These facials are being done in spas and plastic surgery offices to refine pores and tighten/firm the skin. The ultrasonic vibrations are suppose reach down into the dermis to stimulate collagen production. Has anyone had this done? The concept does seem plausible to me.
There are handheld units also being sold for this purpose. The price range I have seen is 100.00 - 300.00 which isn't too too bad if it works. (if!) I am really interested in purchasing one and would appreciate any thoughts/recommendations on the subject. |

I bought one about 2 or 3 years ago and forget about it until few months ago. I had problem moving it around on my face. I did put rich moisturizer but it always got stucked. I'm planning to do a facial and see how professonal does it. |

I read on another board that you have to be careful with the at home ultrasound machines, if used improperly can cause some facial volume loss. (which we lose when we age, and causes most of us to look older). |
