I've only tried one brand - Dr Hauschka's toned day cream. I have really fair skin too, and when I first used it it was way too dark. I ended up "diluting" it with non-tinted moisturizer and that did the trick. Probably most tinted mositurizers will be too harsh on fair skin if they're not mixed with regular moisturizer. |

The one by Stila might work for you. I have pale skin and used a sample of their lightest shade and it is actually pretty light. I never bought the full size because I actually prefer not to wear tinted moisturizer. |

I can't believe I'm posting a reply as I don't use tinted moisturizers but I always hear of a few over and over that people love, Laura Mercier's, Tarte Smooth Operator and CoverGirl Smoothers. |

I love, love, love Dermalogica Sheer Tint Moisture SPF15. It has a beautiful finish ... slightly shimmery, yet not over the top and is moisturizing without being too greasy/shiny on your skin. I would definitely repurchase this one. |

I really like Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Enhancer, which has a bit of retinol and SPF. It is creamy, sheer and looks quite natural. The colors are darker in the packaging than they are on the skin.
I also am loving Maybelline's Pure Makeup. It comes in a cute squeeze tube and offers very sheer, rather matte finish that is ideal for more oily skin. The color range is also pretty good.
I have also tried Dr. Haushka's Toned Day Cream and found it too dark, especially when I tried to "press" it onto my face as the packaging suggested. It was also too heavy and moisturizing for my combination skin. I think the Translucent Bronze Concentrate mixed with sunscreen or moisturizer works better.
Wet'n'Wild actually has a nice tinted moisturizer that offers more coverage (it's more like a light foundation) than the above three. It has a matte/satin finish. The only problem is that the color range is quite limited. |
