Hmmm. I just ordered from ADC.
I got 3 tubes of the "Retino A" (0.05%) and 3 tubes of the "A Ret 0.1" and of course found this thread AFTER I already ordered last night.
So is the "A Ret" one not good then? |
There has even been a thread at one point where people had fraud after ordering from EDS, it's not the places you are purchasing from it's hackers! Get good anti-virus and anti-spyware on your pc/mac. AVG is a great free anti-virus program and spybot is for detecting and removing spyware also free. If you are home networked make sure you secure it. Don't place orders from public computers, that includes workplace pc!
Protect your personal info, clean up your hard drive, those temp Internet files are a hackers dream. Windows users go to start-all programs-accessories-system tools-disk clean up. |
That's not what I meant. Other people had been saying that they got versions of Retin-A from All Day Chemist that ended up not being good quality or not working well. Is this true? |
The gel .025 and .05 made by Shalaks i think, is very real and is working great. It is one of the best formulations i have used. At less than $3 per tube it is a great value too. Greg |

My experience over a few years with A-Ret gel .1% from ADC (mfr Shalaks) has been amazing. The oil base versus the US alcohol one has been a godsend for my oily skin, many oilies on MUA profess the same. I can't comment on all over dry skin but my cheeks and chin are habitually parched and it works great on them too. |

Any more updates on which sites are safe to order from? I really don't want to order from ADC since it seems so shady... |

Go to makeupalley and get in on an ADC group order with a well-established U.S. member, they do them there all the time. You pay the member through PayPal, they use either a check or one-time use CC to pay ADC and then send you your purchase. Or you can use a one-time use CC on your own with ADC, others at MUA have done it with success, search their boards and you'll find a wealth of info. I participated in a recent group order through MUA. Otherwise you can try owndoc but I don't know anyone who has and she only sells one strength. HTH |

Oh wow, I had no idea they did that! That's great! Although I'm not sure if they'll be willing to ship to Canada?
I recently found a site called magicpharma. It's definitely more expensive but it seems a lot more reliable. I'll try that out fist and report back to here |

I received my order from inhousepharmacy three weeks ago. The expiration for all three tubes of retin-a is 8/2012. I accidentally purchased the retin-a gel instead of the microgel but the gel is working great for me. I have now used the cream, gel and microgel version from inhouse and they all seem authentic to me.
I have only had good experience with inhousepharmacy and have not ordered from any other sites, though I was tempted a few times with alldaychemist but after seeing reviews on here, i would be scared to order from them. |

I've ordered and tried the alldaychemist version of Retin A, Retin A Micro and Tazorac.
I've also used the prescription versions of these.
The only one that appears to come close is the Retin A version - the others appear to be fakes or something is clearly wrong.

I too ordered Careprost few days ago and had confirmed the same from my bank, I was been charged accurately without any extra charge on it and the product is also very nice haven't faced any side effects yet I think the site is now much more secure to shop online. If any have a doubt then shop with a prepaid card and have a check its safe and secure now. |

Are this news true that ADC charges twice for online shopping or placing orders through credit cards? I and my mom are frequent on this site and we order every alternate day with never a problem in any of our transactions that too with our credit cards. |

My most recent order from ADC with Tazorac (or whatever the ADC equivalent is called) seemed closer to the real thing that I got here by prescription. It was an earlier shipment that I really doubted.
The Retin A-like formula has always performed as well as the prescription formula (and maybe better )- I have read several citations that claim an alcohol base is better than an oil base for skin penetration of active ingredients.

I have only ever ordered from ADC because you really can't beat the price, once they sent an email saying payment hadn't gone through so I paid again and was charged twice but they emailed me again and the money was quickly refunded.
The only concern I have had recently is one of my 0.05 tubes had the lid snapped in half and the cream was exposed, I am waiting to hear back from them about this.
The retin a boxes always seem a bit tatty but not as much this time. |

Retirides is another form of Retin-A, with the active ingredient Tretinoin - an acid form of Vitamin A.
You can order Retirides though Pharmamundi with the current coupon FREE25 for "Free Shipping." I purchased the Retirides 0.1% 30G for $14.99 and felt safer with the order going through Paypal. |

Just to clarify the coupon code for free shipping at Pharmamundi is FREE25. I originally put the code into bold letters, so disregard the [b]at the beginning & end of the code. |

Hi, I am in the UK and just saw they are selling retin a cream on amazon - has anyone ordered retina a cream from amazon seller before?
Last time I ordered from inhousepharmacy I think...
Cheers

Just checked inhousepharmacy (europe) and they are out of stock of all of them except for the most expensive, which is over 100 dollars
Maybe I should give the amazon one a try - although I would have preferred retin a micro since it is less hassle to use |

For the UK ladies you can order from Facebay.co.uk. I am currently waiting for them to restock the cream but apparently they have the gel in stock. They stock Johnson and Johnson's Retino-A. Price is about £20 for 3x 20g tubes inc p+p. |

I just wanted to weigh in with regard to purchasing Retin A on the internet. I have ordered from OwnDoc- who primarily sells dermarollers. Sarah Vaughtner sells 0.05 and 0.1 % retin A without a prescription. It's probably not the cheapest place to order it-if I recall correctly, it's $39. But they are very reputable, and I trust them as a vendor. I'm in California, and the shipping was surprisingly low and fast. |

I bumped this up as I still would like to know where to order Retin A if I need to order online. To azjules, as far as I am concerned, Retirides and Retin A is the same thing. Only the name is different. They both have same ingredient, which is Tretinoin 0.05%. Guys correct me if I am wrong.
I currently have Retirides as I was in Spain last year and bought one over the counter for just 13 euros, no probs at all. I just need to know where to buy the next one, and whether to swap Retirides with Retin A if it's not the same thing. But I believe it is.
Thanks |

Thank you Circus! I found inhousepharmacy.vu too. However I will look at tara's now. What does it mean when they say Generic Retin A and which one is the best?? Getting too confused now. Isn't Tretinoin what we want? that is what we should look out for no? I have Retirides and it has tretinoin as ingredient.
Thanks heaps |

Bellastella generic retin a simply means it is not the brand name "Retin-A" and is less expensive. They are all tretinoin. The Retirides is one example of generic retin a. Retino-A is also generic. The inhousepharmacy one you linked to is the brand name one.
Not sure where you are and the kind of healthcare system you have, but it might be worth a try asking your doctor. That inhousepharmacy price is imho outrageous! |

Thank you so much Circus, that is now very clear, I just simply wanted to make that sure. I have 2 Retirides with me but I often wondered whether they are as effective as Retin A, even though I never used the real stuff. I will continue to use the ones I have, I bought them very cheap in Spain. |
