Hello all,
I finally went to a dermatologist and found out the bumps under my eyes are not milia but more like calcium deposits or part of the normal structure of my skin. As I'm aging these structures are showing up. The doctor said everyone has them and in some people it shows up more than on others. The doctor said the only thing I can do is try and plump up the skin around it to help conceal it. So after that appointment I went to see the person who recommends products to help and I have some questions about the samples she gave me.
For the eyes, she gave me samples of copper and glytone. She said the glytone had some vitamin K (I have dark circles) and will exfoliate. I have Neostrata's eye cream that I think will do the same thing but without vitamin K. I tried the copper at night and didn't like the way area around my eyes felt the next day. She said I need to also use C under my eye but I told her I use Murad's Eseential C product during the day which she said would be fine. I didn't know however that a serum is absorbed better so I'm wondering if I should be using a stronger C serum under my eye.
For my face she gave me Vitamin C but didn't tell me who makes it. She gave me a moisturizer along with that called Orac that I have never heard of. I liked the Vitamin C although it feels oily going on. The Orac I thought was okay but nothing great. Has anyone ever heard of this?
I'm so overwhelmed I don't know what to do.
I want to use Vitamin C on my face so I think I will buy Vivier's product. I'm not sure what % to buy though in that. I have normal to oily skin, sensitive and fair. For the eyes, I'm really stuck. I just don't know what to use, when and in what order.
If anyone can give me advice paritcularly on what C serum to use and perhaps a good eye car regime I would so grateful.
Thanks so much!
P.S. Does anyone here have some sebaceous hyperplasia? I have some of that as well but they said there is nothing that can be done about it. I see that Naturalis has something that targets that but wasn't sure if it really works. Thanks! |

I have two sebaceous hyperplasia on my cheek bone and others on other parts of my body. You can have them cut out by a derm or PS. I would reccommend a PS. They can and often do grow back. Differin has helped with the two on my cheek bone. They are about 90% gone. I've never heard of Naturalis. |
