I bought it last weekend. I've skimmed through it and have not been very impressed. Save your money and get it at the library.
I think for those of us who have access to the internet, we know as much and more than she put in the book. I also found a number of errors. It's worth a look-see but nothing to get excited about. |

I skimmed through this book as well and I am curious as to the errors you are talking about. I love questioning the establishment.

This is one I remember. She states, "Avobenzone is one superior UVA sunscreen" (it's actually an ingredient and I believe it has been shown to not be photostable.) The chapter where she mentions it is for sensatives. I think most sensatives also have trouble with Avobenzone. I know I can't use it.
I've still only skimmed the book, but that jumped out at me. If I didn't know better, I'd be forever looking for a s/s named Avobenzone. |
