| I agree completely about Kandis. Wonderful, caring to work with - always has an idea for you if you need a helping hand. This system has brought about amazing difference for me also. Two and a half months and I see results. It's the one product I can confirm that it works. |

well - i'm on my 6th day of the system .. its been up and down for me ... the 2nd and 3rd day and yesterday my lips were awful - so dry and peeling. But today they are much better. I went to a wedding on the 2nd day and i wish i hadnt have started the system when i did as i looked quite yucky but oh well! i am already half way down the NG tube!! so i think its gonna be an expensive excerise for me, however i do believe it will work.
I am waiting to recieve my 2nd package of 2 more ngs and some lip colours.
i really hope the awful dryness goes away. and yes - i am applying the product - actually more than 2 times an hour! one day it was every 10 min!! |

I still have dryness almost everyday and I too apply lots and lost... I'm willing to hang in there with the semi peeling and dry feeling to get the end result. The improvement is very noticeable and one day I won't have the dry -peelies!
Stick with it. |

Hi MJ,
I've had days too where I was applying more often in the very beginning. However, I didn't go through the whole tube of NG until a full month on the system. Are you perhaps applying too much product? As you can tell, the product comes out of the tube very quickly due to the consistency of it. I have tried to be more conscious of that and hold the tube more upright when applying the NG. Take heart because, with all the discounts Kandis offers, vis-a-vie the point system, etc. you will either be receiving free products or discounts off future orders. I haven't really seen any other companies offering that on the internet or elsewhere. I've received the occasional 10% off for first-time purchases, but not continual discounts like she offers her clients. Also, take note of the specials section on the site. She often times offers two for the price of one on the LE and ULLE or a free Colored Night Glaze or another free product with the purchase of other products. Hang in there MJ. The reason to need to reapply means your lips were in a very dehydrated state prior to starting this program. I thought my lips were fine prior to starting this system, except for the lines above my lips (which is why I started to begin with). I didn't think they were dry at all, but now I understand! Those little crinkly areas are dryness and dehydration that needs to be reversed. That can only achieved by using the products as needed. Also, I don't think you'll be spending as much as you think. If you wanted to address issues such as lines on the surface of your lips or above them, or plumping up your lips, you'd be spending $500 a pop for Restylane, Collagen, Botox or whatever. It would be an instant fix, albeit temporary! But, after 3-4 months time, you'd be back to square one and $500 in the hole. Also, once you are done with the lip rejuvenation process, you won't need to apply as often to maintain your results. I am so, so pleased with my results! The other day while driving, my young 10-year old son commented to me that my lips looked good....that they are more full and the lines above them are barely noticeable. He's a very astute young boy! He said to me...."Is that Kandis stuff that's doing that Mom?" So funny....you know kids today ~ they are so internet savvy they even know what sites you're visiting! Best wishes, Aprile |

hi aprile - thanks for the support. I know that the $$ isnt that much, its more that ive always been happy with my lips - i dont really have any lines and they are quite plump, but i want more moisturised, pink lips. So thats why i'm doing this system.
I dont think i'm overusing - there is more LGold left - its mainly the glaze that i'm running out of. I guess i just expected that within 2 weeks they would have improved. They are still super dry. I think it need to exfoliate more as when they are really dry and peely the glaze just seems to sit on the dry bits and not even absorb! |

When I spoke with Kandis about my overly flaking, peely, crusty (yuck) lips, she recommended I cut back on exfoliating vs. more. I am now at once every 10 days. Also I do the blowdrying step two times a day.
LIps are coming along - looking good... Love Kandis and the system is working for me |

Kandis has recommended that i dont use the NC during the day - just the LG and the NG ... i only exfoliate once every 7 days so i dont think i'm overdoing that (i used to exfoliate every day!). And am doing the blowdrying AM/PM too.
I guess i just need to be patient ... |

It just takes a long time. That's it. And you have to resign yourself to the fact. The longer I'm doing this the more I can see that it's working - peely, crusties and all! |

Hi MJ,
Just checking in with you again.... I too am going through a major peeling session too, and it's also driving me crazy. Funny thing is, I never really peeled all that much, so I had no clue what everyone else was talking about. But, Kandis said everyone was different, so I figured maybe I'd never peel. So after using the system for 8 mos., I'm peeling like mad. Go figure!!! Anyway, I am using a very warm wash cloth instead to remove the peelies instead of the exfoliate. If you use too much of it, it can dry you out. I believe she changed the instructions, and now only recommends using it every 10 days or so. I am also using more NC and LG during day with the colored NG on top to help heal them. I use the heat twice a day with all three products. I need healing because I've been bad and I have picked at them!! If you are using this system to regain your natural lip color, you won't be disappointed! In fact, that is often times the first thing to return in the rejuvenation process. But first, you have to peel away the layers that are hiding your natural coloration. Stick with it -- it works! I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Take care, Aprile |

Aprile - thank you again, your support really really helps.
I thought it would be a week or so of peeling but it sounds like months?! oh that makes me want to cry.
I am not going to do this, BUT it would be so easy to just go back to applying my beloved (ex) papaw ointment (it has petrolium in it ... bad, i know)as it really feels like it sooths and my lips are so shiny and clean and soft.
I wish i knew why i start the day ok (like until about 10am) and then my lips get super dry and peel, then i get home and they kinda feel better after a few hours (when i go to bed) and then the cycle starts again ... why? I am being diligent with the application ... I would rather have the ultra-dry peelies at home not work~ |

Hi, Guys, I am 9 days into Lips2Kiss. I've had very little dryness so far. Mjlover, when I wake up my lips are moist and feel great. But, when I begin my routine, my lips start feeling dry all day. Weird, huh? |

Hi Sister Sweets,
YES can you believe it? I guess that just goes to show you -- everyone is completely different. Now I am of the over 40 crowd, so I don't know if that's why? I realize I must be patient and it will take me a bit longer than others. But I figure after constantly wearing either lipstick, gloss, balm, etc. on my lips for well over 20 years.....a year's worth of my time isn't all that bad!! Others who are younger and didn't have all that much damage to reverse will be luckier I'm sure.... I will be very happy and fortunate when I am done peeling and am totally rejuvenated. I feel that will happen in a year's time. I'm almost there! Be patient everyone and remember .... all good things in time. Aprile |

Hi Mars,
Kandis explained to me that everyones lips repair overnight, making new cells if you will. That is why when we first awaken, they are nice and plump and moist. By the way, this is probably the way our lips will look (or even better) when they are fully rejuvenated! During the day, we are exposed to different conditions, like outside cold air or the heat in our homes and offices, plus the foods we eat and the beverages we drink. At night, we are at peace. I try to stay positive and not concentrate on the flaws of my lips and skin because I know that I will reach the "promised land" one day soon! Stay positive everyone ~ this system does work. Take care, Aprile |

Hi guys,
I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I'd drop by and see how everyone is doing.
Quick comment for all new L2K users experiencing peeling. When I started (January 2007) i peeled horrifically for good 6 weeks. I was tempted to quit the whole thing, but Kandis walked me through it and it eventually stopped. I think this is more of an extreme than a norm, but I know I am not the only one that had such a bad experience in the beginning. I think it all depends on the condition of your lip and past practices. I never took any care of my lips before, so there was probably a lot of stuff that needed to go before my lips could star getting better.
I am still using the system and am about to place another big order. Did you guys see Kandis' special on LG??? I am definitely getting that, one lip colour system (with coloured glaze), and perhaps one or two more of coloured NGs. I haven't ordered in a while (I built up a healthy reserve at the beginning) and I don't find L2K system to be that expensive at all.
Good luck everyone!!
Hugs, R. |

| I cannot imagine using Retin A on my lips. And most people at some time or another on this board have tried HA supplements. It seems to work for some and not for others. I didn't see a measureable difference at all. From my pov, L2K is more about actually healing the lips than a quick fix. L2K was my first purchase when I first came to EDS and probably the one that has most lived up to it's promise. I was at a family party tonight and saw two women there who had obviously had lip injections. ICK. I am so glad I made another choice. It's taken longer than a quick fix but looks so much prettier and natural and let's face it, it's a lot cheaper in the long run. |

Rubby, At 11 months how do your lips look? And you have NO more peeling? HOw often do you use the system? (times per day???? and do you alternate all three: NC,LG,NG?)
Thanks,
I"m loving the system - almost three months for me and every week I see an improvement. Look fuller but also Feel Fuller!
I am just wondering once you reach the "Lip Mecca" what is the maintenance? |

Hi everybody
Well, this thread is looking to get as long as the orginal Lips2Kiss one - which is still going strong!
Firstly, I have to say that the poll part of this thread probably isnt worth bothering with... quite a number of people have found themselves unable to vote on it, due to a glitch in the system, and I know they were positive votes.. So I'm ignoring the poll feature and just reading the feedback.
And here I am with my own early feedback!
I started on L2K 23rd October. And I have to say I am hooked.
I cant imagine, now going back to my old lippie ways, my lips just feel SOOOOO much better. And I thought they were relatively ok before.. I've been a lipstick addict for 32 years, but never used chapstick. For years I've used Clarins firming lip cream at night, which was great as far as it went, then I started losing lip volume so then I used LipFusionX at night, which made my lips fuller again, and more hydrated, but I noticed I started to get a bit of drawstring syndrome going on, so I stopped with that.
At my age, I was beginning to lose lip volume and colour, and I felt I needed a radical intervention to Save My Lips before they went further downhill!
Along came this all new, mind boggling system, which seemed so very odd that at first I couldnt get my head round it.
Well, now I understand why women love it so much.
I have been following instructions to a 'T"... and enjoying it a lot because
a. IT FEELS GREAT.
b. MY LIPS ARE SOFT, FULLER AND REGAINING COLOUR ALREADY!
I couldnt be more pleased.
I go to bed at night with lots of product on my lips, and wake up with nice full soft lips, and that stays all day. For a little colour I have a coloured night glaze, in a beautiful shade - I think it's called raspberry chocolate milkshake or something like that.
I reapply as directed all day. I enjoy doing it, because the products feels so lovely. My lips are relieved!
I hairdry them at night and once during the day too. Less hassle than it sounds, and quite nice here in autumnal London, to have some warm air coming at me!
So far I have exfoliated twice. In Kandis' notes she says if you are prone to cold sores, only exfoliate every ten days, so I'm sticking to that. I've had some peeling three times, and not noticed it unduly as it's been going on under the product.
I'm amazed to find myself not relying on lipstick so much as part of my make up. I got out my 100 hours lash tint yesterday and started looking at video's on youtube of how to do cat's eye make up! My interest in eye make up is revived, and I'm glad to be propelled out of a make up rut.
Having said that, I'm very excited to anticipate using Kandis lip colours, when the time comes for that.
All in all, I couldnt be happier I jumped in and tried this system.
Thanks go to Hollywood for sharing it with us!
PS. Kandis says when you have any lip stuff left on your fingertips, dont waste it, rub it into your cuticles.. well! I'm pleased to report that as a side benefit.. I now have nice shiny happy nails! |

Hi
I will be posting another thread tonight on my routine. It's really simple.
This thread is about Lips2K so I don't want to intrude here.I just figured i let women know there's more then one way to skin a cat being I learned so much from this site and wanted to contribute.... but should have made a seperate thread. My mistake
If this product works for ya stick with it by all means..Plus I hear the customer service is great !
PS: Let's not judge people regarding lip augmention ( Or any surgery for that matter )as I'm sure some women here have had PS and it's not fair to them to say " ICK ". If it makes them happy that's all that matter's.
Takecare and be well

I believe my post was deleted from here and I'm not sure why, but I thought my question warranted some reasonable answers if people would kindly contribute!
My question was what down sides should I be expecting if I start this system? And for the people who did not give this a positive review, why was that?
Lastly, if anyone is using the coloured night glaze, could you please post pics?! It would help in choosing the right colours! Thanks! |
