Hi there, after observing through the forum for long long time, I become more interested in the OCM + DHCC method and hope that it will clear up my forest of clogged pores on my forehead. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible for me to find those ingredients in my country(I cannot purchase via the internet cuz I don't have credit card !! ). The best solution I come up is using boost's base oil from its botanics line( which can be used for bathing and massage), it only says "contains grape seed oil, peach kernel oil, jojoba oil, wheat germ oil, tocopheryl acetate".Phew, after beating around the bush, now I get to the point! Can I put this thing on my face? The label only says that it is a fragrance-free blend but doesn't state the concentration of each oil. And does any of these oils can clog my pores? Any suggestion |

Hi Chrissie,
You can't find Olive Oil in your country? How odd. What does your country use for cooking oil?
Now the Castor Oil might be a bit difficult to find I suppose ... but I know that it's carried in most drug stores in North America ... in the aisle that has laxatives.
The concept behind OCM lies in its simplicity ... so I'd use whatever cooking oils you might have in your country ... although the Boost oil sounds OK. The problem is that if your skin reacts badly, you won't be able to pinpoint which of the mixed oils is the culprit.
Tell us more about where you live and perhaps there will be more suggestions.

Thanx for all your replies .Can't help laughing because I didn't realise how funny my questions sound( I guess you guys picture me as a girl living on a desert island )Well, I live in Thailand, which has extremely hot climate ( we don't need to consume much fat )and that's why we don't worry much about types of cooking oil.(BTW, we mostly use soy bean oil)And ofcourse, scared of overloading my skin, the idea of putting oily stuff on my face is still a big no-no for me. Olive oil sounds nice, if this thing doesn't work, then I can just make pesto, pasta sauces for my whole family ( mm, yummy ).:lol |
