| I sometimes forget to apply it (fell asleep, too tired, etc). I get some results, darker lashes, slightly longer, but it is not spectacular like what I got from the glaucoma drug base application which irritated my eyes. I might try talika after this since this is a lot more expensive to keep trying. |

Yes, I am applying it faithfully every night. The only difference is that I use one brush for both eyes instead of one per eye (which I thought was overkill really). I don't know how much is left in the bottle. |

OK - week 7. I took photos this week and have compared them with photos from earlier weeks. And the verdict is - there is a difference! My hubby has also compared the pics and agrees that there has been an improvement. My lashes seem darker, are a tiny bit longer and look "healthier". Most significant to me is that the lower, outer corners of my eyes, where I have no lashes at all are beginning to sprout tiny, fair lashes. Now, I'm not getting too excited about all of this as it has been 7 weeks and the improvement is so minor that I never would have noticed it had I not been keeping a photo diary. However, I do like to see things through and I am intrigued by the idea of a drug-free eyelash enhancer. I have had no bad side-effects from Prolatogen whatsoever. So here's my dilemma - there is very little left in the bottle. Do I order another bottle and persevere? Or do I just hang on for the Careprost to arrive from ADC?? |

| wow this product sounds very promising...glad this was advertised on here when I was logging in...it went by so fast I had to use the back arrow button and wait for the advertisement to be shown..searched and came across this thread..so if I order this from here..there's no money back guarantee? but if I order from the PSF website there is a 30 day money back guarantee..they should offer the guarantee a little longer like 60 days..30 days is just 4 weeks and one might not see anything until past those 4 weeks..and then they'll lose out on getting a refund for a very expensive product like this one.. |

| EDS have a promotion on right now where you get the eye cream free with the Prolatogen. The eye cream is fabulous so it's a good offer. |

I am really tempted to try this, good offer on at the moment! I like the fact it doesn't seem to sting. I have only tried one other eyelash enhancer and couldn't keep it up, it stung like crazy. |

| Posylee, my dilemma is like yours. I do notice the difference, but a minor one. There's not a WOW effect. For $75, and the fact that it gets used up fast with very little improvement, I am not sure I will keep buying a new bottle. |

| Well I'm suck a sucker that I've ordered another Prolatogen. I would always wonder what would have happened if I didn't continue. In the meantime, the Careprost has arrived from ADC. I wonder if I'll be able to resist trying it for another few weeks. |

Well I'm calling it a day after 11 weeks of faithful use. The Prolatogen appears to have made my lashes darker and they feel stronger to the touch - more "springy" somehow, but there is negligible difference in length and thickness. I'll post a gallery of all my photos when I am more organised.
So I started on the Careprost last night - and if that doesn't work out for me it will be back to extensions. |

| Finally got those pictures together. You can see them here. Remember that I started the trial wearing eyelash extensions so my lashes actually seem to diminish initially. |

Thanks Posylee for the pictures. I didn't take mine, but my lash length is about yours. I still have a few drops of the prolatogen, so I use it every once in a while and will continue till it's gone. I'm not using anything right now.
How did you like extensions? They looked nice in the first week photo. I couldn't imagine how much nicer they would look when full. |

I love extensions. They are instant and make such a difference. The trick is finding someone that is skilled in the application. I've had fantastic results and bad results from the same salon just different therapists. So find someone who does the job well and stick with them.
The downsides of extensions - well they do seem to have a bad effect on the natural lashes. also, when I've had a bad job, I've become obsessed at fiddling with the lashes and picking them off - this tears out the natural lashes and makes matters worse.
And they can be pricey too.
I've not been wearing any since I've been experimenting with lash-growing products but may go back if I don't get the results that I'm after. |

I've been using it for about 6 weeks now and the difference is amazing. My top lashes are much longer and are starting to curl. I don't want to bog down a Prolatogen thread with Careprost stuff though so I'll PM you. |

I ordered the Prolatogen; I should receive it early next week. I have been using the Rapid Lash and have noticed some definite growth, but using it continuously makes me nervous. I'm really hoping to be able to incorporate a more natural product to use in between. All of the chemical lash products are so new on the market, that I'm always concerned about the long term side effects ... especially since some of them actually talk about the colour of your eyes changing. OMG - if it can change your eye colour, I'm staying away from that. I've never noticed any eye colour change with Rapid Lash and, while it isn't cheap, it isn't as much as the more expensive products.
I'll post my review once I've used it for a week. If I can only use the Rapid Lash once or twice a week, I'd be happy with that for now. |

I've been using the Prolatagen for the past 5 days. I had been using the Rapid Lash for a few weeks, but stopped before starting the Prolatagen. I'm going to use up the Rapid Lash on my eye brows, but have decided against continuing to use it on my eyes. I'm nervous about the possible side effects of long term use.
I haven't noticed any eyelash loss since stopping the Rapid Lash. The Prolatagen seems to be keeping my eyelashes moisturized. It is too early to tell whether I will experience any new growth. I have been using the same applicator brush for both eyes. While I appreciate the recommendation of using a new brush for each eye, I don't think it is necessary. If I had an eye infection, I wouldn't be using the product anyway. I do throw out the applicator after I've used it on both eyes. It is extremely gentle. My eyes don't react to it at all. There is none of the burning or stinging that I've experienced when I first started with the Rapid Lash. Also, my eyes feel fine in the morning. The Rapid Lash sometimes left my eyes feeling funny the next morning. When I opened them, it felt like the lash line was still coated with something. I was always diligent about really washing my eyes well in the morning. With this product, I just wash my face normally - I don't feel like I'm washing off a residue. |

oooh...I probably should have posted a review sooner but kept forgetting! I ordered this after my initial post on here after reading doodlebug's review. I'm really impressed with it! I was sold on the brush application because it's so much more hygenic, and I use one brush on both eyes which seems like enough for me since I have typical Chinese eyes (read: sparse to non-existant lashes).
After 3 wks I saw significant difference...well since I didn't have much to begin with! There was definitely more lashes on the top and bottom and they were getting longer!! Unfortunately, I didn't keep up with the product cuz I was lazy...I'll definitely get back to using it for my holiday prep! |

thanks for your post Kareberry. I've been using the PSF for over a week now. While I haven't noticed significant growth, I haven't lost as many lashes. I normally lose lashes when I stop using Rapid Lash. I haven't lost lashes like I did in the past.
It is definitely gentle. My eyes aren't irritated at all. |

| This is an older thread, but I wanted to add my positive experience with Prolatogen. After 6 weeks of nightly use, I see a visible (not dramatic) difference in length and some extra thickness. My own lashes are not too bad but I wanted to be able to go without mascara, and now I feel there is enough definition in my lashes to do that. |

| I tried another product and then had a break from any ... but I've started using this one again. I like it. Comparing my lashes to what they were when I was using it, they are definitely thinner again. I do think it makes a difference and is a good alternative for the chemical varieties. |
