Go for it Natalyn! I use it on my arms and face and I am loving the effect! My arms are looking more even colored! That's my big hyperpigmentation issue, I was bad about neglecting sunscreen on them. |

2 sunscreens? You mean you use one on top of another, or do you use 2 different ones at different times? Also which are your 2 SSs? |

LOL I know it sounds crazy but 1) I am in South Florida and the sun is brutal and shines all year long! 2) I use a regular physical sunscreen, Burnout right now then I use the Colorescience Orb a powder mineral sunscreen over it (I love the Orb) it aside from giving protection takes away any tacky feel for me and also acts a bit like a primer between my Burnout and my MMU. |

| I'm so happy a lot of you guys are trying this cream out and loving it! I told you it works! I was amazed when I first started using it, after a few days my skin looked great. I don't use it as much, maybe every other day, because using it every day started to irritate my skin slightly. But I still use it, I have a full jar in my closet! My sister stole my other jar and uses it every day, lol. |

| All this excitement makes me want to run down the block and see if they have it at my walgreen's... even though I'm not sure where/how to wedge another cream into my routine! |

I used to use a product called Alpha Hydrox which is probably similar to the Walgreens product. Are any of you using this product and also using Retin A, not at the same time, but in conjunction with each other. I use a C Serum in the morning, Retin A at night and some other creams but am unsure when I could incorporate this stuff too.
Darkmoon, I'm from S FL but moved. The sun is brutal. |

I use this with Retin-A. I also use copper peptides and apply the Retin-A at night over the CP and then use the Walgreen's AH in the AM under sunscreen. I've stopped using my Vit C because I'm lazy, but I would like to add it back in and don't know how to incorporate all of these things into one routine. There simply isn't enough time in the day to use all of one's skincare products! |

For those that use Retin-A every other night, you could alternate with the AHA cream. So the routine would be like this:
AM
Vit C serum, sunscreen, etc.
PM
Every other night: Retin-A
Every other night: AHA cream
Could be too much acid for some skin. I tried it for a while a few months back, was too harsh for me, so I've dropped the AHA for now.
For those using Retin-A every night...I can't see a good alternative for adding in an AHA, unless you add it mid-day. You don't want to put it on too soon after Vitamin C.
I think you just have to pick what works best for your skin. All three (C, retin, AHA) may be too much - pick the best two for you.
Changing up the routine every once in a while could work too. There was a dermatologist while back (can't recall his name) who was advocating a 6 month cycle for Retin-A with 6 months using it, then 6 months using something else (like AHA). |

| Thanks Shastagirl,I think I will go to the every other night routine once I find the product at Walgreens. I appreciation the suggestion of how to incorporate into my routine. I've been using a cream with Matrixyl 3000 as well but I used it all up so it's a good time to add something new. |

| I've used the Walgreens AHA since last year and I have to say it's a wonder for such a low price. I used to use Alpha Hydrox, but I can't find it anywhere around here and paying shipping for it online it gets expensive for such a little jar. I always have a jar of Walgreens on hand and use it a few times a week in the AM. It's great to have something that works well, comes with a good amount, for a price we all can afford. |

| With all the positive replys, I hope my wallgreens will have some of this. I really hope it dosen't break me out, I typically don't like stuff that stings on application. |

ALEN003,
I think it will depend on your skin's sensitivity level. I have slathered this on (even after enzyme masks) without ever feeling even a slight tingle. |

Bump...
I actually picked a jar of this up and it has been sitting in my drawer for a couple of weeks. I'm about to use it now.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with purging? Would using it sparingly and working your way up minimize the chances of a purge? Really not looking forward to that. Maybe nothing will happen, I'll go really really slow, but I'm trying to think of the best ways to avoid it.
My main issues are crazily dry skin (I have to use an exfoliation wash cloth every day, sometimes twice), red patches, uneven skin tone, a few bumps, discoloration from acne, sometimes small active pimples, and blackheads.
This would help with all of those, right?
I'm definitely going to try it on my hands first, then maybe on my chest and neck, and then find a small test patch on my face that i can easily hide.
Does this sound like a good plan to everyone? |

Okay, so I used it yesterday night on my chest area and hands - no bite and no dramatic change. It did moisturize but nothing major. Mind you, my hands are crazily dry.
This morning I applied it to my chest again.. let's see.
I'm wondering if the consistency is normal.. it's very liquidy, a lot of people on makeupalley have said it looks like glue, i would agree with that. it also smells weird. I wonder if my one is still okay, maybe it has gone bad?
I read somewhere that they redesigned. My jar has only the "W" on it, not the "Wallgreen's". Is that the newer version? does anybody know? |

Is anybody here?
How long until you guys started to see results? I've been using it for 4 days now (alas not on my face) and I don't think I see any reaction. I usually have sensitive skin so I'm confused It doesn't tingle or sting at all for me. |

This is a great find!! and i have seen some of my scars getting lighter but I don't know if its this cream or any other hormonal changes but my forehead and left side of the nose is getting flaky. Did this happened to anyone else??
I'm also using philosophy's hope in a jar moisturizer from past 2 weeks now but I'm not sure if thats the cause. BTW i hate its smell |

I picked some of this up on "clearance' at my neighborhood Walgreen's. Does anyone know if they are discontinuing it?
I'm using it on my hands and arms -- hoping that it will help with some of my pigmentation issues.
Is anyone still using this? Results?? |

I haven't tried the Walgreen's one, but if they are discontinuing it, you can always switch to alpha hydrox. They are a bit more expensive though, but it's the cheapest and reportedly most effective AHA cream next to Walgreen's |
