I use it and it makes my hair silky and shiny. It smells great! I use it in combo with a little organic coconut oil. No frizzies, no dryness. |

Wow, following this thread is fun! It dates back to 2008!
I was recently in a wedding with a girl who LOVES to dye and process her hair. It was so crispy that her stylist gave her a bottle of Moroccanoil at a discount... and she said it totally brought her hair back to life!
Argan oil is definitely the product du jour. I have heard that Moroccanoil is definitely the best; all of the other ingredients in the bottle along with the argan oil help balance the product so its not like dipping your hair in a vat of pure oil. |

I actually just ordered some argan oil from Garden of Wisdom, and I'm planning on mixing in a bit with my Moroccanoil to make it a little more hydrating while still keeping it from being pure oil. I'll update as to how it goes! |

Moroccan Oil has to be one of my favourite products to really bring my hair back to life. I also use some of the other products in the range, including the Moisture Repair shampoo,Moisture Repair conditioner,Hydrating Styling Cream,Restorative Hair Mask and the Glimmer Shine Spray.
I find that using the mask once a fortnight is enough to bring my hair back to life if I have been neglecting it with heat styling etc..
They also make a lighter version of the original Moroccan Oil for people with finer hair or are a little unsure of using an oil in there hair or concerned that they will get a build up.
They have also just brought out a Luminous Hairspray which sounds like an amazing product as well. I found my hair had a dramatic turnaround in about 2 weeks from using the Moroccan Oil and now that I use quite a few of the products from the range, my hair hasn't looked this good in years. A wonder product in my book. |

I wanted to try Argan oil products, but I stay away from silicones, not because they are "evil" but because I can't use sulfates to wash it out.
So I tried the live clean Argan oil. Which, is kinda gross on my hair. It leaves my hair feeling dry and crunchy and kinda... sticky? ew.
I also tried one from Sally's. The Proclaim Natural 7 Argan Oil (which is mostly other oils with a little Argan thrown in at the end.)
This. I LOVE. I got wonderful soft curls out of it that kept for a second day. |

100% Pure, Natural Argan Oil is the best thing for skin and hair - and
ESSENCE OF ARGAN
is the best provider of REAL argan oil that I can find. Competitive pricing, home delivery large bottle sizes and the best Argan Oil I have ever used. |

The "Light" Moroccan Oil is better for fine hair as I found the original was to heavy. You always have to watch how much you apply - AS too much may make you hair look greasy.
But this Leave in conditioner does wonders for my hair!! |

Has anyone tried Adriene Arpel's Argan oil skin care line? I just viewed it on HSN (Home Shopping Network)on t.v. Eye cream, day cream, night cream combo. It's definitely not pure Argan, but the ingredient list looked really good. I saw one oz. Of pure Argan oil for $18.00. That seems like a reasonable price. HSN's price was about $70.00 for the entire kit. Not sure what to do, and I have been researching this for too long! First post/time on this site, love it! |

I have very thick frizzy hair and it really makes my hair very sleek and shiny. My mother uses the shampoo and conditioner and loves it. She says it's the best shampoo and conditioner that she has ever used. Her hair is dry and her hair looks so healthy and shiny. It's worth the price.

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and have read through this interesting thread from the start.
I've done some research on Moroccan / Argan oils and products but am confused by the number of brands and variations out there.
I'd like some advice please....
Firstly I'm looking for a 'pure' Argan oil that I can use after washing as a serum. From what I've found the 'purest' seems to be this Nature's Vitality Pure Moroccan Argan Oil product:
www (dot) moroccan-oil (dot) com (dot) au
It states in the contents that it is 100% Pure Moroccan Argan Oil. Has anyone tried this one? Is it as pure as it claims?
Secondly I'm also looking for a shampoo and conditioner with Moroccan / Argan Oil. I've narrowed my search down to these:
Silk - Oil of Morocco Shampoo:
www (dot) oilofmorocco (dot)com (dot) au
Nature's Vitality Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo:
www (dot) moroccan-oil (dot) com (dot) au
Agadir Argan Oil Shampoo
www (dot) agadirint (dot) com/shampoo (dot) html
I'm trying to find a shampoo that is as natural as possible with no chemicals. Looking at the ingredients list, they don't look all that natural and was hoping someone might be able to comment about the ingredients.
Thanking you in advance! |

I love Moroccan oil, I use a combo of vitamin e, morrocan, and apricot kernal oil (after having great results with nutremetics apricot kernal oil products). I find this combination is very moisturizing and also is excellent to add a few drops of in the hair after a bath. |

I have the REAL morrocanoil product, blue with brown packaging and it smells DIVINE. I desperately wanted this to work, it is NOT cheap but I cannot say the oil has helped my hair and I have gone through 1 1/2 bottles using it every other day when I wash my hair. To me, it smooths hair and eliminates frizzies but doesn't really hydrate it. Now I can say that the deep conditioner is fantastic and really hydrates my hair but I do think you can find cheaper hair masks that work just about as well. I'd like to get the shampoo and conditioner but I may break the bank if I keep buying all their products plus everything else I get
I also got some Argan oil and to me it works the same as the morrocanoil... eliminates frizzies |

Biosilk is silkier and less greasy but the Morrocan Oil will hydrate your hair much better. |

Let me put in my 2 cents just for the heck of it. I love Moroccan oil. It's among the best products for my hair. My hair is long, blond, very fine. But the MO just makes it silky, does not weigh it down. |

I found another oil I love even better than Moroccan Oil, it's Orofluido elixir. I love that stuff!! It doesn't weigh my hair down at all compared to the other oils. |
