Normally I use lowest strength isotretinoin and decided to try something less irritating.
It doesn't seem to be having the same skin-clearing and smoothing effect.
But it has given the initial breakout I expected as I stopped using isotretinoin for a couple of weeks while I was waiting for the micro to come in. And it doesn't burn when i put it on. Is it meant to? I dunno maybe i haven't been using it long enough, though 22 days seems like enough?
Is it genuine? Anyone? I know this thread is a little old.

The micro leaves behind some flaky white stuff when i use it.
I usually apply it after moisturising with clinique dramatically diff.
The micro-stuff is called supatret aqueous gel

hi there, can I just say that your forum name is a little scary and quite offputting-you might get more response if you change it. That being said I don't think you should use the clinique before you apply the micro. Apply the micro on bare skin then wait about an hour to apply the moisturizer if you need it.

I purchased two tubes of Retin A .1% from medsmex. Ive been using it for about a week and a half and have seen very little if any reaction even though I apply it immediatly after washing, which I hear causes faster absorbtion and can cause greater irrition. Ive experianced a little dryness but Im not sure if this is because I usualy use a moisturizer at night but havent been since using ther RA. I cracked open the other tube just to see if mabey I got a bad one; its color was white while the first one was yellowish. This makes me wonder if medsmex is selling fake RA.

They are not selling fake Retin-A. There is so much mis-information on the internet and occasionally on this forum. Especially about Medsmex. Believe what you want.

To another poster. Your bank is denying charges from ADC & Medsmex for your protection. When you want to buy products overseas all you need to do is call your creditcard company and tell them you will be purchasing from a certain company or website overseas. They will then let any current and future charges go thru for that website.

Most creditcard fraud purchases happen overseas. You should be glad your creditcard is blocking these charges without your authorization. All it takes is a simple phone call one time to allow these charges and you'll have no issues.

Thanks for the help =) I'm sorry if you find my name intimidating. I use it for consistency. It's my xbox gamer-tag which might explain something. Otherwise I have a tendency to forget my username to login.

Go to the link below for more information on retinoids. There are OTC and prescription retinoids. Retin-A is one of the stronger retinoids so it'll require a precription.

Retin A micro is a slow release formulation of tretinoin. It would not have the same feel as your other preparation and the side effects may be different because of the base ingedients/formulation. For the micro formulation, you are not supposed to apply any other products before or after, especially moisturizer as it would interfere with the slow release formulation of the drug. Skip your moisturizer and see if it improves the performance of this product. I don't believe it should "burn" when you apply it. The "burning" effect is usually with tretinoin preparations (or synthetic retinoids) that contain ALCOHOL, for example retin A GEL or Tazorac GEL. Other preparations of tretinoin don't normally "burn" when you apply them (that's assuming you don't have super sensitive skin).

I ordered Retin-A from inhousepharmacy.co.uk on 8 October, received the items about 2 weeks thereafter.

Today, AMEX called me - someone had attempted to use my card fraudently on curry.co.uk to purchase an item for £650.00.

Fortunately AMEX is on the ball and the transaction was stopped immediately. This has never happened to me before, and it's odd that it comes on the heels of purchasing from one of these 'pharmacy' websites...

Karenlee - this also happened to me after I made a purchase from Medsmex. There does seem to be an issue with these online pharmacies and I think it's very wise to use a debit card which has a small amount of funds on it, if possible. It's a shame that these types of sites can't use Paypal.

Medsmex.com has been blacklisted by pharmacyreviewer.com. Apparently it is a scam site now. I used to get really good service from them. Greg

I have had personal experience ordering from inhousepharmacy and have nothing but positive things to say about them. Their prices were great and it arrived fast. Don't know about the other companies mentioned.

I've been buying retin-a from pharmacygeoff dot com since 2003. I've ordered several different catefories of products and I've never had a problem with any of them.

A useful site for researching online pharmaceutical sales sites is drugbuyers dot com. It has a peculiar organization but once you figure it out it is very helpful.

Where do people who live in the Uk buy their Retin A or Renova cream from? My Dr wont prescribe it as I don’t have what she says is bad acne. I am wanting this to help the spots I get as im pre menopausal and also for anti aging. Also, my concern is very bad under eye wrinkles. Can this cream help with that? Can you use Retin A/Renova on the under eye area?

Many thanks

Sally

Retin A manufactured by a good pharmaceutical company is safe to use. If you have questions about the manufacturer then google them. Retin A can be used under the eye and yes it should clear up your crepiness although it may take 6 months to start to see a big difference. Greg

Many thanks Greg. Im just wanting something to lessen the crepiness under my eyes as it is making me look so so old. Its bothering me so much i only go to work and anywhere else is a big no no. for example once friday comes I literally lock myself in my house until i have to come out monday morning to go to work. I cant afford surgergy but saying that have read surgery wont eliminate the lines under my eyes. Im not expeting miracles from creams but like i say just somehting that may help lessen them a bit

Thank you once again

Sally

I ordered from medsmex once and within a week someone had used my card and spent $600 on a online gambling site.

So i will never again use credit card from sites i dont know well. I will only use debit card.

I ordered from alldaychemist recently and my order took about two weeks to arrive, from the date I placed the order. The order was well-packaged in a plain cardboard box. I used a one-time use credit card number from my card issuer just in case. I also used a junk email address I use for very little - I've seen complaints of spam but so far there has been no increase at all. I'm very pleased.

The spam started only a few months (3?) later for me. The email address was newly created and used only for ADC.
