Yes, but it comes from teats just like milk. So the image of teats shouldn't be so off putting really, unless you also have a teat problem with dairy.
I have breast fed two children, which gave me a whole new appreciation for cows and their teats. |

I have no children, which probably explains a lot, lol. I am just going to IGNORE where it came from and just think "all natural skin stuff" instead. |

Me too, mine never had a bottle - and colostrum is nature's "Staff of Life" it gives new born's all the anti-bodies and nutrients they need. Whether cow's colostrum will do a thing for our skin, I don't know - although there are some promising studies on PubMed. But I'm going to continue with it. |

I do think we perceive them a bit differently after breastfeeding our own, I did with all four of mine! |

You used to able to buy colostrum from cows in the milk section at my health food store in CA. I think it was sold for a couple of years until the FDA came in and confiscated it off the shelves. They said it wasn't pasteurized and you could not sell it. It wasn't just a mom and pop dairy that was providing it. So if someone lives by a farm you still may be able to get some if you are so inclined. I have no idea if it would work the same. Just a thought. |

I have also seen powdered colostrum online where people mix it with water and use it as a mask. |

I'm using this in my morning shake. I'm also using the Sequel Colostrum Cream on my neck. It does look a little better - I think I needed the moisture there. I don't use a moisturiser on my face and we are having an unusually cold winter, so I think my neck was very in need of the extra moisturisation. So anyway, I'm swathed in colostrum from the inside out!! Mooooo!!! |

At least you are seeing some improvement! Now if you see large brown furry spots, horns, or an udder start developing, some adjustments may be necessary! |

Still waiting for the colostrum to be delivered. I continue to be very happy with this line due to its ease of use, lack of irritation, and not having to use different A and C products. The products are also very lightweight, which I like.
Since I typically work 70+ hours a week (sigh), I have only been focusing on my skin in the evenings. But here is the program I am going to try and implement 2x day...please note that I am using up some non-Environ stuff that I already have on hand.
Mon-Sun AM:
- Cleanse with whatever is closest (non-Environ)
- C-Quence Toner (let dry)
- C-Quence Eye Gel
- C-Quence Level 3
- Lumixyl (using this up)
- no sunscreen because I seldom leave the house during the day as I work from my home office
Mon-Sat PM:
- Cleanse with Olay Facial Wipes (or whatever is in shower)
- C-Quence Toner (let dry)
- C-Quence Eye Gel
- C-Quence Level 3
- Nia24 Rapid Depigmentation Serum (using this up, and flushing limits usage to evening)
- Body Cream on hands/arms
- A,C,E oil on hands/arms over Body Cream
Sunday PM:
- Retin A (primarily for exfoliation purposes for hyperpigmentation)
I will also be tackling an aggressive dermaroll in the next few weeks! |

I hope this continues to work for you Bethany.
What are the main things you are looking to accomplish with this line? |

Basically optimal levels of A and C to support my dermarolling efforts, with minimal irritation and redness on a daily basis. |

Bethany, how long have you been using the Environ now? And, do you feel your skin is looking healthier?
ETA: I ordered the Colostrum gel and the C-boost a few days before I let the Reluma bug bite me. I will definitely add Environ back in after my trial with Reluma. |

I started on May 25th, so it has been 7 weeks.
I went through a period a few weeks in where my skin seemed a bit drier than normal, but that has passed and my skin seems pretty hydrated now. Plus no irritation, redness, or pimples at this point. I would also say that my undereye area looks a bit less wrinkly. |

Agreed! I think I am going to do 2 bottles of level 3 and then go up to level 4. |

Hi bethany, the c-quence gel is pretty powerful stuff. When Environ says progress up the ladder, I take them seriously now. I started out with the c-quence level 3 and it was too much for me. I figured if I used Retin A then this would not be a problem. You are doing the right thing taking your time.
I received my tosc order today. It sat in my hot mailbox for two hours. The temps were around 100 degrees. Not much I can do about that. I just hope it hasn't been affected in any way. |

Pack, I just ran out to check my mailbox after reading your post...nothing from TOSC, but I will check mid-day tomorrow to try and avoid heat damage. But let's just assume yours is ok!
I am glad to hear that I am doing the right thing by moving up slowly...I started at Level 2, and probably could have avoided some redness if I started at Level 1. Now I want to make sure that I am fully acclimated to 3 before I move up again. |

Definitely agree on moving up the ladder slowly, and agree you are doing it right, Bethany. The AVST 3 was too much for my skin after having been off Retin A and topical C for a long time. |

I've been reading a few articles regarding heat and beauty products and I have decided a few hours in a hot mailbox was probably not too bad. Besides, you really don't know how much heat your package was exposed to before it arrived at your house.
Here is one of the articles. It's not the best resource for information. But, it helped me not be so concerned. http://www.temptalia.com/will-my-skin-care-products-go-bad-if-left-in-the-heat
Can't wait to apply some hot and sticky colostrum gel to my face. |

Thanks for the article! I'll be interested to hear what you think of the colostrum...still waiting for mine to arrive! |

I noticed some of you talking about Colostrum. Has anyone had success and good results with mixing their own Colostrum face cream or serum from Colostrum powder? |

I am experimenting with it. Started about 5 weeks ago, but it took a while to get some idea of how to use it in a sensible formula. Too soon to talk results. |

Pack, you weren't kidding about the C-Quence Level 3 being strong stuff...1x day combined with RA on Sundays has left me a peeling, red mess! I am dialing back to every other day and no RA until the irritation calms down. |

I know I saw a mention of this somewhere on EDS, but for some reason, search as I might, I cannot locate the post now: What online retailer has the lowest prices on (legitimate, real) Environ products? I need the Environ Ionzyme C-quence line. Thanks!! |

Ethel, I order my C-Quence products from Touchofskincare.com and have been very happy with their shipping speed, prices, and quick response to my questions. A number of us use them and we are all in agreement that their products are definitely legit. |
