A friend pointed me to the EDS website about a week and a half ago and I'm now addicted to reading these forums and searching the EDS site for things to try. I purchased the DrH kit for oily skin last week and have been using it for a few days now. I love the cc (and already have my ingredients ready to make the homemade version when I use up the tube). The toner and the normalising day oil are very nice as well.
Sorry to ramble on My question is about the day oil- if you have oily skin do you use anything else on top of the oil? And at night- after you do the cc do you put anything on?
I'm excited to try a lot of the recipes that have been posted here. I may go do an aspirin mask now
thanks to EDS for sending my package so quick, and for the lovely samples inside too!

I too love Dr Hauschka and have the whole set.
This is what I use:
Morning: Cleansing Cream, Toner, Normalising Day Oil
Evening: Cleansing Cream, Toner and sometimes I use the Rejuvenating Face Mask as an overnight treatment.
If my skin feels too tight in the evening after toning then I may sometimes apply a few drops of oil.
I have never needed to use anything over the top of the day oil, my skin has gone from oil slick to vertually normal. I just have to wait a few minutes before applying make-up for the oil to sink in.
Also the translucent bronze concentrate works so well with the oil.
In the evening I always use toner after cleansing as I do feel that it conditions the skin.
Whilst I still use Dr Haushka products I have found that plain Witch Hazel is just as effective a toner as the Dr H ones and costs a lot less.
Jojoba Oil works as well as the Normalising Day Oil
I also love the homemade version of the Dr H Cleansing Cream.
My skin actually prefers the homemade Cleansing Cream and witch hazel and jojoba oil which is good as Iit saves me money I just love the Dr Huaschka scent. |

Has anyone used the Rose Day cream? If so how did you like it?
I recently bought the cleansing milk and the cleansing cream. So far I like them both. I don't know how the cleansing cream is considered a cream though. To me it seems more like an exfoliant even though you don't scrub with it instead you press it on the face. |

My MIL loves the Rose Day Cream, she was intially using the Moisturising Day Cream bu=t found it was not enought for her dry, sensitive skin and switched to the Rose Cream. I think she is on her 6th tube already!! |

I don't have dry skin (combo skin) but sometimes it can be sensitive. Is Rose cream appropriate for this? I don't want breakouts. |

Anna_in_Sweden I tried a sample of the Rose cream about a year ago. At the time my skin was really inflamed and dehydrated. I used it day and night for about a week until the sample ran out. It really helped and my very sensitive skin loved it. I have oily/dehydrated, acne prone skin and it did not cause any breakouts for me. I know that Dr. H purists might object to using this as a night cream but it really helped me at a time when my skin was going through a bad spell. Depending on your skin it might be too greasy for day use but I didn't notice a problem with this.
You know I had so many samples at the time I tried this that I had forgotten how much I liked it. I should look into getting some myself... |

joziegrozy I bought my Jojoba Oil from Neal's Yard but it should be widely available over the internet, if you do a search on google then I am sure you will get tons of hits
As well as Jojoba Oil I also like Grapeseed Oil and have even tried Groundnut Oil, both of which I found for next to nothing in the Supermarket cooking oil section!!
There is no scent to the oils so I sometimes fill one of my empty Dr Hauschka vials (from the tester kit) with any of the above Oils and add a few drops of essential oil, my favourite is Lemon and a few drops of Tea Tree, this really wakes my skin up first thing in the morning [/quote] |

The normalizing day oil is meant to be used alone, with nothing over it. I use it on a daily basis for a few years now, it's great. |

I was watching The View and Jennifer Anniston was on there. They asked her what she uses for skincare. She said she washes with Neutrogena face wash(drugstore product!!) and Dr. Hauschka day cream. |

If DR. H products for oily skin are too strong for the skin? |

I use the rose day cream and find it wonderfully moisturizing, especially in the winter. I tried the day oil, thinking I had oily skin, but my face never really adjusted to it, so I switched to the rose day cream and have been very happy with it. |

I have recently started using a few Dr. H items but one thing I can't get over with this line is not using a night cream, it just seems wrong when you have dry skin like I do. Does anyone out there use a night cream while using Dr. H? |
