Hi Smile I ordered some SuprSun from Premium Minerals. Someone had mentioned they use it over their Recovery Minerals. That's what I was planning to do use it with.

This product contains Mica. I googled Mica and read that it can be a skin irritant for people with Sensitive and Acne skin. So I was wondering if anyone uses/used that contains Mica?

Thanks Smile

It depends on how much mica is in it and if it's listed near the top of the ingredients (which would mean it has a lot).

You can try it and watch for reactions.

Hi guys, I received the Acne Serum today, as Dr. Huber seemed to think that the acne serum would do good for the texture of my skin, considering I do not have acne.

Anyways, how do I use this?

Do I apply it the same way as the 302 Drops (on a wet face) or do it use it on a dryy face? I know I only use a few drops on the "off" days (no 302 Drops the same day) but I have no idea how exactly to use it.....Wet/dry face? Use on the entire face or only problem areas?

Hi Skincare Junkie!!! I just ordered the SuprSun as well as Oil Away. They are both amazing!! I have sensitive/acne prone skin and both of these feel and look great!! The Oil Away keeps me oil free for hours longer than anything I've tried and does NOT clog my pores. I got the pebble shade of the SUprSun and have been able to skip my MMU altogether!!!

Hi Amy,

I purchased the Acne Serum as well, but I haven't used it yet. I believe you apply the serum wet just like the other actives.

I know the Acne serum is very strong. When I can start using it I was told only to use it once a week. I believe you can use it like a spot treatment.

Everyone is different, so I can't be sure how much you need. If you purchased your products through Jennifer just give her a call. Smile I know she'll be glad to help!

I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Thanks SCJ....

I actually called 302 today and I promise I think it was Dr. H. that answered the phone.....Maybe not, but he sounds like he writes.....I am pretty certain it was him, but if he isn't in the line anymore, than maybe not....(I really think it was though)

Anyways, the "person" at 302 said to use it on a dry face....Also stated it was okay that I did NOT have the mist....He said that was not a problem.

He did stress how strong the serum is and to only use it once every 7-10 days, dependant upon the individuals skin, of course.

He stated that there probably would be some "pinking" of the skin the next day, but that was normal and it may be a little flakey and dry.

Hi Lilmiss!

I'm glad your enjoying your SuprSun! I haven't tried mine yet. That's great that you can use the SuprSun instead of your MMU! I ordered the translucent version because I'm very fair. I will have to try tinted version if I like the product. Smile Take care Very Happy

Hi Amy!

Sorry I told you the wrong way to apply the serum. Now I know to apply it to dry skin!

I'm glad you were able to talk to someone from 302. Maybe it was Dr. H. Smile

Anyways let us know how the Acne serum works for you! Take care Very Happy

I can't imagine anything so potent you could apply it only once every 7 to 10 days.

MentorAmy, did it feel strong on your skin?

I will begin the c boost early next month. I am waiting for a breakout to clear and for a vacation to come and go. Jennifer instructed me to use the c boost about three times a week. I have used very potent non-302 products with no irritation, so I am trying to figure out why these products are to be used so infrequently. Are they that strong? If so, in what way?

TIA.

Actually back when I used Retin-A or high quality retinol products, I found out that I could NOT apply them more than once every 7 to 10 days or my skin would peel ferociously and blotch red. In fact it would still peel even if I only applied once in that time period, but it was at least reasonable and didn't make me look like I had a hideous disease.

So it doesn't surprise me that the Acne Serum could be that potent!

[Are you trying to address specific areas, that are "problems" or are you using 302 as part of an ageing regime?

Are you re-introducing the drops or have you previously used them? Have your results thus far been good?

Hi Amy,

I haven't been approaching my 302 use with a specific problem area so far. It's more been wanting a general skin care regime that suits my fair skin type.

Right now for anti-aging I think more of keeping my face from getting too much sun and keeping up with my yoga and eating plenty of greens, vits, etc. But, any anti-aging benefits of 302 are of course, wonderful!

Since I started this in Feb I've had to focus more on finding a MMU that is a good match, getting used to the different type of application (vs liquid foundation). That took time. I feel that I need the coverage due to broken/visible capillaries. Not sure how those can be best fixed in my case so for now I cover them.

I started right off with the 302 drops since I hadn't used acids before. Then after a few months I added C boost. I restarted on Friday and tend to play it by ear as to how often I use the actives.

My results at @ 7 months are primarily a better "feel" and texture to my face and virtually no breakouts (prob due to not using liquid foundation). I rarely broke out before but with the new products the only blemishes I can recall were 2 micro-mini clogged pores when I first started and prob appplied too much 302 drops in that area. I'm careful now to get them lightly and evenly applied.

So, yes! Good results and I got a compliment on my skin Friday which was nice. ('Smile')

I honestly do not think it was bad, at all! I got no pinking, nothing....I did only use a small amount, so when I apply it next time, I may use a little more, just to make certain I am using enough....I will keep you guys updated....

ETA: Remember all of our skin is different so we all will not have the same effects, etc......I have NEVER used acids or harsh products on my face.....I was actually expecting pinking, a little peeling, etc., but as I stated....nothing....that doesn't mean it isn't working, I suppose......I just didn't experience it.....I will be adding the C Boost in my routine, while still uding the acne serum, when I fifnish the 302 Drops....that is what Dr. Huber advised me to do....He said start with the 302 Drops and then add the Acne Serum and if it is well tolerated, then when I have an empty bottle of the 302 Drops, then start the C Boost and when I am done with them add the 302 Hi Potency drops....all through this he said to continue the Acne Serum...I will try to find his e-mail to me on his recommendations for my problems....and I will post it here..

Eh.. I think SuprSun might be a no no for me. I used it today and yesterday. I looked in the mirror and noticed my chin is staring to break out. I've also been using the Recovery Minerals under the SuprSun. If SuprSun is causing me to break out I suspect it may be the Mica. I'm not really sure if it's causing me to break out or not.

Any thoughts?

Hello
I am trying to reach Jennifer at 21st but it seems that my emails are not going through or something. Did anyone else have this problem?

If some of you are in contact with her, could you maybe be kind enough and mention this to her (I would not want to call her all the way from Finland where I am..)??

Thanks in advance,
Marja.

Hi Marja,

I'm sure Jennifer will get back to you! She told me sometimes she gets behind on her e-mails. I e-mailed her on Saturday and she hasn't got back to me yet. So don't worry I'm sure she'll get back to you!

I must have too much time on my hands lately, but curiosity got the better of me with the questions raised about the mysterious background of avocatin 302 and Richard Huber, so I spent half an hour or so doing some creative googling. For those interested, here's a summary of what I found. Please correct me if I'm wrong about anything, as I was skimming through web pages very very quickly ......

Via an agreement dated 1 July 1995, rights to the avocatin 302 (Huber/Counts) patents were acquired by Reliv International (an MLM company which sells health supplements, sports drinks, etc), with Richard Huber to provide consulting services to Reliv. At that time, 1995, Reliv was marketing several avocatin 302 based skincare products, eg, Reavo, Reliv Face & Body Bar, Reliv Pathway and RP1.5. I note the July 95 agreement pre-dated the patents - whether or not that’s significant? The patents at the time were reported as being Reliv’s patents.
http://www.allbusiness.com/medicine-health/diet-nutrition-fitness/7147345-1.html
Couldn't quickly find the actual whole 1995 agreement online, although it may be there, but there are references to it and its contents in the later agreement below.

In 1997 another agreement was reached between Reliv, Avogen Inc, Conkle & Olesten, and Richard Huber. There are many links to this agreement online, even though clause 5 supposedly requires non-disclosure.
http://www.secinfo.com/dNEM9.7e.b.htm

I just glanced over it, but it would appear that thereafter Reliv no longer had "exclusive" rights to market avocatin 302 - and Huber, etc, could develop and/or market their own lines in addition to Reliv continuing to market its existing products.

Reliv no longer appears to sell avocatin 302 products – at least I saw no mention of such on the Reliv website. Whether avocatin 302 products are still sold via multi level marketing methods (AKA network marketing), I have no idea, as I couldn't easily find any online references to the licensing rights after the 1997 agreement, and I'd had more than enough of google by then.

Finally, a link to an (undated) Australian government report, relating to an application by Reliv to import avocatin 302 into Australia. The full pdf doc may have some limited tech info for those so inclined.

http://www.nicnas.gov.au/publications/CAR/new/NA/NAFULLR/NA0200FR/NA257FR.pdf

Hope this info is useful, and that’s the end of my little research project...

Hi ladies, quick update here. I found out that Hazelnut Oil & I do not get along. Was contributing to pimples, same for my icky liquid foundation.

I spoke to Jennifer about my pimples and also skin peeling (nose and chin) and she was a big help. She said its because my skin is not liking something I am using. Needless to say I stopped using the oil & foundation and my skin is better. I definitely was clogging up my pores, oppps.

Anyway, I got the Eye Firming serum and really like it. It's very lightweight and does indeed give a bit of an instant lift. On Sunday I want out with little makeup on and got complimented. So something's working here. Smile

Hi Whitewolf,

Thanks for writing! That's too bad you've been dealing with breakouts. The good news is you figured out what was causing them! Smile

I've been using the Eye Firming Serum for about a month. The serum has helped to get rid most of my Mila.

It's always nice to get complimented on your skin! Take Care Very Happy
