Actually it's more my upper chest but I didn't want to write that in the title (bumps on chest - lol). Anyway, I seem to have a bunch of little pimple-like bumps on my clevage and above which seem to have appeared overnight. I don't really use any cream there and wondered what I could use to clear it up? Should I use a mask there or something like that? Or perhaps a exfoliating wash? Just don't want to make it worse.

I know exactly what you mean. I attributed mine to my sunscreen as that was the only "new" product I used there. I must have tried a dozen brands but they all left me with the same little pimple like bumps. I stopped using the sunscreen and a few times a week use either mandelic acid or a mild SA (exfol)followed by a moisturizer.
It seems you kind of get your face under control and then the problems just move elsewhere!

I get these sometimes too. I use an gentle exfoliator and sometimes a moisturiser with added gylcolic acid and that seems to get rid of them for me. |

Thanks guys.
I actually have the MD formulations range at the moment which has glycolic in it so I might go ahead and try it on that area as well. I used a scrub on it last night and a loofah sponge and it is a bit better today so maybe it has something to do with my current diet which has been shocking the last week or so. I have been pigging out on chocolate and my mother always told me that when I had too much as a child I came out in a tiny rash. Perhaps I have been pushing the envelope a bit.

Try the MDF products on it - that should do the trick. I have the same problem at the moment. I've been travelling for a few weeks and have not been exfoliating as often as usual (and have been consuming much more alcohol/crap food than usual ) so I'm pretty sure that's where mine have come from. |

I get them too, and you sometimes can not see mine except in certain light, but you can feel them. I started using my facial cleanser on it as I am cleaning my face. (the left over in my hands) it seems to be doing the trick. Since this is new for me (bumps) I think it is from the summer and I noticed I usually sweat there. this is a new problem for me too. |

I've had this issue in the past (last summer) and it was definitely the sunscreen. That said, I sweat a lot and have found that a mild SA scrub or textured pad does the trick, a couple of times a week. The danger here can be overzealousness--this area is very delicate and can show signs of wear and tear pretty easily.
Good luck! |

on the subject of the same area.... i've been doing everything, although much more gently, to that area and the neck that i do to my face and it's been keeping it clear, relatively bump free. unfortunately, it's also been keeping it red. i use heavy duty SS so i don't think it's a sunburn, but it's been driving me mad. does anyone have this problem? any suggestions? |
