Darkmoon - I wish I had something close to that problem!!!
Here's a link to the anti-wrinkle pillows, I've wanted one for a long time.

Thank you for posting this! I didn't see the question asking for the pillow. Yes this is the one I use. It is really great because even if you mess up a little and sleep too much on your face, the pillow cloth is so satiny, that it really helps.
From using this pillow I went to having horrible vertical lines down my face to having none. Love it! |

I've been stalking that website for so long, I want one really bad. Its really no more expensive than any other high quality pillow. i've almost got my SO whittled down to getting them for both of us.
I'm not even willing to try to sleep on my back, its just not appropriate for some people. My knees and hips are killing me if I even try to, and I normally have no issues. And sleep apnea sufferers like my SO, its just out of the question, he'd choke in the night. |

Have you tried a nice, soft down pillow? That might help you not worry about having to sleep on your back. |

I've always been a side sleeper and noticed sleep marks on the side of my temple take longer to "plump out".
Severe upper back pain over the last month have forced me to sleep on my back because sleeping on the preferred side caused too much pain and pressure. I use 3 pillows to support head and upper back and arrange them so the neck is fully supported if I lean my head back. An additional pillow is placed under the knees to reduce lower back pressure. Yet a fifth pillow is placed on my stomach where arms rest. My current bout of pain originates from shoulder bursitus (sp?) ... the slight elevation seems to reduce pressure emanating from shoulder blades. Wow, I need more pillows!
It was difficult to fall asleep like this at first, but it's amazing how quickly you adapt when pain forces healthier positions for back and spine. Hopefully when this clears up, the habit will be formed. |

I've always slept of the firmest possible mattress as well as the flattest pillow (That's why the Save My Face pillow was not an adjustment at all), and I never have back or neck problems. The only time I get neck problems is when I am not sleeping in my own bed and am on a puffier pillow. Soft beds also give me back problems. The best sleep I ever get is when I'm sleep on the floor with no cushion.
I think it's supposed to be better for you to have a firm surface. Think about it... humans have evolved for most of their existence NOT sleeping on soft surfaces. |
