Thanks Bethany. I would like to use their products with the A,C, and E as per Dr F. I do an intensive roll with the 1.5 mm about every 2 months and I try to do a .2mm roll every morning so I'd like to get the most bang for my buck. I don't believe the B-Active line uses these actives. Maybe use my Retin A every other night to keep my acne at bay and the Environ products the rest of the time?

That sounds like a good plan to me!

I was the other person who was going to have an Environ facial, it never happened unfortunately!

My skin was a bit dry and scaley after a bit of an episode with green cream so I have been afraid to try any thing else new. It took ages to settle down, although it is fine now.
I also can't justify the cost at the moment, think I might order the AVST 3 or CQuence 2, not sure which one to try.

Does anyone use the Environ Retinol 3 to boost the C-Quence? I'm thinking about trying it. I'm also thinking about the Colostrum.

I would start with the C-Q by itself first...it is stronger than you might think!

I like the colostrum, but having been using it long enough to see any benefits yet.

Bermie, if you can easily get AVST, I would sart with that, and then work up to C-Q.

Just an FYI that I am liking the colostrum...I think it may have reduced some of the redness on my face. However, you have to let it dry completely before layering anything over it, and even then it can make your other topicals feel a bit sticky. I ended up using it by itself in the morning, and then using the C-Q3 at night.

And guess what I ordered...the Focus Frown Serum. Shock For the price, it had better perform a miracle. And of course I will let you know if it does or not, lol.

I really like the colostrum gel too. I layer it with my C Boost. Environ actually suggests this. The colostrum sinks right into my skin and the stickiness goes away quickly. My skin looks great the next day after using it. I like the Environ products so much, that I wouldn't mind using them exclusively. The only other things I use are Retin A and CPs. Although, I am really tempted by the Stem Cell products.

I am pretty much using only Environ...I haven't seen any benefit from anything else at this point.

I am using up my Nia24 Rapid Depigmentation Serum over my C-Q at night, and do still use RA once every week or 2, but that's it. I tried AA (good post dermaroll) and RL (hated the smell) so Environ is my staple at this point.

I don't think I'll be repurchasing the Colostrum Gel - it balls up with my other products (even with oil).

Just saw this on the Environ facebook page and thought I would post it here. (I bought the C-boost and Colostrum gel from the Touch of Skincare site. I had not used the Colostrum, but I have used the C-boost and that seems to be the same product I bought from an authorized seller?)

Riley, I think TOSC does violate the Environ rules by selling without an in-person skin assessment. And they clearly buy from an Environ supplier in South Africa based on the products that they sell online. I think Environ posts that list because they need to show some support for the vendors that do follow the rules, but if they REALLY wanted TOSC shut down, it would have been shut down long ago.

But do I think that the TOSC products are authentic, and will I continue to purchase from them? Yes and Yes.

But for someone who wants a skin assessment and to be able to return products if necessary, they are better off finding someone local. Unfortunately for me, there is no one local!

That makes sense to me. I also think they are legit products. The products I got from them came from the UK and they had the Environ seal.

I purchase my products from Ebay - I believe them to be authentic.

I think this situation is a little odd. Obviously these sellers are able to purchase the products without a problem - why shouldn't they be allowed to sell them? I'm not sure I understand Environ's stance on this. If the products were fake, well that would be another issue entirely.

I am guessing it comes down to them wanting to be exclusive to spas, etc. (Probably to keep the price up!)

Here is the policy:

Quote:
Due to the unique nature of our products, they require face to face consultation with a trained Environ professional. This is why we do not sell our products through the internet or mass markets. We are devoted to the success of you, the skin care professional, and the appearance of your clients' skin which is why we focus on referring clients to your business through our dedicated client service department. Environ is serious about skin care. Our partnerships with our trained skin care professionals are vital to the success of our brand, therefore, Environ is only sold in a professional environment where consultation and skin analysis is carried out by trained skin care professionals.

From a marketing standpoint, this is designed to keep pricing at consistent levels. TOSC is skirting that, which is why the big distributors don't like them...they take business away from other sellers, and can cut costs because they don't have brick and mortar overhead expenses.

But the "unauthorised" sellers must be purchasing the products from Environ - so why is Environ selling to them. This whole situation gives the impression that the "unauthorised" sellers are purchasing from "unauthorised" sellers themselves!

The unauthorized sellers are most likely purchasing from an authorized seller, who gets a nice cut of those later unauthorized sales! But I doubt they are purchasing from Environ directly.

I agree that the products are authentic and they work great for me. I am glad I can purchase these products from TOSC. When I first started ordering from TOSC a few years ago, the products were shipped from South Africa. That alone, gave me confidence that the products were genuine. I guess Environ figures it might be able to scare a few people away from purchasing from TOSC. That won't work with us. Smile

I have returned from my Environ facial and wanted to post my thoughts - I know there are a few other posts re:their facial with the ionzyme machine and would like to add to that information.

I quite enjoyed it! It was 1.5hrs, with the 'procedure' being the various cleanses, extractions, a buffered lactic acid peel (I have a bit of hormonal acne and a few pigment spots and the peel is thought to help with this), a vitamin C + some sort of serum (cannot recall the name!) with sonophorisis, then the mask with galvanic treatment.

While the mask is quite thick (and it was applied over my eyes and lips) I didn't find it a negative experience. Someone said they left their facial with dry or dehydrated looking skin and I wouldn't say that...though you don't leave with greasy, shiny skin either (they didn't apply a thick cream or oil at the end.)

My skin feels plump and refreshed, and my PIhyperpigmentation is not aggrivated. I enjoyed the facial and liked the results enough to purchase a series of 3 at a 20% discount. I plan to go 1/month and will post my thoughts at the end of the series.

I still use (and very much enjoy) my AnteAge serum, and had emailed Dr. J about adding in the Environ to increase the Vit A and C as my skin gets used to it. His response noted that one can certainly add other products in to boost the retinoid and Vit. C effect, and that they often recommend adding or continuing retin-A to your skins max tolerance, and therefore yes to added A & C.

Cheers

An FYI for those of you into dermarolling - I forgot to add that my facialist did tell me a few clients bring in their personal dermaroller so she can roll their skin before the Vit C and other serum is applied with the sonophorisis.

Myamax, I glad you enjoyed your facial and very jealous....there is no one in my area that offers Environ!

And that is a great idea with the dermaroller, though that would probably ruin my relaxing spa experience, lol.

Bethany, how long have you been using the Environ now? And, do you feel your skin is looking healthier?

I started on May 25th, so it has been 7 weeks.

I went through a period a few weeks in where my skin seemed a bit drier than normal, but that has passed and my skin seems pretty hydrated now. Plus no irritation, redness, or pimples at this point. I would also say that my undereye area looks a bit less wrinkly.

I am at 13 weeks of using Environ now, so wanted to weigh in with an update.

I am still pretty much using my Environ products only 1x a day, but my skin is definitely looking pretty good. Any redness is typically self inflicted (using Nia24 serum periodically, dermarolling, etc.), which is an improvement over the early stages of using the products (and not starting at the lowest level as recommended).

I am not seeing any improvements in pigmentation, but am not surprised by that at this point...I have had some spots that may have been "cooked into my skin" by Fraxel, and they may never go away, sigh. But I have been happy enough with the other texture improvements to decrease my Retin A usage down to once every 2 or 3 weeks.

At this point I am going to continue with the C-Quence 3 through close to the end of the year, and then upgrade to C-Q 4. I am not sure about repurchasing the Colostrum...still on the fence about that. I did receive the Frown Serum today, and will report in on that in a couple of weeks.

Ok I want to see about getting some of these products but I have a question. I want to be able to use these with the ReAura laser. Of course ReAura says to not use Retin a or Vit c during treatment. I think it is more a cya. I have started back on Vit c with no problem but not RA on the areas I'm treating at the moment. So the question is, is the Vit A in environ going to be a problem like RA?

Next question, are people still buying from touch of skin and how long does shipping take in the US? Which products would you guys suggest I get?
TIA

I am still buying from them and am very happy with their service. They seem to be shipping from the UK right now, and it takes 2-3 weeks to get to the US.

Retin A does increase sun sensitivity, but I *think* retinols do not (or definitely far less), so that would be good for you.

Both the Original A+ and C-Quence lines have both A and C already in them. AVST is also a good line, but TOSC does not carry it. (they seem to only cary products for the South Africa market)

http://www.touchofskincare.com/environ-original/environ-skincare-original.html

http://www.touchofskincare.com/environ-ionzyme-cquence/environ-skincare-ionzyme-cquence.html

Alternatively, you could buy the separate Intensive Retinol and C-Boost products, but it looks like TOSC does not carry the separate Intensive Retinol (I would write and ask if they can get it anyway).

I'm looking at getting the Ionzyme C-quence 3 and
C-quence eye gel.Do I need to get the EssentiA body oil if I'm going to dermaroll with big needles or can I just use the C-quence. Do I need to buy anything else. I'm not big on moisturizers because of my oily skin. Is their moisturizer heavy?

Also is anyone buying from a Dr. office? Is TOSC that much cheaper. The main distributor is in LA and I'm sure they have some Dr.'s in the area.
Thanks for any help.
