Yeah, it's not hydrating enough in a dry climate. But, still I loves Dr Renaud anti redness gel.
I used to suffer from red flushes on my cheeks for which I just can't determine the trigger factor. It will just come anytime during the day and the redness looks like ugly rashes. Ever since I use this gel, I no longer have these erratic flushes. |

If I had to pick just one of the above for the rosacea, I'd say the cleansing clay. |
have to amend what i said - the intensive brightening cream, prob with the cleansing clay, definitely with vitamin c serum, is what has done wonders for my mild rosacea. |

What is your best cream or treatment ?
I have "couperose" problem. I really don't know how you call it in English. Apparent blood vessels on cheeks and nose.
I had 2 laser treatments for that. It improves a lot my condition but I still need very gentle cream. |

Hi,
Sorry about the link... I think it doesn't work because it's including the period at the end in the website address. Anyway, try again:www.mariobadescu.com and yes, it is very moisturizing. I live in the desert and it really is the only thing that makes my skin behave. |
Im glad the control cream works for you. It doesn't do much for me |

I tried the Avene Diroseal. It is green tinted and contains mineral oil high on the ingredient list.
I much prefer Neostrata Rosacure. It is available in Canada in the cosmetic section (previously pharmacy only). I paid $38.00 cdn for a tube. |

I have no result with Avene and Neostrata.
Finally I should say that nothing is comparable to laser intervention
I used Valmont Dermo serum and cream since a year and I do an annual treatment with laser (color pulse) and this is till now the best treatment.
Still open for other ideas |

I agree! I just had a second photofacial done Thursday.
By the way, I don't know if this line has been mentioned, but the NIA 24 line is supposed to be good for redness. If you go to their website, they have some good before/afters. I just ordered some samples to try. This will be my first venture into using skincare products to diminish redness. |

I don't know this line. I will go on their web site for sure. Let me know for your result. |

La Prairie anti-redness nuturing cream is a very good stuff, it is too expensive though. |
I tried this cream on the counter and it felt like food for my skin. I don't know how well it works on redness but the texture and the way it left my skin feeling aftrewards were great. Incredibly expensive though.
To go back on topic, I have mild inflammatory rosacea and I still haven't found my Holy Grail product for facial erythema. But i can tell you which productc didn't work for me:
Avene
La Roche Posay
Bioderma
Topical vitamin K
Vitamin K supplements
Dr. Sebagh's Rose de Vie
Finacea
Rocised
I'm still on the quest of looking for an effective rosacea treatment. I also had 2 IPL sessions done which are supposed to help but I didn't see any results on redness. If you have any luck with any of the products mentioned on this thread please keep us informed! |
