| I have not used this faithfully yet to see results. I am having a hard time getting past the greasy feel of this stuff! I am stopping this on my stomach and am going to do my arms instead. |

| Please keep all of us posted on the results. I would really like to hear more, especially from those who don't exercise twice daily like BH to see if this product would still work well with only exercising 3 times a week, or if the exercise only involves walking. I'm 60+ years old, so I cannot do too heavy duty exercise. Thanks in advance, ladies. |

Hi guys! I did an experiment today and here are my observations.
I used the FBG for the first time today. I mixed it really well and it turned into a smooth, although somewhat runny gel/lotion (I don't know what I would call it). I was able to easily spread a thin layer all over my buttocks. I agree that it is a bit greasy, but to be honest, that didn't bother me that much.
Now the experiment:
I decided to give a saran wrap a try ( pleeeease, don't tell my husband ). I felt really silly wrapping my but in a plastic wrap, but i did . The thing is that I was able to wrap only 2/3 of my but (upper part), while the bottom 1/3 stayed uncovered (or is it "unwrapped" ). What I noticed was really interesting.
Initally, I didn't feel anything - no tingling, no heat, no redness. However, after about 5 minutes, my but started feeling really warm, with the wrapped 2/3 feeling much warmer (almost hot). And when I touched my but (through my exercise clothes), it was very obvious that the wrapped part was significantly warmer than the rest of the skin where I applied the gel. This feeling continued for the entire workout (good 1.5 hours). When I took the wrap off, after the workout, the skin that was covered was still very warm and very red, while the rest of the skin was somewhat warm and not as red.
I think this clearly shows that the wrap helps build up the heat. Hopefully, that means that it increases the effectiveness of the gel.
I'll aim to use the wrap as often as possible. It is a bit of a pain to use the wrap so it doesn't move while you exercise, but tomorrow I'll try to wrap my entire buttocks area and wear my "shape - squeeze" bike shorts. Hopefully, that'll keep things in place.
I'll keep you posted on my progress.
BTW, I exercise 3-4 times a week. |

OK gals, I am fully wrapped and ready to hit the gym. I can feel my buns getting really hot and I think the gel is already working (and I haven't even moved yet).
Today I wrapped my entire but and upper thighs. I applied the gel only to my but, but I had to wrap my thighs to ensure I cover the bottom part of my buttocks. I am wearing the "shape" shorts on top of that (those that squeeze you) and my exercise pants on top of that. I hope everything stays in place today.
I'll let you know how it goes. |

I wrote Neveroverthehill on ebay, and he said that he's not selling the fat burner lotion right now because he and his wife are traveling to England. He will post more products on ebay after their return on May 27 next week.
Just an FYI, I went ahead and bought a whole body pacakge of a procedure called Velashape. I posted about this on the skincare forum. I have stubborn fat areas, and I think the fat burner lotion will be a great complement to the Velashape to help keep off the fat, and maybe I won't even have to go back for followup treatments. The doctor did my buttocks yesterday and the cellulite is 80% gone. My butt feels smooth for the first time in many years. I plan to keep on being physically active to ensure the fat does not return. |

| I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but you may want to wear plastic/rubber gloves while applying. I used it yesterday for the first time, and my hands got a bright red, itchy, swollen, rashy look. Also, I don't want to lose any fat off my hands anyway! |

You might be sensitive to one of the ingredients. I've never had that happen in the time I've been using it. Last I looked my hands and fingers look the same. I always wash my hands after applying though. I'm sure most do due to the greasy qualify of this batch. |

Another update:
The wrapping I did this morning worked really well. My "squeeze" shorts unfortunately rolled up on my thighs (they are quite short - covering only half of my thighs), but the wrap stayed pretty much where it was supposed to be. My skin was again very warm and very red. I swear, my but never sweated this much in my entire life . My exercise pants were soaking wet in spots not covered by the wrap.
I will continue to use wrap and some kind of tight shorts to keep everything in place.
Will keep you posted.
Rubby
P.S. I didn't find that the wrap restricted my movements. It did, however, make funny noises for the first 5 minutes, so you may want to move around your house first, until the funny sounds go away. |

I did measure myself yesterday, before my first application of FBG . I measured my waist, lower back (just above hips), hips, lower buttocks (where I am actually the widest), and both thighs (separately) .
My plan is to take weekly measures and monitor my progress. I will definitely share any updates here. |

Great stuff, Rubby, thankyou. Looking forward to hearing how it goes. I'm away for a wee holiday, so have to postpone my fat burning campaign. Will check in on you when I get back!
(I also dont have a problem with itchy hands after applying it, btw.) |

| Thank you, Rubby. That is an excellent plan you got there. If you have good results, I'd love to get one, too. It should help me maintain my Velashape results so I don't waste $1K. By the way, are you only working on your buttocks right now? I recall BH said you should only do one area at a time? Your exercise routine sounds more like mine. I work out 3 times a week. |

Yes Ruk1, I am only working on my buns (hoping to get them from full-fat to low-fat buns ). Once I'm done with that I'll move onto my thighs. After that, I may focus on hips alone. My lower body is my biggest problem, so I'll focus on that. If and when I'm satisfied with that part, i may move onto my abdominal area and my arms, although I am pretty lean there so it's not a priority.
As form my workout routine, I go to gym 3-4 times a week (on average - 2 spinning classes + 2 classes of weight work). I may change that routine to include more work with weights for a while. |

| Rubby, that's a great routine you got there. I used to work out more, but as I get older, it's a bit harder. I still try to work out at least 30 minutes 3 times a week. Today I was inspired by your saran wrap method and tried wrapping it around my lower abs before I got on the treadmill. I also increased my workout time to one full hour. I really was soaking. I think the saran wrap helps. |

That's great Ruk1! I think that the wrap helps a lot. I must say I never tried the gel without a wrap, but that first day test (1/2 but covered, 1/2 but not) really showed me that plastic wrap enhances the process.
(BTW, I am sitting here, all wrapped up, with buns getting warmer and warmer as we "speak" , ready to hit the gym).
I am currently testing to see how thin of a layer can i apply and still get the same results (I mean, same sensation of heat and redness of my skin). I was looking at the size of the container FBG comes in and the size of my but, and I realized that my but is way to big for that gel to last long . So, now I'm testing to see how much of the gel do I really need to use to get the thing working.
I applied a fairly thin layer today (this thing spreads really well), and I don't think I could go any thinner, i.e. use any less, and I can feel my skin getting nicely warm. I'll see what happens during and after the workout.
Will keep you posted! Good luck with your routine. |

Thank you, Rubby. Same to you. I just thought of something. As the fat loss occurs, are you concerned at all that there would be loose skin, and how do you plan to deal with that issue? I already have enough loose skin on my stomach, so more will make it look worse. I know you probably think that since I'm already over 60, I should not have to worry about loose skin, but I guess I still want to look my best for my age since I feel young at heart.
How long does one jar of the Fat Burner lotion last? I'm glad you're experimenting with a thinner layer to make it last longer. Yesterday I applied Helichrysum oil on my stomach before I wrapped it up. I have it lying around. I bought it for the stretchmarks. It produces some cooling sensation, so I thought it should not hurt to apply that before the wrap and workout. |

Rubby, I apply only enough to cover the area I'm working. Probably best described as a thinner layer of the gel/lotion. Remember, my first jar was the dark chocolate syrupy stuff that wasn't as gel like.
Rukl,
I haven't seen an issue with hanging skin from this but genetically I was lucky in regards to things like stretch marks, ect. |

Maybe because you're also younger, your skin bounces back quickly. I don't know how it works. But hopefully losing fat by exercising will make it easier on the skin than just a crash course diet, which I know is bad for the skin (resulting in loose skin).
BH, how long does one jar last you? How many jars have you purchased so far? Have you learned any trick to make a jar last longer? |

Great suggestion. I don't think our hands have that much fat to lose, and more plump hands look younger. |

Rukl,
I used one jar, in one month, using it twice a day for approximatly three weeks, and once a day for one week. However, in all fairness, I should point out that my daughter spilled some of that jar so it may have lasted five weeks without our 'little accident'. |

Update:
As you know, today I experimented with a bit thinner layer of the gel on my behind. I applied it, again, to my entire buttocks area and wrapped it in the plastic wrap (as usual).
What I noticed was that today the sensation of hot and red skin was not as strong as the first two days !! !!
Now, I'm thinking that there are two possible explanations. Either, I applied too little (which I don't think I did, as i nicely covered the entire area), or, my skin is getting used to the actives in this gel ??!! I certainly hope that this doesn't mean that the gel is not working as strongly as the first two days.
I will send a quick note to John and Sandy to ask for their opinion. In a meantime, I'll try applying a bit thicker layer and see if that makes a difference.
Blues, did you noticed that the more you used the gel the less reaction did your skin exhibit?
As for how long will one container last - I don't think mine will last a month. I only used it 3 times so far so it's hard to tell how fast will I go through it, but at this point it looks like every time I use a fair bit of the product. I should have a better sense in a couple of weeks. |
