They charge World Express shipping $35, which is crazily high. I talked with John, and he said that's the only shipping option they're offering. So sad. Shipping just kill the deal.
Is there anyone who wants to get accessories in Vancouver? Maybe we can share the shipping fee. :P |

| I like my VISS so much that I just used the 50% discount to purchase extras of the hair removal and rejuvenation lamps as well as the protection plan (extended warranty). Have only had my VISS for about 3 weeks so I've only used it a few times but hair removal and skin results look to be on par with professional spa treatments I've had in the past. I'm hooked!! |

.. hey.... i want to share my experience... about this device...
i got this product since september 2010, the process has been succefully... but i have a little bit of follicles that still have not been disabled.
At this time, I have depleted one hair removal lamp (totally burned, the flash got very dark and not flash it anymore). I bought 2 additional lamps. .. But i think that the Device has been lossing power, since the remaining hair has not been removed, and before when I zapped my legs level 4 was the maximum that I used to handle, Now on level use level 5 or 6 and my skin doesnt even look red or anytinhg..
Is it possible that the VISS IPL device (not the Lamp) would be losing power?
adding that each session is not effective as before |

LOL. Agree... but I still bought it and decided I would stop buying new clothes, purses, and cosmetics for a while. I've always worried about my endless hair, so I feel it's worth it. |

I used the promotion code and I'm so excited for my Viss!!!!! I've been struggling with facial hair since I was a teen and now after trying everything, I'm going to give a try to this device!!!! I promise to keep you all post it!!!!!!
PS. My decision of buying a Viss was mostly by reading your posts, because the posts in the Viss page seems to be sorth of a little bit exagerating.....
I hope this device can help me in my condition of PCOS!!! |

I there, i really don't want to take you this happyness.. but you need to be realistic in this PCOS issue.
PCOS is an hormonal disorder, that it is natural to be treated with hormonal pills. This kind of problem has the secondary effect of increase follicle activity.
What I want to tell you is this... Viss WILL work, but it wont be long lasting results, because follicle activity will be constantly activated by PCOS. Maybe for being hair free permanently you will need some hormonal treatment.
I don't want to you be negative on your issue, just want you understand and realize that every laser/IPL hair removal treatment won't be permanently if you have PCOS. you might have better results in terms of time combining with hormonal pills.
Best regards |

I know this is not going to be a permanent treatment, but I'll willing to use it insted of waxing or tweezing which is very painfull. Thanks for your comment, but I know that my condition is not going to help much.
Thanks Portland.... |

Hi guys, I was just thinking of purchasing this product, but after reading mixed reviews im not sure. I know people seem to post reviews if a product is bad, but not many people come back online and talk about a product if it is good, therefore i'm just not sure how reliable this product will be..
As well as this, I know the lamp lasts 4000 flashes but how many treatments do you think that will be? I'm doing my underarms, bikini line & legs. do you think i'll be able to finish the treatment with the first lamp? or think i should purchase the extra lamp? |

I did not get clear if you already bought it or you are going to buy it.....
I would give you my opinion. I bought this machine on september 2010... and.. yes.. it works... my hair growth and been sooooo much reducted.... but .. not gone.. I have been applied about... 5 treatments...
I stopped using it because i want to try it using it with carbon dye....
When I wanted to buy an IPL device, VISS IPL was the best choice in terms of power fluency 21 joules per square cm and lamp lifetime. (its the energy to the hair follicle)... BUT NOW.. YOU GOT ANOTHER OPTIONS.
I always tought that I make the best desition chosing VISS, but now there is a new IPL device, RIO IPL 8000, with 19 joules per square cm fluency and 320,000 flashes lamp lifetime.... All I can say is.. if this device could been existed before... maybe I did not haven chosen VISS...
I think that most important thing on home IPL devices is the energy fluency what means effectivess, and lamp lifetime what means costs.
When a seller tells you that the lamp lifetime is 800 flashes (like silkn sensepil), they are telling me that they just want my money, because technology avaliable today is enough to make a better lamp than this ridiculous toy)
Another thing... im my opinion "not everthing that shines is gold", no always the most beautifull device is the best.
If you got more money i would recomend you the IPL600, since has 132 joules per square cm, but it is much more expensive than VISS and RIO IPL.
More energy not only means more epilation, it means more effective phototermolysis, it means more long lasting results, and less sessions. I can tell you that because when you use a low fluency device the hair falls out anyway, but on 5 weeks that follicle is growing hair again, i mean it just slows down temporary as you are using the device. If you leave the process, the hair grows just like before, and you need to start again. That's the difference with more powerfull machines. AND THAT'S WHY THE SELLER GIVES YOU A MACHINE WITH LOW ENERGY AND LOW LAMP LIFETIME. More money for them.
so think wisely your purchase.
resuming you got 3 options:
(best Home devices)
1.-VISS
2.- RIO IPL 8000
3.-IPL600 (more expensive)
I'm not a seller of any of these brands.. im just preseting you my experience.
best regards |

So, I've gone and done it.
My 30th birthday marks the beginning of (hopefully) a new me, without unwanted hair.
I put the order in for my Viss a few minutes ago.
I hope that it will be one of the best purchases I've made.
I will post back with progress. |

2 questions
- Why would you possibly rate the RIO as better than the Viss if it has less energy? Is it based on the 10x number of available flashes?
- Have you done any research into the IPL600? I havn't but when I punched it up on google it came back as being manufactured by that company that sells all sorts of at-home laser/epiliation devices that end up burning/scarring people and not working. Maybe this is a better quality product than the rest of their lineup, I don't know, but knowing who makes it makes me very leery about it. |

| I just thought I would make a note not to trust the "customer" reviews on VISS's official website. Before purchasing it two months ago, I read its reviews, along with the "Oh just checking to see if they actually post bad replies" reviews. When I first checked, they had 40 reviews, then later, 45. I then noticed the reviews are now down to 30. So, they definitely delete reviews, including some of the unfavourable ones that I had noted. That being said, on myself I have noticed some hair reduction (about 3 out of 5 hairs on average have grown back) after 4 treatments so far(i have coarse hair and pale skin). But at the same time, buyer beware, because they are definitely not being 100% honest on their site, either! |

I agree they do "filter" their comments for spam or whatnot but in regards to deleting the comments I have not seen that happened since my post was about a shipping complaint ants its up there. THe reviews are by country so if you select "International" at the top there are 55 there now... But if you go to slect "United States" there are 33.
As to my VISS experience I'm too new to tell but it certainly is working... time will tell but from what I read on here others have had long term results. *fingers crossed* |

CassieHk, thank you for the discount codes. I bought this yesterday with an extra hair removal lamp and a skin rejuvenating lamp. How is it working on the freckles?
Has anyone tried the skin rejuvenation lamp? |

Wow i am so happy with my 50% discount. It saved me a lot. I ended up buying 3 hair lamps for friends, and my skin lamp. I am so glad some of you took the chance and enjoyed the discount too. I even got free express shipping. Don't know how?? The option was just there. I looked for the free shipping when i originally bought the unit, but it wasn't available until i purchased just the accessories the second time round. Maybe freight is only free on assecories and not the unit. The free Freight was super quick and only took three days.
When trying the skin rejuvenation lamp i put on the gel(that came with it), set the unit @ level 5(as the book suggested) and away i went. I found it hotter then the hair lamp, but not as painful. Afterward i put some of "Kassy's Vitamin C serum" and aloe to heal. Which did sooth the redness and made me feel nice and smooth. Plus vit C is great for reducing freckles. But stay out of the sun.
I have only started testing however will keep you posted on my results. As for the hair lamp, i have only done two treatments and found some hair reduction and slow growth. |

| I noticed 2PS has two kinds of skin rejuvenation cartridges. Yellow lamp : 430-1200nm; Blue lamp : 300-700nm. But the VISS skin cartridge is a red one. I'm not sure about the range of it...Is there anyone knows the difference between these cartridges? |

You could see this in the instructions guide.
best regards
It appears that VISS decide to include both wavelenght in one. |

Hi there!
I i'm recently used the photorejuvenation lamp at level 7... yes 7!
I had the same effect has the professional IPL photofacial, I end with a mild sun burn pink all over my face. It does sting a little, but no hurt. I feel life I have done a ver very mild peel, because is the same sensation of very tight skin.
After 2 days some areas with flekles did peel...
I had a downtime for about 2 days... but now my skin it's like porcelain!. I cannot believe it..!... My skin looks normal, i mean no big spots or anything, but the sensation to touch it's awesome, very very soft skin.
Something wierd.... After the treatment I washed my face and I smeel like burn skin... haha...
I really recomend this IPL for photofacial, I got rid of my redness under my eyes, nose, a little bit of hyperpigmenation due to blemishes on forehead....
I love this, I have to change all my make up routine, because I used to wear lot of makeup everyday, but now I use very very light foundations and only for parties and all that. I can feel good now going out at the light of the day without wearing anything!
But! no everthing is perfect!, I can feel that my skin now es more sensitive to sun, So I changed my sunscreen from 15SPF to 60SPF, I strongly recomend you to do the same. I mean yesterday I was about 3 hours under the sun with 15SPF, and then some told me.. hey you'are red!.. Nothing to get into panic! but my skin now irritates with sun, that is beacuse I used not to wear any sunscreen.
My dermatologyst recomended to me the Vichy fluid 60SPF, with mexoryl. 3 times at day! if I go out!
So remember you guys and girls, if you are into any IPL treatment, you MUST use sunscreen, its an order!

Portland, that is SO exciting. I can't wait to get mine. Did I understand you correctly? It got rid of redness and hyper pigmentation from acne?
I got a notice from the company yesterday saying that my rejuvenation lamp may be delayed by 5-7 days due to the earthquake in Japan. The lamps are made there and they are having a delay in getting them. I can't bring myself to complain considering the circumstances. |

Yes... hyperpigmentation of acne!.. those hatefull brown spots after the inflamation.. it's dermatology known as PIH (post inflammatory hyperigmentation).. but not acne scars from cystic acne! ( fortunatellly I dont have it)
about the earthquake.. of course no one can complain!... I'm from Chile so I understand them soo much .. what is to see that your country is getting wicked! caos everywhere! an people desperated for water and food.. I lived that!

| Hi everyone so on March 18, 2011 I purchased the IPL hair remover and IPL hair remover disposable lamp cartridge both for $570 since I had a coupon for $50 off. I specifically made sure there was $570 in my bank, well I checked my bank statement today and I come to find out that I was charged an addition $4.56 for some transaction fee that I was not by any way aware of. This $4.56 transaction fee made me overdraft since like I said I only let $570 in the bank since this was my first purchase online I was a little spectacle. Did anyone get charged for a transaction fee? I live in Oregon. |

Yes, I did. I used Citi. I bought some accessories recently using Discover. There is no transaction fee charged till now. But it's in the mid of billing cycle. So I'm not sure if I'll finally get charged. |
