Cuddles did you get the #1 (pink) products or #2 (yellow)?
I am fair but can get color so I'm not sure which to go for - thinking I'm #1. |

Aargh! I lost my Face Disk!! I left it in a taxi after a wonderful evening culminating in a delicious meal at a seafood restaurant in Glasgow. The awful thing is my BF actually saw it on the seat after I got out of the taxi. He thought it was a ultra thin CD player. Duh! and told the driver, "someones left a CD player"!! In the morning when I couldn't find it I asked him if he had seen a silver disc and the look of horror on his face, had me wondering what I had said wrong!!.
I am lost without it, so I thought that I would order a replacement from a UK site. Oh but it was so expensive, £60.00, so I guess I will order from HSN to be sent to my sons address in Denver and then get it mailed here to Scotland. I can't wait until July when I am due back in Denver to get another one.
I can't imagine life without my face disk now.I am totally hooked on the "no make up" make up.
Has produces, if so are they as good?

Ok, not totally off topic as this thread was the latest to mention Lauren's AquaPress.
So who got it and what do you think about it? If you got it, did you get a combo deal or just the sponges (asking cause wondering if just the sponges are enough versus getting all the products in a kit). |

lunarmm, I sort of have Aquapress - it was supposed to be a mother's day gift, but my husband forgot to wrap it I should be getting it tonight . After I use it a few times, I will report back on how I like it. In the mean time, maybe someone else that has used it will give some feedback. |

I see that somehow I managed to write an incomprehensible question at the end of my post!
I said "Has produces, if so are they as good?" What I meant to say was, "has anyone used any of her other products and if so are they as good?
Don't ask how I did it, must have been a Blonde moment!

Can someone give a little guidance on how to choose the color?
I have read other threads about how to tell your undertones but I am still confused.
I definitely look better in earth colors but I feel like when I look at my skin it looks it looks a bit pinkish but i could be imagining it.
Do you think the medium would be a safer choice than the light?
Also, I went on HSN and they only have the dark color left. I called customer service and they don't know when they will get more and they don't know when Lauren will be on again.
I think I will buy one from ebay. |

| I forgot to mention in my last post that HSN has the medium in a "no shine" version. It seems like the face disc itself is the same but comes with powder and blotting papers instead of something else. |

Hi Ricky, I have tried her mineral foundation, mineral blush, and lip click. The foundation seems to give a very light coverage and to be forgiving on the color (I was worried that the "yellow" would be too light for me because it looks much lighter in the jar than my other MMU foundation samples). I love the mineral blush! The color is perfect -- very natural and subtle, which is what I want. The lip click packaging is really cool (the real reason I purchased the kit), the color is ok, but it doesn't last on my lips very long. HTH! |

| Ok, so I told you I suck at putting make-up on. I figured out I was just putting too much concealer on under my eyes. After I fixed that, I remebered to set it with powder(which I forgot to do the first time), and my make-up looked great and lasted all day. Love this stuff. |

Does anyone know if the vhs/dvd situation with HSN has been resolved? I tried to call but the number doesn't' work from Canada...
A family member will place an order for me but I would like to know I can receive the dvd since my vcr is on its deathbed and I don't plan to buy another one.
Also have not had success DLing the video from the link Pachouli provided.
Scalawaggirl, I tried to visit your videos on photobucket a few days ago and got a message they couldn't be found. I did cut and paste as you suggested. Did you removed them or has the link expired?
Thanks everyone!

| Ive tried the TM and its great...matte and good coverage. I have also used the mascara and its fab. The tinted lip balm is nice but not a lot of pigment...still a nice color. Lipliner is great too! |

My face disc arrived this weekend. I watched the DVD twice and have applied the makeup twice.
I don't normally wear concealer but I feel like this stuff is magic. I can't really explain it but I feel like I look different.
My problem is with the contour powder. I feel like it is noticeable on my face (looks a bit dirty). In the DVD, Lauren says that it is so sheer that it won't make your face look dirty. I don't think I am using too much. maybe it just takes practice. Did anyone else have trouble with this? |

Mmm, VMP40, can't answer your question about the contour color as I don't have the disc but I've been considering it or just the Try Me Trio. I'm really more interested in using the concealer portion as I have had such difficulty finding one that doesn't seem to "enhance" my crow's feet.
Can you tell me where you purchased your disc? You were able to get the DVD and I know that was an issue in the past with HSN - they were sending out VHS tapes. I was wondering if they had resolved this issue. |

Lunarmm,
I purchased the disc from HSN. It was the no-shine version (that was the only one they had left in medium -- it just came with powder and oil blotting paper but the actual disc is the same). It did come with the DVD.
I purchased the brush set on ebay.
I am new to concealer but this seems pretty amazing. |

| I have been using the face disc for about 3 weeks and absolutely love it. I have not had the problem with the contour powder at all. I really cant' see it, it's so subtle - I wonder if a different brush would help. I am using Lauren Hutton brushes. I also like the sheer concealer- I have never used anything like it before. The nose (pooch) powder is really great too - it makes my nose and eyes look much better! I didn't know anything about contouring before. The blush is really nice too and I also like the eyeliner (I stopped using eyeliner about 15 years ago until now). I am not that nuts about the regular concealer (diff. from the sheer one) - I just already have one that's working better for me and the lip balm I could really live without. Other than that, this is a keeper! |

I guess I just need more practice. I am using the Lauren Hutton brushes -- maybe I just need a lighter touch.
Regarding the spot concealers, its a bit of a pain that you need to blend them. |

Hey Montrealgal, I took a look at it on Interwood and the kit description includes the "Face Disc Instructional DVD (15min)". HTH!

Sorry I had my hard drive crash and just got back the computer. I spoke with Deb Crowley the creator and she said she would get on the forum and answer questions. I need to give her the link. I know she said she was headed home after being out of town. So I would think she can get on within a couple days. |
