Cesce,
Is there any information about using it under the eyes? Also how warm does the machine get?

Well, my Stop was delivered. It arrived in a very short time, and was delivered by UPS instead of USPS as it was stated in a confirmation email. I was happy about UPS delivery since it was the reason for Stop to arrive fast, USPS for sure would take ages....

I have not used the device yet, just went shopping for an adaptor. Here is the first impression. The device is for sure for at home use. Device treatment area is small. The device has two parts to it: 1) body + 2) cap. Once the cap is removed there are small probes at the thinnest part of the device (where body connects to cap).
Image

Professional devices have huge attachments comparable to size of irons. So while Stop might be OK for face and other areas as such, it would be challenging to use it on larger areas such as legs. It is fine with me on a condition that it woks of cause. Smile

Hi everyone!

I'm joining in to tell you I have been using the STOP for a couple of weeks now, have done 5 treatments so far. I am very impressed with the results. I noticed after just one treatment that I looked 'better' ie fresher, smoother of face and well rested. The results have just been getting better.. I am definitely impressed by this device so far.
I'm particularly impressed with how it has smoothed out my eye area, both the under eye area and beneath the brow bone.
It has freshened up my entire face, and my neck, which was starting to look a bit crepey.
I have also used it two or three times on my hands. It isnt the most comfortable thing in the world to use it on the hands, as the backs of the hands are full of bones and no flesh pads really.. .. so it is a bit of an irritating 'bumpy' experience, but it's worth it , to me. My hands look significantly smoother from using it.
The device also gives you quite a bumpy ride across the boney forehead region... but it has smoothed out my 11's rather well, so I wont be complaining..
I use it on the 'high' setting, as I was getting nowhere fast on the lower settings.. I'd love to use it on the body but it really is pretty small .. the blurb specifically states it isnt suitable for use on breasts.. not sure why, exactly.
I find it quite a relaxing sensation, a bit like a facial massage. Quite pleasurable. But you do need to have a mirror in front of you when you do it, to keep an eye on the heat indicator light. When it switches from green to amber, you need to move onto another area of skin. It gets pretty hot. Not uncomfortably so, but unmistakably hot.
The gel is not unpleasant to use, it's easy, spreads smoothly, doesnt dry out quickly. I was a bit taken aback by how sticky and gooey it was at first but I am completely used to it now and actually like it. It helps to heat the skin.Quite enjoyable in this winter weather. ( Especially as my infra red sauna from China just went up in flames.. yikes!) And the moisturiser that they provide for aftercare is easy to use, non greasy, easily absorbed by my skin, somewhat mattifying initially, inoffensive.. I'm not sure how crucial that specific moisturiser is to the process, though. It does a nice enough job.
The whole package is presented nicely and is pretty easy to use. The nice thing is, that there is no 'downtime' as there can be with the dermaroller. My face is slightly pink after using it, but it fades very quickly, and could in any case be very easily disguised with make up if need be.I'm wondering about how the level of collagen stimulation compares to dermarolling.
My intention is to continue with the suggested regime of using it 2/3 times a week, for 6/8 weeks, and keep you posted, and also to give you a follow up of just how long the benefits seem to stick around. That will be the really interesting part.. Wink

I had first Stop treatment. As other board members I found that the treatment should be done on high setting, and the orange indicator for treatment tracking is inconveniently located out of sight, thus requiring a mirror to see the indicator. Although orange indicator was useless for me since it seems to malfunction. It stayed lit orange pretty much all the time even when the device did not touch the skin, and when I turned off power device button. The only way I was able to disable orange indicator when I cut the electricity completely in the power supply. Confused

I could feel the heat very well, and there is a safety mechanism in place to prevent skin from overheating. The device gets turned-off and on automatically when skin reaches temperature above level.

The device itself is very small, I wish they would make it larger. On a positive side it is possible to use it on smaller areas such as bridge of a nose, and between eye creases and eye brows (lids not recommended according to the manual).

Feeling the heat is positive, and encouraging to yield results. The heat sensation was lower then during professional treatment, although it is not a true comparison since I treated thighs in the salon, and face at home. My primary concern is a couple of fine lines on my forehead. They are still there... hopefully with repeated treatments they will diminish... In the manual it is written that some time after treatment I should feel a sensation as if after sun burn. I did not get sun burn feeling yet....

The manual states about the eye area:
Do not use STOP on eye lids, over closed eyes, or on the ears.
Which means that it could be used between eye crease and eyebrow. Just confirming statement in my post above.

Mpstat, my forehead lines are the main thing I have not been able to remove with my dermaroller, so I am looking forward to seeing if you have any success with your lines.

Sure I will report Smile, and since it is not a professional strength device I expect it to take at least several weeks to see improvement.Hopefully with some visible improvements in several weeks. The manual states:
In a clinical study, scientific measurements showed a reduction of 30% in fine lines and 16% reduction in wrinkles within three and a half weeks. Overall skin texture was greatly improved. Results vary between people, epending on individual skin characteristics.

Mpstat,catski,Cesce,

I did my first treatment tonight and I don't think my unit is working properly. I had an adapter so after reading the instructions and watching the video I got started. After circling 5 min. on one side of my forehead the light was still green. I decided to move to another area and it never turned any color except green. I did the treatment based on time with each section and finished the second part as the directions indicated as far as time. My total treatment was 15-20 min. The unit quickly warmed up and stayed at almost a warm to hot temperature, very comfortable and I kept the unit moving in slow circles. I also noticed that my instructions pamphlet and even the dvd looked used. I plan to contact the company by email and hope that they don't make me send this back before they send out a new one. I feel like I could continue to do treatments with this one until a new one arrives. Wouldn't you know it is an international order that has to be sent back. I you feel I am not doing something correctly to cause the light not to change colors let me know.
Toby

I would say that you must have earned at least 34 of those devices by now...and CONGRATS on your anniversary!

But I am sorry to hear that your unit may have an issue...I guess we'll see how their customer service.

Hi Toby. When I use the Stop on my hands, it doesnt want to turn to the amber light.. it just stays green, green, green... Confused Frustrating!

So what I did, was I tested it by moving it slowly and repeatedly on one very small part of my skin... so that I knew that part of skin simply had to be heating up.. and lo and behold, the light did turn amber... so that way, I found out that it was actually working.

I have accepted now that it doesnt want to turn amber on my hands, but they improve anyway. I figure, so long as I'm feeling the heat, it's working.

But I wouldnt be happy if it didnt turn amber on my face, especially if I was circling on one small spot for a long time.

So maybe try this test, before sending it back?
Good luck, and let us know.

I did my 6th treatment last night.. and I tell you.. I am seeing a face I havent seen for a good few years Smile .. I really think this product is worth persevering with.

So, four of you have the STOP device and three of you have malfunctioning indicator lights? That's disappointing!

I did have it on the highest setting. I already like this device, I can tell it is going to be helpful, just need to see that amber light to be totally satisfied.

I also feel that my device works, with the exception of the indicator that stayed orange even when being turned off. During the treatment I went by my feeling how warm my skin felt. In the user manual that comes with the device they describe several lights malfunctioning situations. Seems that Toby's situation is described in:

Section 10. Troubleshooting
Item 9. If the Orange lights do not turn ON, even when Green light is turning ON and OFF, contact a service center.

Section 12 Customer Support
For Service, please refer to the warranty card to find the nearest service center or go to our web sitewww.stop-age.com. When reporting to a service center, please have ready the device serial number as appears on the device side panel....

Pollogen Ltd.
Tel: +972 3 510 4110
Email: info@stop-age.com

I looked at stop-age.com and did not see a list of service centers... hmm Maybe we need to contact either Win-Health.com or Stop-Age.com and ask for the course of actions... In my earlier post where I provided an email from Stop-Age they stated that they are not selling Stop to US. I wonder how they may handle service situation for US. I do not want them to make Win Health to reimburse the money, and take my device back without the replacement...

I am going to try the device again today and see if my indicator still behaves not properly.

Toby - you wrote that it appears that your device was not new. Did your device come with a transparent plastic strip around the base? To use a device you need to remove the strip, and it supposed to indicate that the device is new when the strip is present, and that the device was opened when the strip is missing.

There was a strip but it could easily be removed and it would still adhere. The tape was broken on the box on both side but the tape on the gel and moisturizer was on.

I thought that maybe the seal on the device was missing, but you are right it might be replaced if taken off with care to start with. In my box all the seals seemed to be in place.

I had a second treatment today and paid a closer attention to the orange light. In the beginning it does not want to turn on the orange light for the longest time, but once it turns orange it is for good. It stays orange when I treat not treated before areas, when it does not touch anything at all, etc. I found a work around for this situation. Idea The green power light goes off when protector for skin over heating is being activated. So I can go by my feeling plus by watching power light blinking. When it blinks it is time to move to the next area.

Oops I am instructionally challenged. I didn't even notice the little window indicator light area where the amber light shows up. I was expecting the main green light that indicated the unit is on to turn amber Brick wall No my unit is not defective, my brain is Laughing Rolling Eyes Who cares, my face is rocking!!!I did my hands tonight and all went well. Sorry for the confusion.
