You see, lots of people name the Cellcosmet eye cream as most overrated - for me it was one of the best skincare products ever... (and the eye area is my biggest concern) |

Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream
I used it back in Summer 2004 and it did absolutely nothing for me. The only thing I liked about it was the scent. |

THE MOST overrated product I've ever tried is City Skin Detox treatment by Murad. It's supposed to be a vitamin C regimen to use at night. It retails for $125.00! Thank god I bought it on ebay and only spend $30.00. I used it faithfully every night until it ran out [3 months] and saw absolutely no difference. Had I spent the full retail on this hyped up detox treatment, I would have been truly po'd
Another somewhat overrated product is EpidermX II - I've read many of the great reviews on this forum and really wanted to like it. I loved the smell and feel of it but can't say I saw any astounding results and don't plan to repurchase. |

no more breakouts. PSF, silk powder, Janson Beckett, Cellbone, NIA24 are staples. |

Another ditto to the Cellcosmet eye cream. Thank god I just got the sample size. Also I was excited to try Alpha Derma CE after reading all the positive reviews, but it did nothing for me. |

For me it was IS Clinical Active Serum. I think Diacneal kicks it in the butt.
Also PSF Stimucoll-C..my young eyes never looked so old!! |

I love the Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream to a certain extend. I love it when I got samples of it but I don't love it enough to pay for the whole bottle. I guess I am cheap
I am using a sample of IS Clinical Active serum, its showing some good results on my skin but I am still on the fence whether to purchase a full size or not. |

Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream (don't shoot me, but I just don't get the point of this stuff)
|
Oh yeah--Dr. Hauschka stuff didn't really do anything for me either. I have tried the Cleansing Milk, Cleansing Cream, Rose Cream, Quince Cream, Moisturizing Day Cream, Firming Mask, Normalizing Day Oil, Rejuvenating Mask, Eye Contour Cream, Daily Revitalizing Eye Cream, Lip Balm, etc. etc. and have only liked the Rejuvenating Mask for calming and moisturizing my skin. But that's it. Everything else either clogged my pores, left my skin under-hydrated or just didn't do enough to justify the exorbitant prices. |

For me Prevage was overrated. It has ingredients that many people (including me) are allergic to. |
Also, personally, I found the ReVive eye serum & cream overrated. They're fine, but not worth the price. |

PSF - HA Serum just does not work for me. I know it gets raves on this forum, but on my skin it's the worst stuff I have ever used.
Kinerase - this gave me wrinkles. Go figure!! |

In addition to these already posted:
Dr Haushka cleansing cream
Skin Biology copper peptides
Revive products (all)
I will add--
Squalane--this is a sure fire way to create cystic pimples for me. I can't figure out why it's a staple emollient of the Ice Elements line. |

The most overrated product that had me struggling and battling with acne for more than One year and a half was Purity by Philosophy. Resent purchasing it, probably my dreafullest purchase of skin products. |

I love my Dr Hauschka cleansin cream, I saw a big improvement in my skin after the first couple of uses.
These have been the most over rated products for me:
Maybelline great lash mascara
Best bath store acne treatment gel - did absolutely nothing and actually made some spots more inflamed
Dermalogica |

Cetaphil cleanser (maybe it's not that popular?) I just found that it never really cleaned my face. It always left makeup. |

Can I just say...Creme de La Mer! , I remember all the "hype" when it first came out & I was so excited when I got a tiny little sample pot. The SA made it sound like this cream was gold!...but it did nothing for my skin except give me horrible breakouts! Definitely overrated imo! |

I've only tried the eye cream, but I feel the same way. I must have had a bad reaction to the cream -- my eyes would get even more puffy and red after using it. I finally exchanged it for the cleanser. I do love the cleanser (it smells fantastic and works well for summer) but at $60 I don't think it's worth it. In winter it's a bit too drying. |

-Dr H products for me. The only one I like is the cleansing clay mask.
-Jurlique herbal recovery gel. It's not bad but definitely not a 'miracle'
-Decleor balms too.... |

StriVectin SD, PSF O2 serum, PSF browtox, DDF wrinke relax, DuWop Lip Venom (my entire lip area was inflamed!....maybe it worked too well...lol????). Those are the products i can think of for now. |

Kinerase is also really overrated.
In terms of moisturizing, they are pretty good. For "restructuring" however..they are awful. Did nothing but moisturize...and for this I'd rather purchase a much cheaper moisturizer. |
