Well, I went with Babor. Thank you all for your opinions and helping me choose a line.
Now for another question to you Babor users...what is your favorite Babor products, skin type, and why?
THANKS AGAIN!! |

I really like the Babor Essential Eyes cream. I've got normal to combo skin and my eye area isn't particularly dry. This feels light yet moisturising and it sinks right in. I also really like the Babor 2-step cleansing oils |

Somebody calling me?
I'm so glad you chose Babor. it's a wonderful line.
My absolute favourite so far is the 2-step cleansing oil! fab. for people with difficult combo. skin types. I'm normal/combo, but rather dry in the winter.
Love the HSR eye cream too. It's a bit pricy, but I'm considering to buy a full size anyway. At EDS it's a 101CAD for 30 ml... that twice the size of the sensational eye cream, so the price difference isn't that big.....
Also love the Pure-line (not on EDS so far). Nice deep-cleansing mask. Not drying at all.
Like the hydra-flavon cream, light and moisturising. I've also tried the Babor combination24h. nice, but contains silicones and not really moisturising enough for my skin type.
Otherwise I'm trying to decide wether to buy some moisturising fluid ampules or the 30ml bottle of balance concentrate...
so many products...so hard to choose.. |

Thanks guys!
I am in a dryer climate and loving the HSR line. I also like the advance biogen repair. I have so much experimenting to do now!

Naturallyhappy, do you have the babors balance concentrate (dry skine line)? I would really like to know the ingredients. Especially if it contains silicones? I just asked lovely Kate on the EDS chat, but unfortunatley she could not help me. |

Aurora,
The main active ingredients in BALANCE concentrate are:
Panthenol
NMF's and NCF's (they have a great ability to bind and hold moisture for hours!)
Ginkgo biloba
Hope that helps! |

Just received the babor concentrate in the mail today. Luckily it doesn't contain any silicones, which was my worry. But it does contain urea.... Well, maybe that's a normal ingredient in skincare products??
Anyway, I'll write a review later, but so far it feels very nice! |

I have been a dedicated Babor user for 7 years now, and I wouldn't change it for the world!
I think that Hz oil and phztoactive is the best cleansing combination for any skin! It even removes my waterproof mascara!
If you can use up my expirience, go for it! Ask out! |

I've only tried a few products from Babor and I think it's a great line....very underrated unfortunately. I LOVE the Hy Ol and Phytoactive Senstive. It's the only cleansing oil that never dries out my skin. Babor Sensational Eyes Eye Cream is also great. These 2 products are my staples. |

If you're looking for a moisturizing eye cream that's still light in texture, you'll like Babor Sensational Eyes Eye Cream. It doesn't get rid of wrinkles, puffiness or dark circles though. |

Hmmmmm..... I would like an eye cream that was really moisturizing, but Im sure it will be ok. Ill have to try it and see. I dont really have too much of a problem with wrinkles, (I'm 23) but does it help prevent them in any way? Also andaman_gypsy, is there a moisturizing eye cream that you would suggest that does help with keeping wrinkles at bay and maybe help with some puffiness too? My eyes usually arent too bad, just in the mornings. |

I love Babor products. I have sensitive skin and the Calming sensitve Day and Night Cream work for me. The creams are a bit rich in the summer. The Rose Toner is wonderful as is the mild cleansing cream. My skin was falling apart before I tried Babor. I do try other products and I end up back with Babor. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the sensational eye cream. My eyes were red and puffy, sort of like an allergy. I'm going to try the Juara Sweet Black Tea eye cream. |

Sensational Eyes gel is much better for younger skin, puffy eyes and dark circles. The cream is for wrinkles, gel is detox and hydration. If you want more hydration yet, try Sensational Eyes fluid underneath.
About Calming sensitive: day cream is oil in water emulsion, so it can be deluted with water to adjust the texture, which can be done with most of Babor creams, exept Calmin Sensitive and Vita Balance night creams, which are water in oil emulsions. If that's still to rich for you, try Calming Sensitive bi phase moisturiser, which can substitute day or night cream or both, and it's not heavy at all.
Hope this helps! |

Thanks Silly. It helps a lot. I will try watering down the day cream. I have heard good things about the Bi Phase moisturiser. Will give it a try in my next EDS order. My eyes aren't so young so I'll try some other eye creams. |

Interesting. Im going to try the Sensational Eyes Eye Cream when it arrives, and if I think I need some more hydration Ill order the Sensational Eyes Eye Fluid. The gel sounds good too. Another thing to add to my huge list!! |

UREA is very normal ingredient for keeping skin hydration |

My aesthetician has been telling me for months that my skin is dry. I get so tired of buying/trying different products. I had not tried a Babor product during this time that she's been commenting. Today, she wrapped up my facial with a cream that felt wonderful when she put it on. It was the Babor Complex C cream. She said that many of her clients love it when she uses it with them (sometimes I think this is such the line!) I hope I like it with longterm use. I am partial to my Avene Retrinal (which may be the reason for the dryness, who knows?), so I will probably start off alternating nights between Retrinal and this new (to me) product. |

My mother used to use Babor. She loved the HSR line and the SeaCreations cream. I think she found the line very hydrating and nurturing. I bought her the Specific Mask (which I think is the pro range) along with the ampoules which you mix together and she loved it. I think the line is more suitable for dry, mature skin types. |
