I'm obsessed with moisturizing conditioning hair products.. I try so many and one definitely stands out above the rest. It's so underrated, I can't even find any reviews for it anywhere! It's called Aqualle Aqualust Marine Therapy System Lusterizer and you can get it from Sally Beauty Supply for like five bucks. It's a light creme that does so much more than shine, it transforms your hair into silk! I prefer to use it on dry hair, and even carry around a tube of it in my bag to touch up my ends or calm puffiness. It definitely works better than the Frederic Fekkai Glossing Creme which I used to buy before I discovered this stuff. I've been using the Aqualust for a couple years now and its never failed me. Its similiar to what the Paves serum does, only its not in serum form.. it makes my hair look like virgin hair! LOVE IT! And it's only five bucks.. LUV IT! Here's a link to it at Sally's.

The link has expired but I was able to look it up and here is some more on it for those that don't want to search:
Creme becomes invisible once applied to hair
Provides instant shine
Leaves hair silky smooth while adding moisture and body
Brings out natural highlights and revitalizes color-treated hair
Helps eliminate frizz and improves combing ability
Provides heat protection and contains a highly active UVB absorber that protects from sun damage
Helps minimize negative effects from elements such as chlorine and salt water
Ideal for all hair types
Now I'm going to HAVE to run to Sally's before my big Mexico trip at the end of the week! I like that it protects from the sun too since I just got my hair highlighted yesterday. Thanks PhoebesMeow! |

Hmmm.. I don't know why the link expired since I just went to it, I always have that problem whenever I click to sallys! I guess its best just to go to http://www.sallybeauty.com/ and do a search for "Aquelle Lusterizer"
Tamgirl99 I think you're gonna love it! I can't find any reviews for it on MakeupAlley or anywhere.. But I want everyone to buy it so they never stop making it! Btw, I tried a few other products in the line, like the conditioner (Aquelle Hydraloc Marine Therapy System) and I find it very similiar to my Rusk Deep Shine Conditioner. Infact I think the whole Aquelle Line may be modeled after the Rusk Deep Shine line.... Oh yeah, sure enough, I just googled it and Rusk makes Rusk Deep Shine PhytoMarine Lusterizer which looks identical to the Aquelle. I've never tried the Rusk Lusterizer though, don't think I will since I'm so satisfied with this one. Makeupalley has reviews on the Rusk one, pretty good reviews too. However, the Aquelle stuff smells wonderful! |
