My lips are already dieing and it hasn't even begun to snow! i have one of those little crevices in my lip that you get when you accidentally over stretch it.. and of course, as always, its impossible to get rid of.
I can't ever seem to find a lip balm worth buying more than once, and i'm desperate for one that actually WORKS! any ideas ladies? |

| hiya ... I have similar problematic lips that always dry and peel. My lips are full, but naturally textured with many tiny crevices that dry easily. My favorite balm so far is the GoSMILE smileceuticals lipbalm ... it does an awesome job at repairing and protecting my lips ... so that would definitely be one to try if you get a chance. |

| Ugh, I feel your pain! My advice is to avoid the petroleum-based lip balms which don't actually add any moisture and go for a true lip conditioner. My all-time fave is prolly Ganache for Lips. It's sinfully cheap (like 3 or 4 bucks?), and it's ultra-moisturizing--- in the winter I make sure I have one in every coat and purse I own! If you're willing to spend a little more, Duwop's Buttercream lip balm and Juice Beauty's Lip Plumper are also really nice lip treatments that will leave your lips moisturized and supple. HTH! |

I'm a fan of the Jurlique lip balm and also love the Prada tinted.
I would use the Jurlique for healing at night but use something thicker like the Prada during the day for protection and color. I don't think the Jurlique would stand up to a very cold, windy winter day.
I'm also liking the Eve Lom kiss mix very much, but I just got it a week ago so it hasn't had the real 'road test' yet. It has menthol so it feels nice and healing, but it's also fairly thick for protection (not sticky though). So far it doesn't make my lips peel either, which a lot of balms do. |
