I want to get microdermabrasion done. I live in Vancouver BC and want to find a good spa with reasonable prices |

BC girl, you must be reading my mind.
My sister is willing to be guinea pig number 1 to try this as she can put rocket fuel on her face and nothing happens to her.
I am looking to try it for open pores and generally smoothing/ brightening and I have been lurking on Harley medical site in London dithering on booking a consultation. I cannot try Gentle Waves here or the Quasar.
Sorry I am being zero helpful to you but can you keep us posted on if you do try it? I would love to know what you thought and your experience.
Apparently you must insist that the person is trained and you MUST wear goggles to avoid micro particles ending up in your cornea etc. |

Actually, Blacklace, most places offer diamond microdermabrasion these days. Much better - no errant crystals to worry about ! |

ooohhh katee I will ask about that at Harley Medical. Most of the UK sites talk about the goggles. I was kinda looking forward to wearing them (NOT!)
Maybe the Brits are not as advanced as the Americans on the technique (??) but I am researching as much as I can before I bravely let my sister do it first! heeheehee I kill me. BC girl keep us posted. I want to try this before Christmas but too chicken at the moment to book the appointment. |
