I'm guessing the reason you don't see much improvement on your face is because you've been using products for years on it so there isn't much need for improvement. However, like most people, we do very little for the rest of our bodies.

I wouldn't use hormone creams all over my body because it's too expensive, at least for me. I get very soft skin by using AHA/BHA lotions though.

Hi again!
The DIY cream is not expensive at all! Ovestin and progesterone with prescription about $ 15.body butter $ 20 and some $ for the vit E Capsules. Reaches for about 3-4 weeks. I've already spent much more for good lotions.

Countries with socialized medicine get prescription meds much cheaper than we do here. Americans essentially subsidize the rest of the world, thanks to Big Pharma. I just paid $45 for 30ml of estriol cream and $49 for 4 oz of progesterone cream from Whole Foods.

Oh yes, you are right - I forgot that! And yes, this price is not really affordable. Here in Austria I get estriol and progesterone together for about $ 15 with prescrition.

I was wondering if anyone has used the Khiels deep wrinkle cream which has copper peptides? I'm a bit nervous to start using it as I heard that copper peptide is a remodeling cream which you have to continue using forever, and some people have bad experiences where their skin gets a lot worse. I already bought this cream but haven't used it yet as I got nervous reading some reviews.. Anyone tried this?

You don't have to use anything forever. At least you will be ahead of the game when you stop.

Go to the SkinBiology website. It tells you how to use CPs. Most people with bad results don't use them properly.

it's such a relief to find this thread - i thought i was the only one with this problem. My thighs dropped overnight on my 56th birthday!! I'm 60 next month, have always taken care of myself and like the rest of you, have exercised for years and keep myself slim so this is really depressing. I've been putting 19% Hyaluronic acid on my upper arms and legs for about 3 months now and i've seen some improvement but it's marginal. I'm on HRT patches so i'm not sure if i should also add hormone creams to the mix but it definitely sounds interesting. Please keep us posted to let me know if it works. Thanks Very Happy

I must admit that 4 months ago after the menopause started I noticed I was getting crepy underam skin and was horrified. I tried creams and a mix of tretinon as suggested on here but not much difference . I bought a vibrating plate to tone my body and noticed a bit of difference but by far the most amazing difference and that has completely got rid of it and I only began it a week ago is ...... Calanetics- the original 1hr programme. It is hard work but it totally works. The creams are nice and smell nice but they didnt change the skin . Calanetics did .
