I just wonder how long everyone's lashes are. I just measured mine, and they're about 5-6 mm max. I just got my RevitaLash and wonder what is the potential now for my lashes? Anyone wants to guess? Smile

Not that I have measured mine, but I get told all the time, 'god you have long lashes' my only problem is that they are not as thick as I would love them to be.

pal, please measure them! Smile I just used my measurement tape, and put it right up on the base of my lashes. It was really awkward, and I had to use a bathroom mirror to help me. But it's not so bad.

I think mine are about 4-5mm? I wear glasses though, so I don't want them much longer! (when I tried mascara before my eyelashes did nothing but hit my eyeglasses)

wait until one falls out - then measure that fallen lash. Smile

You can pull it straight by sticking it to a piece of clear scotch tape.

It's a very funny idea Laughing but I've nearly poked both my eyes out trying to flatten them and get the measure this morning. Besides, in the end it reminds me of something teenage boys tend to do Shock

10mm. But, a lot sparser (is this a word?) than I'd like.

Ari, are you using JM or Revitalash? If not, are you using anything to promote lash growth?
Thanks Very Happy

I was using Skinactives' Hair growth serum for my fine, thin hair. I also used in on my brows and lashes for the "sparseness". It grew some new hair but my lashes have always been long. Genetics, I guess, since my 2 brothers have loooooong, thick, thick, thick lashes. Nasty little creatures brothers. They seem to get the best of the gene pool when it comes to looks. At least I got the brains. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Last night I was washing my face, and when I turned off the water, I noticed a lash strand left on the sink. I measured it and it was 8 mm. I was so excited until I remembered that my older sis is visiting and she was using my bathroom. So it was probably HER lash. LOL Ok, when is my ReviaLash going to start working? It's been 2 full days already. haha

9 mm (at longest point) and starting to fall out and thin. When my lashes were falling out like crazy the only change in my routine/diet was the fact that I started drinking a ton of Fresca? This was the first and only soda I ever started drinking on a regular basis...I have no idea if it is logical to blame my new eyelash problem on a soda but it's all I got for now Smile

It's possible. Diet is more important that we're often told. But, I'd also look to my skin care routine for possible answers. You're really far too young for them to fall out suddenly like that. JMHO

Thanks Arielle. I use an uber gentle cleanser and have used it for over three years and at the time I think the only thing I was puting around my eyes was Lipid Recovery Serum (Isododecane, Phenyl Trimethicone, Isotearyl Palmitate, Peroxidized Corn Oil, Tocopheryl Linoleate (vit e), Soybean Extract and Sphingolipids). Only reason I didn't consider my skin care routine was because both products are made by the same people and were developed to be extremely gentle. I have also have been using the same mascara(Full & Soft) for over 6 years. However, I know something being gentle doesn't make it fail safe. I'm also prone to develop new allergies at any given moment. But my instinct wants to blame it on diet. Oh, and I had stopped taking my multi vitamins at the time. Now I rarely drink Fesca and started taking a good multi...lahses are not falling out in clumps but they don't seem to be recovering very well either. Plan on buying a biotin supplement and Ardell Brow and Lash Accelerator (can't afford the fancy lash serums quite yet Smile ).

ah-hah. Give the multi time to work. It's going to take awhile. I start to see various issues with skin and hair and nails if I forget to take my supplements for even a little while. L-Arginine & Biotin make a HUGE difference in my hair growth and vitality. But, then I take mega doses 'cause I'm an "old broad". Laughing

I don't know anything about the lash accelerator you mentioned, but it probably will help.

5 - 8 mm on the upper side before using Ecrinal eyelash gel, now after 3 weeks of usage,I measured some that dropped off and they are about 10 mm. Any growth in length is not noticeable when the hairs are still on my eye though Sad

My lashes are fairly thick, (but I have sparse hair, go figure Rolling Eyes ) but I would like to grow them longer.

Wow, sweettreat, 1 cm to 1.5 cm is incredibly long. I am jealous! Smile I would be happy to get to 1 cm. Do your lashes curl up? I saw some of the pictures of the girl using JM and their lashes curl way up. I don't think I want mine that curled up. Maybe you have to use the curler to get that effect? If so, I just won't curl them all the way like that. Oh I am using RevitaLash with no results to report yet. It's been only 3 days I think since I started it. I was not really on any super growth serum before that. My lashes were super short and super sparse after I tried the lash extension, which was too expensive, irritating (due to the glue), and horrible-looking after 2 weeks. So I bought this ginseng serum that was like Talika from an ebay seller. It helped make my lashes fuller and maybe 1-2 mm longer. (Don't laugh but I was happy that I finally got some lashes even if not too long.) So now my 5 mm lashes are still not long but that's why I said they were better than when they were 3 mm. LOL

I just tried to measure mine but they are curled up at the moment so it's a bit tricky Razz . But it looks like they're around 12mm or so. Quite a few people have told me I have long lashes, even though I honestly think my lashes are getting thinner & shorter lately!Sad I have never used JM or Revitalash, or not yet anyway. Wink
