I've been waiting for EDS to carry this product. Has anyone tried it? This better be a miracle...unless the $$ is a typo error!!

OMG! And my DreamLash has run out - could this be fate?

This sounds really good, I'm so tempted to try it! My eyelashes don't look as good after five weeks of not using the Ardell/DreamLash combo while traveling.

I ordered this today from EDS. Seeing I won a very generous voucher from EDS I just had to try this item. I am now using Lucia and Ardell and love the results. Will let you know how Jan Marini lash growth product works. The picture on EDS is very impressive. Must admit if I did not win the voucher I probably would not have tried it because of the price.

Thank you EDS for the chance to try this product. Very Happy

I posted this on another thread but I forked over the bucks for this product too. Man, is it expensive!! (I am obviously desperate). Will post on results after I receive it...it's on backorder at the moment.

*cough* I didn't look at the price before - was too excited about the description. Well, this better be magic! If it works spectacularly well then I'm willing to get it Smile

I second that emotion! I’m going to hold on to my Xmas voucher and wait for Winnie and “Crazy” to report back on their results....

Also, I have a favor to ask anyone who is trying it: please post a list of the ingredients so I can see if there’s some other miracle ingredient I need to add to my homemade lash growth serum experiments!

Oh my! Shock That is expensive isn't it? Laughing

The description ... and visual is very impressive ... but I suspect it's too rich for my blood ... er I suppose I mean eyelashes! Laughing

How are you coming with the Dr. Holland's version of the Ultimate Lashes, Carekate?

Mary

Well, it's relatively *ahem* cheap at EDS at $144 cdn. It's listed at $160. us. at skinstore. If it wasn't for Jan Marini's excellent reputation (and products) I'd swear that *after* picture looks like the girl's wearing mascara. Eh?

I thought the exact same thing! Let's hope it's just a figment of our imagination....

I also felt like the only thing accounting for the difference is the use of an eyelash curler. This lady looks like she probably has lashes but they're the ones that go straight down and therefore can't be seen well in the "before" picture. Again I hope that's not true either.

No matter how good it works, that is too much money for me to spend on an eyelash treatment. I rather indulge my mask fetish. Wink

Ditto. I have a hard enough time justifying the Lucia.

Just wondering how everyone who ordered the Lucia is liking it? And how are the results in comparison with Dreamlash and/or Ardell? Thanks!

I know I replied on the Ardell thread concerning JM Lash. Last report I saw no change in my lashes. Remember, I have been using Lucia and Ardell for several months (very pleased Smile ). The past few days I must say I do note that my lashes are appearing thicker from the nightly treatment of JM. Little hair in the corner of my eye (close to nose) are emerging. I sent the ingredients to Carekate. It was noted that there was nothing too unusual about the ingredient in JM that would make it worth 140.00 US dollars. Will keep you posted on my progress. As of today I do believe JM lash is giving me added thickness. Shock

For those of you that are reading my report for the first time, the only reason I ordered JM Lash from EDS is that I was the lucky winner of a voucher in December. Very Happy Never would of I splurged on such an expensive item. Felt it was my duty to try this out. Laughing Rolling Eyes

I've been using the Lucia/Ardell combo for one week now and nothing. Eyebrows or lashes. Is it too soon to tell?

I was using the Dreamlash a couple months ago and had good results. then I added the Ardell alone and nothing. I added the Lucia and stopped Dreamlash and nothing.

I'm hoping that this isn't all my DNA will allow.

How long did it typically take before anyone saw results from the Lucia?

Yes its way too soon to tell, I think from other threads yours lashes are on a 28 day cycle. I do think some people see quick results and for others it may take even a few months. Hang in there both those products definately work.

Hi. I think this question may have already been answered, but somehow I lost the post and just don't want to go searching again.
I would like to purchase the Lucia, Ardell, and the 1000 hr. lash tint.

Where can I get these products? I'm ready to order now if someone can direct me.

Thanks!!!

Alright, it’s confession time:

By virtue of the EDS vouchers I won back on my birthday and the other that “Santa” awarded me, I had a nearly $150 bucks to “play” with so – after off-line discussions with Winnie about it – I decided to order a tube of the JM Age Intervention lash stuff. Embarassed Mostly my fascination with it stemmed from the fact that they didn’t disclose on the ingredient list what made the stuff so special and worth that much money. I was determined to find out what was in it so I could incorporate the magic ingredient in to my “Dr. Holland’s Lush Lash” serum, or – barring that – illustrate that the JM lash stuff was all a con and nowhere near worth that much money!

I decided I would put it to a head-to-head test with my homemade lash serum, whereby I would apply the JM lash stuff to my lashes on my left eye and continue using my serum on my right-side lashes. Maybe this doesn’t qualify as a scientific or unbiased study, I figured it was close enough.

I began using the JM lash stuff on Valentines Day, so while it hasn’t been quite a month, I can already report some of my early findings....

The good news, or bad news, depending upon your viewpoint, is that the JM Age Intervention Lash *does* seem to work so it wasn’t a complete waste of money. The bad news is that my lashes treated with the JM serum aren’t any longer or thicker than the ones treated by my homemade “bargain” serum – the lashes on both eyes are so closely identical in terms of length and density that you can’t tell any difference by looking at my lashes with the naked eye, so to speak.

Now I realize that this sounds suspiciously like I am saying that my homemade lash serum is better than the JM serum, but I am only telling you what my experience has been thus far. Perhaps as I near the 30 day mark in my use of the JM lash stuff, my results will dramatically swing in favor of the pricey serum – in which case I will honestly report this finding to you here in this thread – but at the moment I am forced to conclude that whatever the secret element is in the JM lash product that justifies the nearly $150 pricetag, I think I might already be including that ingredient in my homemade lash serum.

Whether you want to spend the money and order the JM or want to wait until I’ve got my serum ready for mass distribution is entirely up to you....But at the moment I can honestly say that if I hadn’t been in the position to obtain the JM Age Intervention Lash for free, I wouldn’t spend $150 to buy it and – unless something drastic happens in the next several days as I reach the 30-day milestone – I most definitely will not be repurchasing it.

But Carekate ...

What is the secret ingredient(s) in the JM stuff that warrant [in their opinion] the $150 price tag?

Those of us who can't run to spending $150 on a lash serum ... and are anxiously awaiting Dr. Holland's version ... want to know! Laughing I mean, for $150, in my humble opinion, it should be either studded with diamonds or be made of gold! Laughing

So ... what's in it? Eh?

Mary

But to be able to answer that, won't I have to confess the secret ingredients in my own lash serum?!
