I received my Environ Mild and C Boost. I have been using the Mild for about 8-9 days at night. It's ok, does not spread very well, I definitely need a moisturiser after it. Have had a few small red bumps appear on one side of my cheekbone/temple area?

Started the C Boost about 3-4 days ago. This is quite nice, but I have a pimple on my jaw today, I never get pimples, so, could be these new products. I really wanted to try these, but so far I can't say I am terribly impressed. I will try to stick with them but hope I don't get any more pimples or bumps.

Anyone else have this problem starting these products?

Bermie, maybe start one at a time? Then maybe you can isolate which one is causing the problem.

I did start the Night Mild first about 10 days ago now.

and then started the C Boost about 4 days ago, I know not enough time in between to be sure!

I woke up today with lots of red quite sore spots, they dont look like normal pimples more of a bit of a reaction? Mostly high on cheekbones and temples. Not impressed at all Sad

I think I will have to stop them for now. I am sick of this. I am so reactive lately. I don't know what to be using.

Bermie, it sounds like you might need to take a break from everything for a bit, except maybe a super basic cleasner that doesn't irritate your skin. Have you done any peels or acids in the past that could have compromised your skin barrier?

It might also be hormones....I have been using the CQ3 with no breakout issues since the end of May. However, I just broke out in 3 mega zits and it was definitely hormonal based on the timing. I'm 46, and can tell that my hormones are changing these days and I just have to go with the flow, sigh.

Just weighing in on a couple of Environ products....

The Colostrum has possibly reduced some redness for me, but not enough to repurchase. Especially since it seems to cause products layered over it to ball up.

The Frown Serum is not effective on it's own...I am now trying it after using the Focus Cit, but unless you are willing to needle before you apply it, don't waste your $$$.

Just an FYI that I am seeing a smoother forehead after using the Frown Seum in combination with the Focus Cit. Hoever I wonder how much is due to the serum and how much may be inflammation from the daily needling. We'll see how things look a few months from now.

Riley, do you know how long the needles are on the Environ cosmetic roller? It didn't say on TOSC.

Bethany, this is the info I got on the Roll-CIT:

There are 108 needles 18 rowx 6 needles per row. The needles protrude 0,2mm, The needles are solid steel and are 0.3mm in length with a tapered point so that the section that goes into the skin is about 0.15 in diameter.

Thanks! Do the needles seem thinner than on the Dr. Roller models? The ones on the Focus Cit are practically invisible!

So I just received my Environ CIT cosmetic roller, and it is TOTALLY a different experience than rolling with a Dr. Roller or Owndoc penetration roller. The needles are practically invisible, and produce much less inflammation and redness for me...a very good thing since the typical .2mm rollers leave me red for more then a day. Shock I am cutting back to CQ2 and hoping for less redness than I was seeing with CQ3, though it seems like it might be the same with the addition of the roller.

I will keep everyone posted!

Cookie, I am traveling this week and did not bring it with me, so I will update you the following week.

But I can tell you that my face was not red at all this morning which was a pleasant surprise.

Hi, just got Environ A mild night and c-boost last week and have used them a few times while doing my ReAura treatments. My initial thoughts are that I like both of them especially the texture of the c-boost. I am surprised because I tend to only like serum kind of products because of my acne/oily skin but both of these things sink right into my skin. My skin tends to be drier while using the laser so that might have something to do with that.

That being said I do have 2 pimples that have shown up it the last 2 days and one is a big one.
I will have to keep an eye on this because I have been doing really well lately with my acne and if these products are causing the problems that will be the end of that.

I am in the US and placed an order with TOSC over three weeks ago. My order has still not arrived and she has asked me to be patient until 10/24.

Anyone else have this experience?

Thanks, BFG

It is the Environ A Mild Night and C Boost that I have too. I have not used them since my reaction, or whatever it was.

It cleared within about 24-36 hours of stopping. I hadn't done any peels (someone mentioned this, Bethany?) I am really afraid to try them again, but guess I will have to give it a go or else it really is a waste of money. I used the Mild Night about a week and the C Boost about 3 days?

I have been using Paula's choice Retinol serum and find it ok so far, at least no reaction from it. I will be so disappointed if I can't use these Environ products.
By the way I tend to have dry skin, never get spots.

BFG I am in Australia, my order arrived in about 2 weeks?

Hi barefootgirl, I'm in the US and it took a little over 3 weeks to get my order. I might order from the distributor here next time because if the c-quence product only last 6 to 8 weeks that doesn't leave a lot of time to decide whether you like the product or whether it is going to work for your skin long term before you have to order more so you won't run out.

My package of CQuence 4 and the newly formulated body oil arrived the other day.

I tried CQuence 4 for the first time last night. I previously ordered this product directly from Environ and have used it before.

I am sorry to report it doesn't appear to be the same product. The product I received before from Environ was slightly thicker and definitely much tackier.

This new CQuence 4 from TOSC is thin and watery, no discernible smell or tackiness.

I hope it is the same formula Sad

I have not opened the bottle of oil yet.

Hi BFG, I have the Cquence 4 from TOSC but haven't opened it yet. I am almost done with Cquence 1 I bought from a retail location. Will let you know next week when I open it whether they are similar.

Cookie, I will be very interested in your findings. I was going to order from the eastern distributor (no local options in my ares, sigh), but will wait to hear your feedback.

I have some vacation time coming up, and may actually travel to Orlando (2.5 hours away) for an Environ facial. Shock I suppose I could take my products with me and see how they compare. (Riley, if I do we are meeting up!!)

I thought many of us were in agreement that the products from TOSC were authentic. It would really bum me out if they were not. I guess this warrants further investigation. But, I still think the products are genuine. Hopefully, I am not wasting my time and money. I used the C-Quence line two years ago. I did not like the texture of the product at all. It was tacky and left a shine on my face. Could it be that the C-Quence line has been reformulated? It is troubling that BFG's new bottle of C-Quence 4 does not have the same texture.

I opened the Cquence 4 (ordered from TOSC)today and compared to the Cquence 1 bought at a retail location and they are a different color. They Cquence 4 is thicker and both seem to feel the same on the skin (slightly tacky). The difference in color and thickness could be accounted for by the different strength of actives. The packaging seems identical. I think they are both "real" Environ products but have not been using them that long and have never bought the same exact product strength from TOSC and the distributor to compare.

Just an FYI that I am still loving the Environ CIT roller. I really likes the Environ stamp, but it ended up leaving stripes in the areas that I stamped. Sad Fortunately the roller seems to blend things a bit better.

A couple of things to think about:

- I would not recommend purchasing the Environ Frown Serum unless you are prepared to use a penetration roller. It just doesn't work that well without the needling.

- If you are not prone to inflammation, I think the Dr Roller or Owndoc .25mm roller is fine for penetration rolling. But if you are prone to inflammation like me, the Environ CIT roller is worth the extra money in hopes of avoiding collagenase.

Hi bethany, does Environ state an exact length for the CIT roller? I am considering this roller. I did a cosmetic roll with Owndocs 0.25 roller last week and it took three days for the redness to completely go away. The Setterfield guide suggests a goal of seven days a week. There is no way I could ever do that with the redness that I am getting.

I don't think you have to worry about collagenase constantly peaking with a cosmetic roller. According to Setterfield, this can happen when using a 0.5 mm - 1.0 mm roller too frequently.

Just an update on the Environ original A mild night. I bought this to use on the nights and next morning after using the ReAura. Unfortunately it is causing me to break out, so it's a no go for my oily skin. I will use it on my chest and hands to finish the tube. I did like the texture. I will add back in the c-boost to see if I can continue with this using it.

So far no problem with using the C-quence 4 or the c-quence eye gel.

Pack, it is a .2mm roller and I think the needles may be thinner than the owndoc roller which I also have.

I am not sure about the collagenese, but ongoing inflammation is not good so I definitely do not want to overdue the penetration rolling since it does cause some inflammation for me. Sad

Oh no! How disturbing! From now on I will purchase my Environ C-Quence 4 from the distributor nearby. I am angry to have paid full price for a fake product ( bought my C-Quence 4 from TOSC and you may recall I reported absolutely no redness from using it, even though I STARTED with level 4!!), and I may now pursue this with TOSC. Grrrr!!!!

Hello everyone

We were recently invited to post here and are happy to help where we can.

With regards to the Ionzyme Cquence range - please remember that Ionzyme Cquence is made fresh to order on a weekly basis. Consistency can indeed vary due to the active ingredients and seasonality and especially between Ionzyme Cquence 1 and 4 where the concentrations are significantly higher.

We are proudly an independent retailer and are fanatical about Environ. We would not be where we are today without all of your support.

If you have any queries or need any product assistance - please feel to contact us directly at info(at)touchofskincare(dot)com or visit our Support section online at touchofskincare(dot)com

Kind regards
