No problem, StellaLuna.
The only thing that I know of that can truly change your skin is Retin-A. And that is why you need a prescription. So it stands to reason that if ANY cream or serum actually worked... You'd probably have to get a prescription too! I know this intellectually, yet I can't switch off the emotional (love the smell of creams, the texture, the promise), so I continue spending ££ on stuff that I know deep down won't really do anything for me.
So I don't think you're far off thinking about botox for real changes... I think I'll end up going that route eventually, I'm just not quite ready yet. For maintenance, I think tools such as LED will do more than creams.
Yet, still I buy creams and study my face for changes |

Thank you for the lesson. I'm new but like to read what the established members post. |

Hi,
Well, first of all, it is my first time ever being a member of any forum. It is so great that people are very helpful in giving these reviews. I have certainly benefitted from them! I just wanted to give my input on lifecell. I started using it a few days ago. The morning after using it, I noticed a marked difference with my undereye dark circles. I have suffered from this for years. I have used many products and I can say that this one is excellent. Regarding other problem areas, I will be patient before commenting on results, but I can give a high rating regarding undereye improvement. By the way, their customer service is phenomenal. I do plan to also try the eye precision system by dermajuv and welcome any comments on its effectiveness. May I also add the importance of drinking at least 2 Liters of water daily to assist in skin improvement. Hallelujah I have found Jesus and now I've found lifecell!! Definitely give it a try... |

I honestly contemplated botox or some other more drastic fillers. I decided to scan the Internet and see if anyone out there had any recommendations...my last resort, so to speak, before heading to Dr.whatshisname. I too was extremely skeptical of many, many sites that promoted this or that. However, Dermajuv and LifeCell seemed to be the more common ones. I went onto the LifeCell site....holy sh*t...I had no idea what to think. I thought...this has to be a scam. No honest company with a so called "excellent product" would even concede in having such a crappy site. Hell, I had no idea what to think. However, the idea of using Dermajuv with their 3 creams did not entice me. I can barely remember to remove my mascara at night. I am not knocking Dermajuv, I never tried it. LifecCell just seemed more user friendly. Okay, so I live in Montreal, Canada and received my LifeCell this afternoon. Ladies, let me tell you something. I freaken love this ! I am sitting here at my desk with my glass of water beside me and I am so happy. My skin feels so incredibly soft. My skin tone is even. My skin feels tight but not dry. My lips are not plumped, but I don't care for that. But the most amazing thing is the lines on my forehead seem to have almost vanished. I almost feel like trying this on other parts on my body !! I waited almost 10 days in order to get it but hell, it was well worth it. I highly recommend LifeCell to you ladies. |
I just ordered it yesterday, i have been searching for a while after reading your post and others I hope it does what its says, in the long run it will be cheaper, (if it works)won't have to buy all the other creams serums,etc....will take pictures and update after a few weeks of use they say it takes 4-6 weeks to see full results also got the collagen vitamins?? see what happens |

Well here we are a few weeks later and not that long ago I was speaking praises on Lifecell. Well my excitement was short lived...KarenLee was right ! This product is not all it seems. The cream has a texture and a color in it that seems to remove the light (?) from a wrinkle, hence, making seem less visible to the naked eye, but it does not do anything else to it. The skin does seem softer but I realised afterwards that its has the effect of filling up all the holes and indentations in your face, more like a putty. It has done no long time benefits for me. Matter of a fact, it has dried out my face !! Should you apply this under make, and you'll soon realise that your make up wil begin to flake off and it is disgusting. KarenLee, my apologies !! I am returning the product back and now have a basic moisturiser and am strongly considering botox........ |
don't know how i missed this..i hope this isn't the case with me just ordered it |

I have not tried Dermajuv, but I have had success with LifeCell. I add a moisturizer on top. |

I wonder if the "peeling" reports are a good thing? Maybe, this means the skin is rejuvenating? I have been using LifeCell since Christmas day. I do think it is making a difference, but, at only 10-11 days in, I am not sure. It is uber expensive, so it is going to have to be pretty good for me to keep buying it! |

Hi Does anyone have input on how lifecell works for sagging skin - I'm thinned faced but have sagging right at the corners of my mouth. So, I'm looking for a product that can tighten and tend to wrinkles too.
So, any insights on Lifecell and the firming effects?
And, I'm sure open to hearing what anyone has to say on what they think is the best "firming" product and what the best "wrinkle" product is. Lifecel? And if not, some other product or combo of products.
Thanks for your insights. |

I have used Lifecell for one day short of the 30 day return. I have my return authorization number and box packed. I just cannot seem to justify $80.00/month when I can't decide if it works. Some of the wrinkles are gone but even as they state themselves THEY WILL REAPPEAR ONCE YOU WASH THE PRODUCT OFF! They state clearly that the diminished wrinkles are an optical illusion. My face is certainly tighter but it also feels dry. If I don't put a serum over it, my stick foundation sticks and jumps all over the place. I guess the only reason I am considering keeping it is a) I have no other option at hand and b) catch this...when they gave me authorization to return it, they also strongly suggested I keep going for six weeks total to gat "maximum results". I don't know...I think it's going back...it's very, very expensive and I just don't have the income to justify such an iffy results. Does that make any sense to anyone? |

I just realized that one of the biggest selling points of Lifecell is their claim it is a 6-in-1 product, that is, you don't need eye creams, moisturizers, serums, etc. Well after reading my own post (that's somewhat embarrassing) and the posts of others, I don't seem to fine many, if any, that like Lifecell without using at least one additional product. That kind of blows any claim out of the water. I have to use a serum before using a foundation. I am leaning toward using a moisturizer. So, that makes three products. Then, since the wrinkles reappear once the product is washed off, by their own admission, that outcome is nixed. So, we're down to 3 in 1. I don't remember their other claims so unless its that the product improves memory (or decision making), I'm going to have to send this little puppy to the pound. |

I am the first to say I am one of the most skeptical persons regarding skin care products. I am nearly 40 years old and have tried numerous products. I have extremly sensitive skin that all products tend to irritate. Several years ago I was introduced to Elemis, Bliss and their family of products. Very expensive, and some what effective, I could not afford to continually buy all the products recommended by a skin care consultant. I did give LifeCell a try. It took several days to recognize a difference, but I did indeed. Others noticed as well. Given the product is so expensive and that I do not like recurring charges on my credit card, I cancelled my automatic shipments. My product was nearly empty, so I saved what little I had not to use every day but for occasional use. I could tell an immediate difference in my skin when I stopped using it. It was not as bright, dewy, my dark circles seemed to reappear and my pores appeared larger. My makeup does not stay on as well without the LifeCell product. I can use the product once, and see a dramatic difference. Especially around the eye area. Some have mentioned in the reviews that the Lifecell dries their skin out. I seem to face this problem no matter what product I use. Exfoliating 2-3 times a week takes care of this problem for me. When I use LifeCell, I do not have to use any other moisturizer, products, etc. It does not irritate my skin in the least. Needless to say, I have decided again to purchase this product. It actually saves me money if I only use this product and nothing else. I tend to spend way more money in products trying to find something that will work. Whether the effects of LifeCell are long term or not, I am fine with temporary, so long as it works, and for me it does right now. I am extremely happy with the product. I am not paid by LifeCell for any reviews or testimonials. As a matter of fact, I now purchase my LifeCell on Ebay, because I can order when I want and there are no auto payments, nor recurring shipments. A little goes a long way. |

First, thanks for not beating me up. I am always so apprehensive about posting a neutral or negative message because the replies are frequently so terrifying. Some people have a great sense of power when they can remain anonymous.
I'm 60 and wish my skin was 40. Congratulations on realizing so early in your life what your skin is indeed you largest organ and must be treated with respect. I'm still so uncertain about my future with Lifecell. However, your suggestion about cancelling the automatic ordering and going with an individual and occasional purchase is OUTSTANDING.
Thanks again for everything, most of all your classiness in your reply. I think your suggestion of 2x weekly exfoliation and the occasional purchase of Lifecell is the way to go. Other readers should take heed and listen to this wise, however young, forum poster.
Best regards,
S. |

Not only did I not see any results with Lifecell - I found their business practices to be horrific - Nothing is a "Trial" - you will be billed first for shipping and then $189.00. Buyer Beware!!!!! |

My Husband bought for my birthday and have been using for only a week now, but have enjoyed the results so far, especially the instant-effect lifting serum when going out for immediate results when it comes to wrinkle lines. Looking and feeling 25 again for a 46 yr old is a great thing! Thank You Dermagist

Well the Lifecell marketing department is going over drive.
Sending their counter part to this forum and many other forum and telling absolutely false claim about their products and trying to convince as many people as they can.
They even have other men skin car forum in the overdrive about how great their product is.
I'm a 36 year old male and been told most time I look more like in my mid to late 20's.
I always like that comment, but I wanted to keep looking young and not too old. However it seems to me that this is far more important to women then it is to men.
And looking back on all the review of this Lifecell product.. It SCREAM of fake.
Or the effect will only work for 1-2 days at max.
Is really is an illusion. Which is fine if that what you are looking for.
However they claim you can replaced all the other product that is most like to have much much longer effect.
I hope everyone who have been scouring the web and found this post, hope they read all the replies and those wise words from the Old members and realise it is essential a waste to buy these products. |
