Hi everybody...i must share this with you. I was looking for some Yonka samples and when a called this place the lady, Brenda, said 'thats no problem. you SHOULD try some products before you buy them' I was impressed.
When i went to the spa, i found out Brenda also had the most gorgeous skin....But before noting that I spotted *drm roll please* cellcosmet boxes on the shelf. and later she said Cellcosmet ans Skinceutical is all she uses. she hardly believed that i had heard of Cellcosmet at all and said if you have used it you will never want to use anything else. But she is not using their moisturisers and said they are too rich for her at this age...she uses SC C serum and B5 gel and said this gave her the 'glow' while cellcosmet made her skin look healthy and gave it colour. Needless to say I was very impressed. She also had good prices for the products.(especially if you consider the retalail prices in Hong KOng) I will be going in a day or two for my Cellcosmet facial. She said all her friends are hooked on cellcosmet.
She really discouraged Yonka(said it wasnt strong, i think she meant potent, enough) and didnt let me buy Juvenil..she said to try creme 15 first and i could always buy juvenil, if i wanted, later. gave me some samples and said to please let her know even if i didnt like them. she wants feed back.
BTW she said it was important to use toner(i dont normally use one but i have a couple in my cabinet) since the water is not clean here in Hong Kong and said to use whatever i have at my hand and that any toner is better than no toner.
i will write back after i have my facial.(i am so looking forward to it). I was very impressed by the wonderful lady.

My esthetician here in Toronto is also wonderful.. she would not allow me to purchase products if she did not believe in them.
I like that. Knowing that a professional is willing to be honest with their client rather than just allow the clients to make their mistakes.
YOu found a good person have a great time at a spa.

Puja,
Could you please tell me the Spa's phone no. and address. I would like to try Cellcosmet/SC B5 gel, probably the best way is to have a facial done at the Spa. Thanks |

Mithai, Thanks for the information. I called the spa just now. The person answering the phone was very helpful and sounded quite knowledgable. Will pop in and check out the place and prices.
Out of interest, how was the facial treatment? Are you receiving facial at that spa regularly?

I’m glad you found an esthetician that is right for you, but I have one tiny disagreement with the advice she gave you regarding the Yonka products. Besides the fact that I love the Yonka line (next to Decleor, it’s my fave), I have to say that Juvenil is a more effective product than Creme 15 – especially if your goal is to spot-treat blemishes. And mixing a drop or two of Juvenil with your Creme 15 helps purge your skin of all the toxins and keep you blemish-free. Next time you visit her, ask her to give you a sample of Juvenil to try with your Creme 15. If you want to know more about how Juvenil works, check out product review/s by our resident Yonka expert, ChunLisa: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=5120&highlight=juvenil |

Actually she said to try creme 15 first because they have samples of that....but there are no sample packs of juvenil...I think Yonka doesnt make it....I could be wrong!
that said....since then I have got juvenil and while it seemed great in the beginning...the wonders kind of wore off a little and now the results are not as fast....this happened to anyone else? |

Aiya... I should have read this thread earlier... I've just bought into another spa salon for a a Jurlique facial package, which I hesitate a little because of the heavy break outs it causes me. |
