I'm using the CLEAR toner in regular strength.
I'll try to let you know how it goes. |

I'm using the CLEAR regular strength system and I love it!!! I can't say my blackheads are gone unfortunately, but no more adult cystic acne. I am so happy!!! My skin hasn't looked this good in a long time!
My blackheads are smaller and easier to extract. I've been using this for about 3 weeks. |

fitgineer,
It sounds as if you're also using the salicylic acid toner. Could you please comment on that product specifically? |

The toner (or exfoliant, as Paula calls it) is probably the only product out of the 3 in the line that I can't do without it. The BP treatment I use occasionally, and the cleanser I use once a day. I know it's the toner that helped my skin exfoliate and thus eliminate cystic acne. The other two products helped, but without the toner I wouldn't be acne free. |

Thanks. Which toner are you using, the regular one or the extra one?

Thanks a lot!
How long have you been using it? Does it take to a long to see the effect? I think the CLEAR system is for acne. They have some professional products for treating blackhead. Have you used the latter ones?

EDS does not sell this line. Where do you purchase the products except for its own online store? Any other Canadian retail sellers? |

When i started having trouble with my skin (see my isotrex thread ), i started looking into Paula's products. Unfortunately they've done nothing for my forehead (the bha perhaps 'managed' the problem if nothing else), which is where my main problem has been. BUT, and there is some irony here, before i had this problem on my forehead it was clear - the only problem areas i had were around my jaw and on my chin. After some sample trying i settled on using the moisture boost one step face cleanser and her 2% bha lotion. I maybe had a week of adjusting but if i'm being honest, i don't think i've had a blemish anywhere below my eyebrows since June. I've maybe had one or two, but they literally stay for one or two days. I just use the cleanser, the bha, and then some emu oil. I don't think my face has soon so good (eyes down). A bittersweet victory, i suppose. |

SusieQ,
Which Paula's Choice products do you use? |
Hi Veronica, sorry this is late getting to you. I alternate between the liquid 2%BHA and the 8% alpha hydroxy gel. I've been using these two products for several years. Love it, love it. |

Has anyone used her body lotions with BHA / AHA before? I have those little red bumps on the backs of my arms and apparently they're quite useful for those. My sister used two of the BHA sample though and got nowhere at all... |

I recently purchased samples of both of these products.
I don't know if I asked you this before, but how did it take for you to see results? |

With the BHA probably about a month of using it a few times a week. The AHA I used more to keep dry flakes off my face. And that worked almost immediately. |

I have been using the aha lotion for a few months. It has helped the bumps on my arms a little, but they are not completely gone. They reccomend the bha for getting rid of those bumps though. I've read through the reviews & it seems like many have seen an improvement in the bumps, but not everyone. The aha lotion has made my skin so incredibly smooth though! I used it every day in the beginning, now use it a few times a week & it seems to do the trick. I am definitely going to buy this product again as there is nothing else like it & have seen great results in the texture of my skin.
I also use the resist super retinol serum, resist aha- both 10% weekly tx & 5% daily, and the skin calming toner. I tried a sample of the bha lotion on my acne prone chin, but it didn't seem to really make a difference, so I will be sticking to the resist products. Since using these products my skin has been so smooth.
Another great thing about the company is they have great service & if you aren't satisfied you can return the product (I can't remember if you get a credit or refund though). |

I wasn't sure where to put this but thought here was as good as any seeing as the bha i have is from Paula...
Can you build up resistance to bha? Her 2% has kept everything below my eyes clear since last July but all of a sudden i've had a few under the skin pimples appear over the last week that are exactly like what i had before i started the lotion. I've got a bit worried.... |

Hi. This is my first post!
Lala 27, I wanted to tell you that I have had those horrible little bumps on my arms as long as I can remember. A few months ago I started taking 1500mg of lysine daily, and it has helped more than anything else I've ever tried. You can barely see or feel them now. Hope that helps. |
