collagen genesis.
Agree with Mishey that Radiesse not long lasting enough to justify its use for hand augmentation (Radiesse is NOT and HA filler). Mine lasted even less time, though it did look good for a few months. Now looking for a reasonably priced HA filler for that area.
