I have horrible frizzy hair, especially around the face.. my hair is very fine, but there is a lot of it.
Has anyone here had success with a shampoo/conditioner that smooths the hair nicely? I do have product to use if I am drying my hair, but I really want a good shampoo/conditioner (I hate applying product to my hair for styling)
I could also do with a rec. on a good scalp cleansing shampoo!
Thanks! |

I understand what you mean when you say "halo hair". I have thick curly hair. A couple of years ago my hair started getting really dry and breaking, leaving me with a halo of short curly hairs on the top of my head. I've tried numerous products from carrot oil cream to emu oil shampoos and conditioners. To date, what I've found that works best is AG extra moist shampoo, AG tech2 shampoo, AG light conditioner. After the shower, I put a mixture of AG fast food and Ouidad shine on my hair. For AG hair products, the website Naturallycurly2.com carries most of the AG hair products which I've listed. Unfortunately, they don't carry AG light contitioner which is the best conditioner ever. I've asked them to look into carrying this. In the meantime, I order all the AG products from Gabriela at Dolce Salon in Portland, Oregon (503) 226-7802. |

I do, though it's getting much better. Mine "happened" after a home hair coloring job - my hair got really dry and it was breaking off in places. Some ladies on here recommended Kerastase and I bought the Ciment Anti Wear treatment/conditioner (though I think it's just been renamed). It's a bit of a pain to use because you have to towel dry your hair, put some on, wait a few minutes, lather, and then rinse it out. But I can actually see a visible decrease in those annoying little hairs that stick out all over the place
I'm really looking forward to trying some more products from that range.

I will be home in Australia next week so think I will have to pick some of that up! I wear my hair pulled back every day, so I am sure that is why my hair breaks a lot. Does it strenghten too? |
