I just received my Tripollar POSE today, and did my first treatment.
I started off on low as I was terrified of getting burned (I had been burned previously from an IPL laser). There was barely any heat, and the orange light came on within seconds. So I turned it up to medium and the orange light still came on pretty fast, but I continued. Then I turned it up to high, the heat was not hot at all. However, the orange light still came on pretty quick. I left it on high for a little bit longer before doing the big circles at the end.
I will do the treatments twice a week, for 8 weeks. I took before pictures so I would be able to see any changes to keep me motivated.
The only thing I have to figure out now, is what to do about the orange light coming on so soon on the highest setting. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
I will come back to post my results |

Thanks PQ, but I have read through that page a few times already before I even got the device.
I just want to know what I should do when the orange light seems to come on right away when on high? I am doing SLOW, circular motions like the user manual suggests. However, I think the orange light came on way to fast. So, any help with that would be great. |

Always start on the lowest setting and working in small blocks, until the orange light glows, across the entire area, slight faster movements on medium, and then 15-20 mins on high and ignore the orange light as you have pre-warmed the area. this works for me and I continue to have great results.

Thanks again PQ! That is exactly what I did, as I posted in my first post. I started on low, then went to medium (the orange light still came on fast), then on high. I kept it on high for a little while with big sweeping motions, even though the orange light was still on. It wasn't too hot but the light had been on so I didn't overdo it at this was my first treatment.
On the next treatment, I will do it for longer and ignore the orange light, thanks so much.
How are you results now, after some time PQ? Is your skin completely tightened? |

If you follow that protocol you will see results.
My skin is very tight, and happy with the results.
Good luck and keep us up to date on your progress.

I definitely will follow that protocol as I am excited to see results! Thanks for the tip.
That's really great that your skin is very tight from this little device. I look forward to getting similar results too.
I would like to know when you started to actually see a change? I.e, after how many treatments? I have some loose skin (actually, more like wrinkles) from pregnancy that I am trying to tighten up. I am confident this will do the job.
It seems as though things are a little bit tighter but I'm not sure. I will take pics every week to compare. |

Give it 3 months, and enjoy the treatment. pq |

It's been a little over a month since I first started using my tripollar pose. I have had tremendous results I can hardly believe it!
The skin on my stomach is much much tighter already, and my stretch marks are fading giving my skin an overall smoother and clearer complexion. Even though I have missed a couple of sessions here and there, it is still working great for me!
And to think I was going to spend thousands of dollars to get a thermage treatment! I'm so satisfied already but I will continue until the skin is completely tight on my tummy and my stretch marks are very faded.
I am going on vacation this winter, so I will be very consistent with my treatments until then. And hopefully, I will be able to wear a bikini at the beach this time.
I will come back when it has been 3 months, and give another update. |

Hi,
No problem for the update. However, I do not have any cellulite (thank goodness)! I am using the Tripollar POSE for tightening the skin on my stomach that is not so tight due to 2 pregnancies.
Hope that helps. |

The RIO RF device was delivered in the mail today... YAY!! I couldn't wait so tried it on a patch of skin, god this thing gets hot, the heat with the STOP is nothing compared to this. I hold the technology behind it in high regard though so hope it will work. |

| I got my Rio RF device in the mail and god it is strong, the heat of the STOP is nothing compared to the body devices. I did my stomach the other night and tarted off on high but it was just to hot, medium was nearly just as bad, and low was the only one that didn't burn. I'm very happy with the quality of this device, and hopefully soon the results. |

| Unfortunately the Rio RF device is going on eBay to be sold. I dont know why but my face handles radio frequency well, it's my body that gets pigmentation issues when ever radio frequency is used on it. Which is a shame because RF has really helped my face but it gives me brown hyperpigmentation on my body. |

echoecho,
I hate to say this because I love the Prose, but I have noticed that I have brown spots on my thighs now after using it. No issues with my stomach. I am working currently to lighten those brown spots. |

I had a professional fat cavitation (fat reduction ultrasound) treatment done a while back that also included RF to tighten the excess skin and always just thought the brown spots came up because of the ultrasound as the STOP has never given me any issues. I now see that it was the RF and my whole back has broken out into brown spots, whats more it looks like I cant use it on other areas either. It really does seem like a powerful machine which is good because it means that it works but for me it isnt worth the side affects.
I got rid of those spots when they first reared there ugly head a while back through using 10% enzyme pads from GOW and 5% salyclic cream every night, once they fade they dont come back, so dont worry to much about these. |

I also wanted to add that others shouldn't take this for my product review. This is just what happens to me with radio frequency treatments in general, so theres nothing wrong with the Rio or Pose it's just me someone elses skin may react completely differently, Toby you have been using this machine for quite some time with good results and no side affects haven't you? I think the technology is great, it just dosent work for me. Having said that though the STOP has done wonders for me which irritates me a little bit because the STOP has never caused brown spots to surface |

| I have never had any brown spots on my face from the Stop. I did see the an increase of brown spots from the Pose on my thighs. I have gotten sun on my thighs in my younger years but not since my 30's. I know the Pose is a hotter device meant to deal with fat and the Stop doesn't not heat up to the same level and IS NOT for fat loss so maybe the temperature is what brings the brown spots up. I will try your remedy for the brown spots and see what happens. |

I'm thinking your right about the difference in temperature it's the only possible explanation because the treatment isnt light based. I'm going to try doing it on the lowest level. |

Toby and Echoecho did you use enough gel on the treated areas?I guess that if you didn't use enough maybe this can explain the hyperpigmentation.
Another question, because I intend to buy RIO,can this device be dangerous/cause damage to the skin?what can be the side effects? |

The brown spots occured not because there wasnt enough gel applied but because this seems to be my reaction to RF based treatments (as it has happened before and with a professional treatment as well). I'm not to sure about the side affects as there hasnt been enough long term studies for the use of RF on the skin. |

| I use plenty of gel...I think it is the heat and it brings up damaged skin cells from years of sun bathing on that area. |
