I was wondering if anyone could help me...
My hands at the tender age of 21 are looking their years. After years of playing intense sports, rowing, tennis, soccer and cricket as well as others along the way, a full time job as a barista, working on the coffee machine eight hours a day and studying all the time i have to admit i dont really spend a lot of time caring for them. I have acrylics on so my nails dont look so fugly but the rest f my hands are dry and tired. Ive been using the Crabtree and Evelyn La Surce hand cream hich I love but I thought that there might be something wonderful that you girls know about that I should try. |

I like the Dr. Hauschka hand cream but would like to try the Decleor line as well. A nice drugstore find is Nivea Anti-Age Q10 plus in a yellow tube with 100ml or 3.3oz. |

I bought Bliss Labs Gloveable gloves and cream - they are very good.
I also like Creatives Solar Oil.
Orly Cuticle Cream is also very good - not greasy so good for day wear.
handcreams - I love L'Occitane Shea Butter, Aveda, Clinique Water Therapy and the Body Shops intensive Cream (with almond). |

I'd second the L'Occitane Shea Butter hand cream. I get cracked skin on my hands from dermatitis and use this over night with cotton gloves. |

You don't need to spend an arm and a leg for good hand cream. I like Aveeno Daily moisture-- it moisturizes and protects. If you want to splurge a little bit, I love CO Bigelow Lemon Hand Treatment from Bath and Body Works. It smells wonderful and makes my hands look luminous. And I never though hands could be luminous.
Also, the Vaseline Hand and Nail cream in the pink bottle-- great stuff. |

100% Cocoa Butter works great. You can usually find it near the suntan lotion. It's cheap too. |

Candessence, Ahava and Jurlique are in my current handcream rotation. I use a sunblock or the B.Kamins hand cream (which has SPF) during the day. I cannot stress enough the importance of using sunblock on your hands! I have seen so many people here (Australia) with pretty smooth faces but their hands look shocking - dry, leathery and covered in sun spots! It just shows your age straight away so *please* use sunblock... |

Torsz, I too have dry hands. I'm a nurse and between the hand washing, the gloves and of course constantly using them, my hands usually look terrible. I'm currently using Glycosmed, after a recc here on EDS, I do like it. Cuticles need lots of moisture-shea butter, olive oil, emu oil, almond oil all help. But the trick with hand care is you have to constantly use the products, you have to make applying it a habit. Also use a good sunscreen. |

I don't believe in moisturizer, try to use Retin A, vitamin C, basically the same stuff you would use on your face. |

If there is one item I just cannot live without (besides my concealer) it is hand cream, my obsession stems from the days I used to do a paper round, I was left with awful chapped weather worn hands......never again!!!
I love Badger Balms, I especially like using the sleep balm at night for my hands.
Dr Hauschka is lovely and I love Burt's Bees Banana creme.
Old Face Creams make good handcreams and I was also using up Dr Hauschka eye balm for my hands .
Yes my hands are very pampered |

I definitely recommend using the Crabtree and Evelyn Gardener's therapy as a set. First use the scrub, then use the hand cream, and your hands will honestly look 10 years younger. |

Oh that stuff is awesome! I had completely forgotten about it. I've never had something so smooth, light moisturize so well and sink in leaving my hands velvety as oppose to heavy creams where you can feel it after applying it. |
