You described it all very well, thank you! In reading some of the reviews I had seen the primer and brush mentioned so I wanted to clarify.
Hopefully, it comes in soon and I cannot wait to try it.
I am going to go this weekend to Ulta to test out the CC and see if I can find a
match. |

Im finding I like IT CC in "Light" better than "Medium". Im around a MAC NC20 for reference but that varies from week to week lately. Sometimes lighter or darker depending on what Im doing to myself! Once I was taking beta carotene and ended up a pumpkin face. That ended soon.
I still like the ByeBye Undereyes in "Neutral Medium" tho ... its lighter than most "Medium" shades and has a sort of glow to it to reflect light.
ByeBye Lid Lines didnt really do much for me, except keep the shadow on longer, but it also made my Chanel shadow harder to blend, so I didnt like it.
I love the Lip Liner in "Blushing Nude" - I only wear it and a sheer gloss for a natural look.
Its a nice brand Ethel and thanx for the heads up. "HotandFlashy" did a review of it on her YT channel and rated it "Best in Show" for all the CC/BB creams last year IIRC. And her skin is acne-prone like mine, so Im encouraged it will not make my skin a hot mess. *fingers crossed* cuz its a nice look. |

Well my local Ulta did not carry it and I am still waiting for my Bye Bye redness which is delayed due to weather.
I will try to find another Ulta that does have it in stock. |

I feel you Annie! My local Ulta doesnt carry the IT brand so I drove 45 miles to the next town to their Ulta to try it, but they were out of the colors I wanted!
The website says you can return anything w/i 30 days with the receipt but thats such a hassle. |

| AnnieR, in the meantime, if you google, there may be photos of the CC cream swatches online. It's not ideal, but it may help. Also, I found the hotandflashy50 youtube video on the CC cream, and she shows swatches of two shades. She is using the medium herself, so you can at least compare your skintone with hers. |

Got the stuff in finally to try. A little goes a long way and it did cover pretty well. I just had my regular MU Forever foundation over it but I am looking forward to getting in to try some of the CC in person.
Thanks for the I saw the swatches but I think I want to try it before I buy it this time. I have a Marc Jacobs I just bought that turned orange within several hours, ugh. |

Finally got in to Ulta to try the CC cream but ended up buying it anyway. I usually like to wear it a few times to see how it does but they do not give out samples there. The sales girl said "Well, we are not Sephora", haha. Love it.
I bought the shade in Light and it is perfect. It looks like it runs more to the ashy side than orange, which is why I was not a fan of the Clinique BB cream.
It really does melt into your skin and blends in well. I would tend to say it is more of a light to medium coverage than full on me but I use it sparingly.
I can see it is going to be great for summer.
Now I just need to try it over the redness cream. |

The CC cream is my new absolute favorite. I love how it makes my skin look and the shade just blends in so well. First time I have had a foundation that makes my skin look and feel better just for wearing it. Better than any BB cream I have tried.
The Bye Bye Redness creme not so much so I ended up taking it back. It was too dark and slightly on the orange side. The just makeup didn't cover the color well enough to counteract the darker color and it made it look "masky".
That said, I found that with the CC cream, I didn't even really need it. |

Can anyone compare the Fair and Light shades for me? I'm not likely to make it into an Ulta store soon and wanted to order this online.
I'm fair/pale, blond and blue eyed, with neutral tones. I do not do well with yellow tones in makeup. I saw some reviews that Light has some yellow tones, but I'm afraid that Fair may be too light.
I realize its hard to advise someone via the web on foundation colors, but I'd appreciate any comparison you can provide on the two shades. |

You coloring is very similar to mine. I tried both the Fair and light. The Fair had more pink tones but was just a tad bit too light for me. The Light is perfect and a tad bit more on the yellow or "grey" side which counteracts my red tones perfectly.
The salesperson in the store said she bought them both and mixed them together and it was just right. And although she had a discount, that ups the price. But it does last twice as long! |

Thanks Annie. I'm going to go with the Light. I watched the review from HotandFlashy as well and I think it should work (fingers crossed). |

Other things I like from IT:
•Hello Lashes mascara.
https://www.itcosmetics.com/hello-lashes
I use this OVER my Tightline mascara to add more volume. Its not a crunchy mascara and its not waterproof but it really does increase the thickness of my fine lashes, whereas Tightline lengthens and gets at the roots of the lashes to line the eyes while priming the lashes.
•Brow Power Lift.
https://www.itcosmetics.com/brow-power-lift
Is a highlighter pencil with a pearl pink and a matte rose end for adding lightness to eye area or bow of lips or blurring a line. Not really anything special but its a nice idea and not a "frosty pink" Barbie Doll highlighter. Sort of blends in and disappears but gives some glow.
Things I DONT like:
•Je Ne Sais Quoi® Vitality LIp Blush Hydrating Gloss Stain.
https://www.itcosmetics.com/vitality-lip-blush-hydrating-gloss-stain
A very goopy gloss and this color is like that "Mood Lipstick" from eons ago that changed into a hidious fuschia color on most everyone. In the shop it looked ok, but then when I check again at home it had morphed into a garish purple-pink shade that was not flattering. I looked like a drag queen! No offense to DQs but Im a more subtle girl!
•Dual Airbrush Concealer Brush
https://www.itcosmetics.com/dual-airbrush-concealer-brush
Nice brushes but the contraption falls apart when used. The caps dont stay on tightly and fall off in your bag. |

I agree Fawnie, about the lip gloss...I don't mind a goopy gloss, because goopy tends to make lips look fuller, for some reason. However, the color is, to my eye, exactly like Benefit Benetint, or Tarte Cheekstain in Flush, and both of those shades are too cool pink for me.
However, if that shade works for someone, this product really does leave a color stain that lasts all day, even through eating and drinking.
So, I'll fess up, I'm getting kind of obsessed with It Cosmetics. I tried their highlighters. Now, first and foremost, I don't usually like highlighters because the highlighters I've tried have both accentuated pores and fine lines, and frankly, look a bit disco-ballish for my taste. I even avoid "glow" type foundations, for the aforementioned reasons. I've never tried one that wasn't too shiny or sparkled, or otherwise unflattering.
I like natural looking makeup, so obvious shimmer and glimmer on my cheeks is usually not for me.
That said, WHOA, I love these highlighters! By some sorcery, the Hello Light Anti-Aging Cream Highlighter and the Hello Light Powder Illuminizer managed to create a very natural glow on my skin. NO shimmer, no sparkles, no sheen...just a soft, barely-there radiance. LOVE them both.
Of those two highlighters, I'd say the powder is a smidge glowier in effect, but it has a natural skin tone color base that I really like. It's imperceptible when applied to my skin. Very natural. The cream is less obvious, super super natural, and perhaps a bit more pink/tan. Both look amazing on, and I actually used the cream on my eyelids, lightly, for a natural glow. I'm sure I'm not supposed to do that, but whatever. It looks ethereal.
There is a third highlighter called the Airbrush Illuminizer but it is too light for my skin tone. It's a loose powder, and it does have a very natural glow, not a shimmer. Very subtle. You have to turn your face around to catch the light before you can even see a glow with either of these three highlighters, which I like.
Needless to say, I'm buying the first two highlighters. |

I had to give up on YSBB. It contains the 2 silicones that make my skin have acne: Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane
What a shame, since it does have a lovely finish.
Giving up the Foreo, this CC cream and everything else with those 2 silicones has returned my skin to normal again. yay! |

Fawnie, would you please tell me more about the lip liner?
I'm thinking about the lip liner as an all over lip stain (I don't line my lips). My hope is that it will stain my lips, so I can wear a clear gloss/balm over it---and have the color last.
My issue with the other IT lip staining glosses and balms is that the lasting stain is always the Benefit Benetint color, that won't work for my skintones. No matter what the color of the gloss or balm, when it wears off, the stain is the same Benetint shade. Too cool toned for my complexion.
Do the lipliners actually stain the lips, and if so, is the stain the same as the initial color of the liner?
Thanks, Fawnie! |

Sorry Ethel - late to the party!
I use the lip liner that way: all over to stain the lips then apply a clear gloss (Kim Kardashian) over it. I use Blushing Rose IT liner and its a kind of warm rose color - not the BeneTint cool rose that you described so well (I hate that color too).
It doesnt last like a true stain would but it gives a natural looking color with some depth when used with a clear gloss.
Actually Im just liking the nude lips look now and sometimes use the KK gloss alone - its very glossy and makes the lips look luscious, sorry OT. |

What do you think of the CC Cream and the Tightline, Shasta?
I think their ByeBye Under Eye concealer and Tightline are their best products really. I sent the CC Cream back with the explanation that the -siloxanes made my skin a mess and they accepted my return - so they have that in their favor. |

I'm liking the CC cream so far, but I've only used it once. The color is a perfect match. The foundation brush is really nice. I've never used a brush for liquid foundation before, just sponges.
I'm still trying to figure out the Tightline. Managed to make a mess earlier trying to press it on as an eyeliner. For those of you using it, do you put it on before or after your eye makeup? |
