HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!

scalawaggirl-

I have a question, what can I replace Threelac product for?

**What are you taking when it comes to adding extra antioxidants? (multi-vitamin)

I just ordered organo oil and black seeed oil and kefir and Humaworm from curezone.com

I'm going to replace Threelac with Nature's Way Optima probiotic and regarding antioxidants, I take a multi-vitamin (Genuine Health) but get them mainly from:

Oil of Oregano
Green Tea
Black Cumin Seed Oil
Krill Oil

So, no other pills needed. Smile

Thanks !!!

Have you heard of Cloroxygen? This product provides your body with extra oxygen, and boost your adrenals- and the water with lemon and Celtic Sea Salt should provide you with minerals, hydrate you and the lemon aids in absorption of all.

Enteric Coated Peppermint oil

This helps clear up small intestine bacterial overgrowth that can prevent adequate digestion of foods, especially sugars and starches which seems to contribute to excess mucus production and a more comfortable home for candida. Use this 3 times a day for 20 days and the effect will be impressive.[/quote]

This thread is interesting...I am not sure of the oil pulling basis but I started with some olive oil two days ago and will see if I get any results. Thanks too for the black cumin seed oil tip. My gran used to cook with the stuff and I think it was great for health.
How much oil is used btw as a guide for doing the swishy thing?

P.S I hope I don't get PMS type symptoms from swishing as I have it bad enough!

Scott-

you might not need a "Neti Pot" I saw a post on curezone.com called the "Nasal Salt Wash"

1. Add 1/4 tsp. Sea Salt (fine) into 1 cup lukewarm distilled water in Nasal Cup (I put the solution in a regular cup and used a turkey baster and just let the water flow gently out of the turkey baster). Stir until salt fully dissolves. (Note: You may also add 1/4 tsp. of baking soda to buffer the salt - some people experience a slight irritation from the Sea Salt alone.)

2. Lean over sink with head facing down, then turned to right or left.

3. Place Nasal Cup spout (or turkey baster) in nostril that's now on top and gently tilt the cup until water is slowly flowing into nostril. Breathe through mouth. If water isn't flowing through to the other nostril, try tilting your head at different angles to open passageway. The more you relax doing this, the easier it is for the water to flow through.

4. Water will begin flowing out other nostril and into the sink. Continue until half the water has gone, then turn your head the other way and run the rest through the opposite nostril.

5. When Nasal Cup (or turkey baster) is empty, bend forward and let your head hang loosely to help get any remaining water out of the nose. (If you have mucous buildup for having a cold, you can blow your nose into the sink and it flushes the mucous out more)

6. Close one nostril with a finger and turn your head. Switch to the other nostril and do the same.

7. Blow gently through one nostril at a time, closing the other nostril with a finger to dry the nose.

8. Throwing your head back or bending over can also help get any remaining salt water out of the nasal passages.

Hi there - 1 teaspoon is fine for oil pulling and there is no need to worry about PMS symptoms worsening (because if they did I wouldn't be oil pulling either!!! Wink)

Hi Tasha - thanks for sharing your neti pot info! The thing that isn't so appealing about DIY neti pots to me is you need both hands to manipulate the turkey baster and cup as well as some skill at pouring and directly the solution into your nose. Shock I doubt I'd be able to pull this off without drowning myself as I'm simply too new to this remedy right now. I have an idea though - I propose you try it and let us know how difficult (or easy?) it is to perform!

Off subject: Puffy Eyes

EYE DROPS TO ELIMINATE EYE PARASITES

Steep one clove of FRESH GARLIC (no green part of the garlic) IN ROSE WATER or even purified/distilled water about 30 cl.
Add a pinch of ALUM (a white powder and steep for 15 minutes or so. You can dilute it further if too strong. I use liqueur glasses to make my preparations. Everything must be sterilised so carefully pour boiling water over all the utensils you use. It is after all for your eyes.
Once you have steeped the garlic and alum powder, use a clean white cotton cloth (sterilise as well)to filter the potion into another container and remove all minute particles out of your eye drops.
Eventually pour it into a small bottle with a dropper and use it as needed. Don't run away if it stings a little, that is when it is doing it's JOB. After a minute stinging will subside, then wash your eyes out with clean water.
This is not a permanent remedy. The parasites may not want to settle in your eyes again as they will either be dead or will escape your powerful eye drops!
Another recipe for eye drops is to steep fennel seeds in Rose water or Purified/distilled water and then filter all the seeds out through the clean cotton cloth as mentioned previously. Quite effective but I prefer the garlic potion. Using the fennel you must wash your eyes out later in clean water.
You will be clear for a good time maybe 24 hours or more depending on the area you live in,exposure to the elements etc.
I have heard good things of Dr.SCHULZE'S eye drops with Cayenne and Eyebright.

I've been giving it a try and I'm on Day 5 now. I've been doing 1-2 20 minute sessions every day with either sunflower or coconut oil. So far, teeth seem a bit whiter and maybe eyes are a bit brighter, too.

The beauty of this is that it is very easy to do. (I've been interested in detoxification and bought an intestinal cleanse product a couple of months ago but must admit haven't yet worked up the courage to try it Bad Grin)

Thanks for posting about this, Tasha ... I hadn't heard about it until I read your post.

Yes, thanks Tasha for letting us know about this. I'm on day 4, but I'm one of those people who has a gagging problem, so I can only do about 10 minutes. I've only been pulling once a day because other than first thing in the morning, I rarely have an empty stomach. Laughing

Debster, I have the same issue!! Laughing

I'm on day 4, and like you, I've been doing about 10 minutes in the morning. Thankfully, no gagging, so I should probably step it up to 15 or 20 minutes. Though after 10 minutes my mouth is pretty full, so I'm thinking I can just spit that and start over again for another 10? Confused

Mary

I'm only doing 3-5 minutes in the morning. While I know the standard practice is 20 minutes, I read an article somewhere that said that they estimate 3-5 minutes is long enough to pull the majority of the toxins out yet also short enough to keep the toxins in your mouth from reabsorbing. I'm giving this method a go and will post back if I have any major results. Very Happy

Well I went over to curezone and the basis of this does make sense, in a weird sort of way. I can only do once in the morning as I have dinner before bed (was wondering that too - when else is my stomach empty?) I am using hand made olive oil from the folks back in Italy that is really tasty otherwise I would be sick. Even so I am a squib and as I can barely do the 10 min without feeling the gag reflex. Maybe I need to try it while doing something else so I don't think about it.

Teeth definitely whiter even over a few days and eyes too. Downside is that I have got some spots that appeared on my chin and one on my cheek. Also a few really random ones on my neck. I must be stuffed full of toxins huh? The spots are not a major deal but makes me wonder that the process must be detoxifying in a way. Thanks to Scally et al for the info on the oils and the juicing recipies. I will try.

Well, I just stumbled on this thread by chance and now I'm really intrigued. I have had horrendous dark circles all my life and also suffer from allergies, so can't help but wonder if these are related - oil pulling seems like such a simple thing to try I just have to give it a go! I think I might have a few problems dealing with the taste though, so it's good to read that you can start off with just a few minutes and work up. Thanks for some fascinating info!

I've been oil pulling for about a week now, 1-2 times a day. I've looked in the grocery stores and our local health food store, but haven't had any luck finding any oils that say refined or cold-pressed, so I've just been using President's Choice sunflower oil mixed with a couple drops of Oil or Oregano. Not crazy about the OoO taste so I'm going to add less. Thing is though, my teeth appear to be more yellow. I had really white teeth to start with, so could this be because of the type of oil I am using?

They are very noticeable - big dark half-moons under my eyes Sad . They have always been there, although they do look worse now I'm a bit older as I also have puffiness and sagging issues to deal with. Ugh! They are purplish, not the brown pigmented kind, if that makes sense.

Sry to hear that Fifi

Start oil pulling.

You mite have parasites. I advice you do a parasite cleanse-colon cleanse-liver cleanse in order.

Go on a candida diet

Buy Oregano Oil/ Black seed Oil

You dark circles can be based on sinus too!

Buy a neti pot

Drink distilled water/lemon/celtic salt on a daily basis.

Take a multi vitamin with grapeseed extract

There is so much info ......

but im willing to help

Don't have any problems there - I don't think so anyway although I'm sure there's room for improvement! I'm definitely going to start with the oil pulling and then might just try adding in some of these other suggestions too once I've got used to that! I've just had a look in my kitchen cupboard and all I have is evoo - it does say cold-pressed and organic though so should be ok to start with?
