I would say that it is too rich for your skin as this happens to me especailly with night creams and I used to put too much on. |

Hi zizi - I think when members use the term "balls up", they're generally referring to the product itself balling up. The exception would be when discussing the use of exfoliative products that cause the outermost layer of skin to ball up.
In my experience, balling up of product can be caused for three reasons. Either the formulation itself is less than elegant, or the interaction of two somewhat incompatible layers of products can cause balling up, or [less often in my experience] too much product has been applied. |

This has happened to me in the past when I have used a SS and then a foundation - they just weren't compatable (the brands I was using). |

IME, I attribute the balling up to the product, since I rarely have this happen with other products I use. The one time this happened to me, it was the MD Formulations SPF 30 s/s for face. I thought that maybe I used too much of it, but I apply other facial s/s products pretty heavily and don't have this happen. |
