Def. CDLM. total waste of money and time for me. I was really hoping that it would get rid of my eye circles. Nope |

Valmont Renewing Pack Mask. Its great but not worth the price. I found other cheaper masks that have similar effects.
SK-II products other than the facial treatment essence and Facial treatment mask. |

I was also a fool for CDLM. Maybe good for burns but too heavy for every night. |

Dermalogica Daily Resurfacer. Hated it. There are definitely others, but this one stands out because I tried it recently. |

I don't find it pore-clogging (and I do have very acne prone skin), but I don't find it very healing either.
I do continue to use it as a moisturizer (mixed with HA) simply because it doesn't break me out. |

Squalane--this is a sure fire way to create cystic pimples for me. I can't figure out why it's a staple emollient of the Ice Elements line. |
Darn it I just ordered this stuff!!! |

Okay now time for my list
Bare Escentuals mineral foundation- hate it, makes me have a wierd shine and enhances my pores. But I do loooove their eye glimmers.
Dermawand- Where is the glow that everyone is talking about? I never got it. It is good for combating cyctic acne, if you feel a bump coming on, blast it a couple of times a day with the dermawand and it wont progress. But do not use it on acne that is fully grown up- it doesn't do anything, and sometimes I think it allows it to stay longer????
Clinque turn around cream, lotion and concentrate- didn't turn anything around for me.
Origins Charcol mask- way tooo drying, might be good for really oily people, but I am combo, and sometimes pretty oily and this stuff sucked all the oil out of me and left me dry for weeks.
HA pills- nothing happened and I was also in fear of my nose growing like another member's did when she was on them
Yonka Emulsion Pure- I put this stuff as a compress on my beasts, felt the tingling and waited 15 mins to be surprised by the beasts still glaring angrily back at me. I am fairly new to Yonka so i will keep using this stuff, especially since it cost me $56
Yonka Juvenil- didn't purge, didnt heal. I am mixing it with Avene Cleanance K now and leaving a small film over my face at night- only been doing this for 2 days, but I think it has dried up some pimples- but I think that is more of the Avene working.
Queen Helene mint mask- used it as a spot treatment for acne- made no difference what so ever- at least it was only $3.00
Aspirin mask- tried this a few times and with a few different types of recipes- no difference.
I think my skin is really resiliant to anti acne products and nothing works except the really harsh stuff (5% BP, salycilic acid, and sulpher) But this stuff is sooo drying! |

Definitely Creme de la Mer, and ISC products. I purchased the HydraCool and Active Serum. I wasn't impressed with either, and didn't see any change from the products. I have been using the PSF Cranberry Eye Gel...am not seeing anything to spectacular with it, either. |

Epidermx, camellia oil, Bare Minerals or ANY powder mineral makeup for me. I can't get it to cover without looking cakey and going into fine lines |

I'd hang in with msaries. I dumped it twice thinking the same, but eventually realised my eyes really missed it. It takes some time to work - nothing instant at all for me. |

Going to try 3000+ of biotin which on another thread is supposed to help big time with shiny hair. |
This is a little off-topic I show horses and use biotin for their coats - its really effective (makes their coats very shiny) - you may have to wait awhile before you see a difference in your hair. From memory eggs are also a good source of biotin. |

gee i eat a log of eggs too! but no shiny coat for me. Do you apply it topically to the horses or orally? Guess I need a supplment to my egg eating... |

Bare Escentuals MMU-the brushes suck! And i see nothing on my face. Mineral Veil is ok.
Maybelling Great Lash-Never understood this one, and i wish magazines would shut up about it!
Clinique 3 step system-I had a friend who used to work at this counter, and the other girls in the department store counters used to make fun of clinique by saying: "When Russia runs out of vodka, just send them Clarifying toner 3". Ick. Soo drying, like dousing your skin in alcohol. Can't stand the soap either, nor the Dramatically different moisturizer. Just don't get it, and hate the smell.
Creme de la mer-Many fellow flight attendants get sucked into buying this from the duty free shops, and i've seen many complain later of having wasted $$. I personally think it's a croc, and I've read all about it. Even Paula Begoun thinks it's all hype.
Cellcosmet eye cream--Thin slippery consistency. Feels like water on my skin. I need more from an eye cream!
** For those of you disappointed in DrHCC, try leaving it on for 5 minutes as you get ready in the morning. I really like the effect it gives my skin. It's true it is $$, so I've been making my own, and I really love it.
**Also surprised to hear the disappointment in Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque. The main ingredient is Sulphur, same as Proactiv and many other acne treatments. I guess follow up and use it more often. It's a nice cheap alternative to other acne systems though. |
