Antonia - you can still find vendors for the redbush and rose product on Amazon. (as of a month ago).

The African Black soap wash with Rose hips is very nice too. (my second favorite). The other that I love, lemongrass is actually a bath wash (shower elixer) and is a little stronger I'd say but I have oily skin and it does the trick.

The African bar soap has a higher level of shea butter in it and I use it too at times.

My favorite product is their Pink Guava Shea Body Nectar Spray Oil--it smells *amazing* (at least IMO). The delivery system is terrible though; I was hoping for a nice spray, but it comes out in a fast stream and splashes everywhere

I had the very same impression of the spray oil! No matter how careful I try to be, I end up with the overspray getting all over. I thought maybe a different spray top would improve it and switched theirs out for one that I knew worked well, but it didn't make a difference. I guess the oil was just too thick to be dispersed evenly. I have heard you can ask the company for replacement spray pumps, I am going to see if I can get one of their pump mechanisms to put on the original bottle. Thanks for the idea of the pump!

Hi Havana,

Have you bought the serum yet? If so, I love to see your comments.

Hi summer, Smile Not yet but after reading everyone else's comments (thanks for those!), I will probably order it soon.

Antonia, do you buy directly from Shea Terra? How is the shipping? TIA!

That's good to know that you can ask for a pump! I also tried a couple other spray tops thinking I just had a faulty one, but I think you're right that it's just too thick to spray. But in a pump? Lovely!

Does anyone use the Rooibos Vit E Reparative Face cream?
I am just loving it. It's lighter and fluffier than plain shea butter although it does have the Shea Nilotica in it.

I am not Antonia (wish I had her beautiful skin though!) but I thought I'd jump in here. STO's shipping time is nothing to write home about but that's because they continually keep running the awesome 30% sales and have garnered the attentions of many beauty boards. In other words, they have been swamped!! They have a small (but growing) staff with a real attention to detail. Because they use lovely glass bottles and jars (not always the most practical in life but very classy and pretty on your counter), they pay meticulous attention when they pack your boxes.
So, to answer your question, I would say two weeks is a reasonable average, but know that it could be a bit longer if something is out of stock.
Hope this helps!

Yes, I have used it for close to 3 weeks, I would say, and it does indeed keep my skin moist. I adore the fluffy texture of it. I use it under my eyes, as well, followed by an additonal pat of SN.

Love this thread! Would really appreciate itif everyone could post more feedback on products theyve used

I am loving STO products! I am currently using the rose hip black soap, makes my skin squeaky clean, the glassoul morroccan clay-really really like this product, the shea organic butter and the shea nilotica. These shea butters have made the skin on my body so soft and help get rid of the bumps i get on the backs of my arms and thighs.

I am waiting for my shipments to come - i have ordered the pomegranite nectar oil, markesh mint black soap, the shea gold, marula oil, rose water, and a few more products. Yes i have gone nuts but with the coupon discount it is hard to resist.

I would love to get more feedback on the baobab oil and the night nourishment oil. I have only been using the Baobab for a few days and am still waiting for my night nourishment oil to come. What results have you seen and how are you using it?
thankyou

Thanks, Bren! You are a mind reader.

I am also wondering if anyone from Canada has purchased and what the shipping charges were. Thanks again. Smile

I love their Rooibos Vit E Anti-oxidant Reparative Face Cream. I use it every night after my CP's. I also like the Black Soap bar, using it for the body during my am shower. I love the Rose Hips Black Soap (pump bottle) for a facial mask. Use that twice a week. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this on the chest and using the Clarisonic. Bad, bad idea. My chest is red and bumpy and has been for about 2 weeks. Having a terrible time finding something to sooth it as it heals. Oh my, I sure hope it heals, I do not look good in anything with a high neckline.

I am a fan of many Shea Terra Organics products. I use the night Nourishment serum over CP's a few nights a week and then I use the Rooibos Vit E Anti-oxidant Reparative Face Cream as a topper. It's very nice, not greasy, has a lovely feel to it and it's good to know you're using yummy things on your skin.

My recent favorite thing to do is to do take a drop of the night nourishment oil (serum) and combine with CP's night eyes and use under my eyes - no wrinkles, wonderful feel, eyes look moisturized and fresh. And no uglies from the CP's.
I use Marula from STO also - it's one of my favorite moisturizing agents ever. I use this or Baobob the other times - morning or night.

Highly recommend STO and especially when they have the 30% off sales. They are enjoying a big fan base from other forums so their shipping has been very slow compared to other places. If you know that in advance you won't be upset. Plus products frequently run out and you wait for them. At least you know the products you recieve are fresh. As Bren says they come in very lovely containers and are packed well. It is a joy to recieve them and you get marvelous samples.

After reading so many great things about STO, I was perusing their site tonight to place an order.

So bummed to see the nourishment oil is out of stock and looks like you can't place order now (while coupon is still active) - which makes sense. Just bummed because that was on top of my list to try! Not sure how the Baobob oil is diff from the night nourishment..

I think I'll order the Rooibos antiox face cream to start and not sure what else.

May I ask the experts here - is the Black Soap I keep reading about only for oily skin? I have quite dry skin, so thinking this may not be for me..?

Any other recs for an STO newbie would be so appreciated!!! And glad to hear everyone is happy with their products from STO. Smile

bmanhas, CPs = Skin Remodeling Copper Peptides (most use the ones from Skin Biology).

I am interested in trying the Rooibos antiox face cream as well.

Skin Biology Copper Peptides (CP's) are available on EDS. A great anti-aging product and works perfectly with Shea Terra oils and the Rooibos.
I also recommend highly the Shea Nilotica shea butter (not scented - just the plain stuff). Use this all over your body - face too.
it is a hands down favorite on other boards.

The other oils are nice too - depending upon your skin type. My other favorites are the Night Nourishment Oil, Rooibos & E cream, The Ghassoul clay mask (but you can get this cheaper at other places and same quality and free trade).

I have skin that is more oily so for a drier skin type I'd suggest the Rose Hips Black soap liquid. Also the bar has a high amount of shea butter in it - which is fine for dry skin. I would not use it everyday but will work good as an exfoliating wash product. There is a number on the STO site and as I understand it being a small company - very helpful providing suggestions and customer oriented.

If it helps, STO has been running the 30% off sale monthly so maybe the Night Nourishment Oil will be back in time for the next one!

Also, the black soap seem to be one of those "your mileage may vary" type products. I have seen lots of posts from users on the QVC board who have dry skin and LOVE the black soap bar which has 24% shea butter (the bar has considerably more shea butter than the liquid black soaps, which I believe have 10%). Then again, some with even normal/combo skin have found it to be too drying. I know it's hard not knowing what to expect for your particular skin...but at least, it is a relatively inexpensive product (especially with the sale) and they will exchange for another product if it doesn't work for you. I will say that those who like the soap, seem to really LOVE it, if you know what I mean.
I have combo skin and the soap is working really in both areas of my skin. I use it 3-4x a week, and always follow it with one of the Shea products (Shea Gold is my current fave, but the Shea Nilotica is fabulous too).
Hope this helps!

I am totally going to steal this idea! I don't have the Night Eyes but I do have the first generation CP serum (gosh, my brain blanking out and I can't remember its exact name). Anyway, I love the idea of applying them together.

I was on Amazon website and noticed two diff STO face creams. I went onto the STO website and noticed they are not listed so am assuming theyve been discontined. Has anyone tried these creams? What is the difference betweeen these two and the Rooibos vit E cream listed on STO's web page?

* red petal red bush face cream
*rose hips rose regeration face cream

I've been using the Argan and Ghassoul bar as shampoo and surprisingly, I like it! It lathers very easily, cleans thoroughly, and I don't need conditioner!!!

I never thought I'd use bar soap on my hair, but there it is! It leaves my hair very soft and moisturized (I have extremely dry hair).

On the subject of oils, I have to say that my favorite so far is the Tsamma Melon oil. I have oily, congested, acne skin and this keeps it very 'clean' and decongests very well. It's the lightest oil I've tried so far and it sinks in very quickly.
