marina - you aren't supposed to use any other products with this L2K system. After week 3, you can add her colors since they are compatable with the system, but not other lipsticks/gloss.
ariesextreme - everyone should go through a peeling phase at some point. Not everyone goes through the immediate peeling though. I did but that was because I tried to use a regular lipstick over the products and ended up suffocating my lips. However, when using the products properly, you should start peeling a bit once the layers start to rejuvenate.
I'm off to lunch and will report an update later. Not much to report at week 3 from week 2 though. |

Tam,
is it more of a peeling as in dry skin or a layer of dead skin? I have chronic dry lips and when they peel the underlying new skin stings or hurts. I hope it isn't like that. |

Well, for me it was the latter of the two and yes it was very painful. HOWEVER, that's not what is supposed to happen with this. I got that way from trying to use a product outside of this system with it. I think that the rejuvenation peeling is probably just more like dry skin. Since I'm not there yet though, I can't say for sure.
Week 3 update - Well, I'm not seeing results like some of the other ladies here, but remember my lips are in worse shape than theirs. They are definitely loving this system, but no change in any of the lines or fullness so far. I'm hoping that the second months will really start showing results for me.
Oh and Kandis - I figured out that the problem isn't adding too much water to the exfoliant. The problem is that when I smile and start rubbing my lips with my finger, the inner part of my lip sort of folds over my teeth. This basically makes sort of a ramp straight into my mouth. I also rub more in this area since the inner part of my lips tends to get peely the most. I hope that explains it! |

Ariesextreme,
I didn't have any discomfort at all. One day I could see this red spot on my lip and when I looked closer I realized it was peeling and the darker red was the layer underneath. What I've had so far is more like dry skin after a light peel. Occasionally, I'll feel a tingle in my lips but nothing painful.
I do want to point out that my lips weren't bad regarding chapped and such. I did wear lipstick but it wasn't all day, every day type of thing and maybe that's why.

Rubby,
Good luck should you decide to order. I'm very happy. Very Happy.

Thanks Kimberly. I think I will order the system after the holidays (my lips really need a lot of work ).
I was wondering if it would be worth ordering the Face 2 Flaunt Line Eliminator as well. So, if anyone is using this product - I'd appreciate comments.
Happy holidays everyone!

Rubby,
I have the Face2Flaunt but I've only had it a week or so. It's too early for me to give you a definitive answer but so far it seems to be working well. If your lips and above lips are very lined I'd probably go ahead and order it at the same time.
Good luck Rubby, let us know how you do. I'm really excited about this-more than any other product I've used.

Thanks Kimberly. I have a huge wish list I am saving for , so I may just go with the 4-step system first. When I see how it works (and IF it works for me), I'll decide on the F2F.
Have happy holidays!

About 2 weeks into the system and the peeling and dryness are over! One thing that I think hastened the process is that I used my Clarisonic brush to help with the exfoliation. I just put the exfoliating cream directly on my lips and then used the brush. I don't have sensitive skin, but this approach may be too rough for those who do. |

This reminded me of something, I've heard that when women hang out with each other a lot, that for some reason they start to cycle together. Which doesn't make sense if you're on a schedule especially with b/c pills. Sorry...completely off topic.
Saladgirl,ugh..you just reminded me of another item I need to purchase..the Clarisonic brush |

Has anybody with permanent lip color (tattoo) ever used this system? From what I've read on here, I bet it would make the permanent color more vibrant. |

Patty,
Years ago I had permanent lip liner done. Mine matches my lips and I've seen no difference. I think one of the Kandis's test subjects had permament lip tatoo done. You can always email Kandis or call if you have questions.

Thanks Kimberly, I'll do that and for you girls who don't have permanent lip color, eyebrows or eyeliner, you should think about it. It's great! And if you want to change color, you can always put a different color on top of your tattoo. So very convenient!

I got my package too & have used it for one night so far & my lips feel great already! The only thing is that I was hoping there would be product ingredients lists available, but I can't seem to find/see them But I'm assuming this is because Kandis wants to keep this info secret! |

Hi Poco,
Good to see you around . Please keep us posted on your progress with the system. I'd really like to know how you like it.

Hi Rubby! Nice to see you too.
Patty, did you have permanent eyeliner done? Didn't it hurt awfully? I can't imagine having needles poked into the edge of my eyelid, much as I would like to do something to define my eyes... |

Used it last night, took before pics and geeze were my lips extremely dry yesterday...started to pic at em again
This morning, my lips are seriously red as red delicious apples! Much better this morning condition wise also. I'm not too fond of the night glaze though, too thick for me. |

ok - first week down - the extreme dryness is over (thank heavens). NO peeling yet though
i have noticed i have needed a little less product throughou the day - less LC/LG and NG
i was not a steady lip gloss/stick user though. I was more addicted to my lip fusion than anything else...so we'll see what this second week brings - no real plumping yet to note. |

Okay, I have a tendency to rub my lips together everytime I put on some kind of lip product, does anyone know why Kandis doesn't want us to do this? |

Just gave it my first go. My lips feel so soft. I'm going to put some of the NG in a roller ball applicator to use during the day for easier application. I have a long ways to go and am looking forward to the results at the end of the road. |

Started it Tuesday night and my lips are already dry and peeling . They're quite dry during the day. How often is everyone applying the Lcrm+NG, or the LG+NG, or just the LG. She explicitly states to apply at least twice an hour.
At this rate, my Night Glaze will be gone in like a month or two. |

I started peeling right away for 2 or 3 days - then stopped and didn't notice anything. I'm now peeling again (I think I'm about 3 or 4 weeks in?)
Kandis told me to use LG+NG (no heat) constantly during the day. I (think) I wasn't getting enough results from the LC+NG.
Kandis says the biggest problem was not using enough product. BTW - one kit is supposed to last one month. |

Think that's what my prob is, not applying enough products on my lips. I drink a lot of water during the day and I hate having things on my lips when I drink from the water bottle. |
