I'm just super stressed out this last month, last week I had school final exams so I was working my a** around the clock for that then the next week my best friend died and now my acne has exploded not to just my face but my back and scalp, my hair also went orange from a hair dye I tried. I just need 3 weeks away from everyone and everything. Somewhere on the other side of the world, cheap, mabey thailand. Anyone have any suggestions? |

OHmyGod.. you poor thing... girl I hear you, when I was 18 my best friend died... I moved to Tokyo to work and got away from it all! Wow you have had it rough! Please take care of yourself... wow I don't even know what to say thats just rough AND tough. By the way, I went to Bali after Tokyo, it was cheap and across the world... loved Bali.
By the way, all my problems where still waiting for me when I decided to stop running around the world... I do recommend it for some time though.. puts things into perspective. |

I've never been to Bali, but my husband says it's great. But, I dunno, if you're stressed out and your skin is acting out, a 20 hour flight is only going to make things worse. (My skin goes to heck when I travel internationally...) What about somewhere closer, like Bermuda? |

I'd say Thailand is a good choice if you don't mind the long haul flight. Bangkok is only less than 3-hour flight from where I live and I know some people actually fly there to spend a weekend when they feel stressed. I love doing spa there. It's sooooooooo relaxing and pampering. Maybe that'd help ease your mind after what you've gone through. Whenever I feel stressed and want to take a break, I'd think of going to BKK immediately coz it's so affordable for a holiday.
Please take care and hope you'll recover in no time at all! |

Oh geez, I just remembered.. if my memory doesn't fail me isn't daniel7654 16 or 17 years old? I mean we can't be telling someone underage to go across the world... I just remembered this from an old post that was deleted because she's underage... I could be wrong?? |

Thank you everyone for the sympathies (love you guys). I got away for the long weekend to Banff hotsprings, it was nice just sitting around being pampered, just what I needed. Mabey I will goto Thiland or Bali sometime down the road, great idea! |

I second Thailand. It's great for indulging yourself at their spas. Great massages for super cheap! |
