I do not know what is causing that.I have used lumigan and have not had that happen to me. One thing I can tell you is that I use a very small amount.I use a skinny eyeliner brush-believe it or not Target and walmart didnt even sell one at the time so I went to Michaels craft store and bought a package of 4 skinny brushes for $3. Then I dip it in lumigan and shake it and I just barely touch the roots of the lashes, you only need the tiniest amount.Perhaps if you put too much on your eyes and skin could suffer irritation/discoloration.

Is anyone having problem purchasing from alldaychemist? It first said my first order was imcomplete and send me another one w/ different invoice number and asking me to fill out the user detail again. Then they send me another email saying that my original order was declined, which I called the bank and they told me there wasn't any order that went thru nor they declined any charges. Are they really legit?

A number of members on this Forum order from Alldaychemist on a continual basis (myself included) - to my knowledge, no-one has experienced any problems (except spam emails maybe). Try starting from scratch with your order.

I just came across this thread. Is Lumigan the same ingredient as Revitalash or JM Lash Age Intervention old formula?

Hi RUK1

Yes lumigan is bascially is the active ingredient used in both of those products. So it is the cheaper way of growing your eyelashes without buying expensive serums. However it makes eyelashes very dry, i know speaking from experience, it makes lashes super long but isnt as nourishing as the serums.

I luckily brought six large bottles off ebay, from a pharmacist that was going into liquidation, and they cost me about £60.00 a bargain!

Does Lumigan make the lashes thick or just long? I have long, but I need thick!

Mostly it lengthens, especially when you first start to see results. But you will also get new lashes growing in bare spots, which will make your lashline look darker and thicker. The thickness of your individual lashes remains the same, of course.

Lumigan lengthens lashes, but it does not produce more lashes, at least not for me. I have stopped using it for a little while because it does make my eyes a little red and I noticed I was getting a little bit of light hairy fur growth under the outer corner of my eyes! Shock Also, I developed a small patch of brownish melasma and wondering if the lumigan caused that.Boy this really sucks.I dont think I got this brown spot from the sun since I dont expose my face to the sun and always wear sunglasses too.Boy this beauty crap is always a tradeoff, yeah I have long lashes but I have a darkened area under eye and furriness under the eye Rolling Eyes Mad

Lumigan made me lashes mostly longer but it did make them thicker too with the new growth. I did find that my lashes have much less pigment at the tips, they almost look white, so i have to wear mascara otherwise the long length isnt noticed aginist my dark skin.

Yikes! Sorry to hear about this, lucyluc. I've noticed that sometimes there will be new baby lashes growing slightly beyond my lashline. I'm careful to apply the Lumigan to only my lashline and use a very fine brush, but I suppose some of it inevitably wanders a little. It's not a big deal--I just pluck the stray hairs, but it reminds me that this stuff really does stimulate hair growth and that I should be careful with it!

I am VERY careful when I apply it I use a 15+ magnifying mirror,I use a very small eyeliner brush, dip it and then shake it before I put it on and just a small amount, I geuss it will travel when you sleep. One day it looked like I had smudged makeup under my eye but when I looked at it under the magnifying mirror I realized it was hair...I cant bleach it cuz its too cose to the eye so I pluck it out.The small brown patchis not terribly noticeable..but still!

I orderd lumigan last week, haven't received it yet. I'm looking forward to it. I was using revitlash the original formula and just about to run out. Will the lumigan dry your lashes, cause revitlash made them look nice! I have the new revitlash and ardell maybe i should use those too with the lumigan so i don't get brittle lashes. alternate days or something like that?!

My first post here - I was searching for another subject & I ran across this subject & thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.

I was diagnosed with glaucoma several years ago & have been using prescribed Travatan ever since - probably about 7 years now. I use a drop in each eye at night. I started out with hazel eyes & they are now brown. It may take a little time, but more than likely, your eye color will change.

The good news - I have nice long lashes - top & bottom.

The Lumigan may or may not dry your lashes - different people have different experiences. If you find yourself having problems, I would certainly try alternating.

I've been using Lumigan for exactly 4 weeks now and I'm seeing noticeable length (not enough to be that noticeable to anyone else, tho, since my lashes were so short to start with), and no real problems with dryness. But I'm only using the Lumigan 2 to 3 times a week, and on the off nights I coat my lashes and surrounding area with just a tiny dab of either emu oil, or Skinactives ELS Serum. Hopefully this will prevent problems.. keeping my fingers crossed.

Tulsagirl, thanks for sharing your experience with us!

My understanding is that the eye color change happens to a very small percentage of people using these drops (my eye doctor said around 1% or less), and even then, it's only happened with people who, like yourself, are actually using it as an eyedrop. The rest of us are applying it carefully around our lashline - I actually use a small paintbrush from a craft store. I can't speak for everyone, but I only use mine 2 to 3 times per week. I'm sure there is SOME migration, but I'm not really concerned at all about a change in eyecolor.

Even so, I have been (and will continue) checking my eyes thoroughly and if I notice something, I will discontinue use. I'd rather keep my eyes blue even if I have to live with short stubby lashes Smile

Hi LucyLuc - Do you think the lumigan is working as well as other products you have used? I am still using revitalash but was thinking the next order to Allday chemist will include the Lumigan.
