This is a review of the Weleda Larch Resin comp. Lotion. It is amazing!! I have only used it once, but the effect is instant. The box describes it as an Anthrosophic medicine for the relief of tired or strained eyes. It is recommended for use after driving or studying. The way to use it is to shake the bottle and apply a small amount to a cotton pad and apply it around the eyes, on the lids and temples as required. I instantly felt a refreshing, almost numbing sensation and quickly noticed an improvement in the appearance of my eye area. The skin looked firmer and less puffy. There is not a lot of information on the box and I really don't know how it works. I bought it in a health shop which carries Weleda where they merchandised it next to the flower remedies. I am really impressed and much prefer this to using eye drops (this product should not be applied into the eye). Great after a long slog in front of the computer and much more effective against puffiness than any other eye treatment I have ever tried. |

Thanks for the review Smoothskin! I'll have to check it out. I could use something other than prep-H! |

I've added it to my wishlist. I like the Weleda products I've tried so far. Hopefully, this will work well for me too.
Thanks for the rec, Smoothskin. |

I used it again today and wonder if I can use it every day (I would like to) or if it is more of a rescue remedy... |

Why don't you post a topic with more details of what you need? You would probably get more info then on this thread. This product is really different from any other eye treatment. I would help if I could, but I am using Juvena Juvedical eye cream which has not made any difference to my eye area. In fact, thinking back; the best eye cream I have used would probably be Kanebo Sensai. |

Smoothskin are you referring to the Kanebo Sensai Eye Cream or the Balm. I sampled the Balm over the summer and just bought the full size and got a sample of the Cream. The Balm is very nice but the Cream is supposed to be even more moisturizing. They also just started selling the Sensai Premier Eye Cream but I don't have a sample of that one and for how much it costs I am not sure I want one! |

from what I can tell, this specific product is only sold in the UK? I did just a quick websearch...maybe I'm wrong? I hope so! |

Smoothskin,
Do you like the Weleda over Kanebo Sensai Eye cream or are they for different causes? Thanks! |

This thread is a bit all over the place now, sorry if I confused anyone. To clarify: The Weleda lotion I have reviewed is not an eye cream. It is a treatment lotion for tired or strained eyes and it can not be used in place of an eye cream; think of it more as the equivalent to eye drops. Then Gracedby posted a question about eye cream and I suggested she would get better responses under a new topic, but also answered her question by saying I liked the Kanebo Sensai Eye Cream. I think we are back on track then I have no idea if the Weleda lotion is available outside the UK, I just stumbled across it in a health shop here. |

I could not find any place in America (from my search- I did not search every corner) that sells Weleda. Overall Weleda products are very good? I just orderd the Larch Resin Lotion from World Wide Shopping. Thanks smoothskin for clearing things up! |

I have dark cirles too and nothing seems to help. Good luck with the microcirculation and let us know how you get on with it. It seems like quite a few forum members are impressed. The Weleda lotion really helped my puffiness and made the whole eye area look and feel relaxed. The sales assistant explained that it contains ingredients that will help the muscles around the eyes relax and that is exactly how it feels. |

other than depuffing, it also moisturizes the area around my eyes..so this is one of my favourite skincare products now =) |

I had a super stressful day today so when I came home to find it in my mailbox, I was excited to try it.
OHMYGOSH this is AWESOME! The wonderful scent of lavendar lasts after application...I love this!
This would be great to use if you have a headache on your temples.
This is going to be something I use alot. It doesn't take much at all, so hopefully it will last me awhile, but between using it after a hard day, or studying, or even before bed to help me sleep...I might use it all up so fast!

Larch Resin comp. Lotion? I have never seen it before but must find some - sounds great for after a long night at the PC or during long-haul flights! |

I am so delighted that this has helped you! It is going to be a permanent fixture in my bathroom line up because it does really help to relieve fatigue. It would probably be great for a headache as well. I wonder if it is ok to use it almost every day... I am addicted to the refreshing feeling it gives after a few hours on the computer. |

I don't think it's new...but I think it might only be in the UK. I had to have it shipped from there, but it wasn't expensive.
http://www.worldwideshoppingmall.co.uk/body-soul/larch-resin-lotion.asp
They ship to Japan for the same price, Air Mail, from what I can tell (1.66 Eng. Pounds for basic shipping, 6.66 Eng. pounds for insured shipping...I did the basic and did just fine!) |

Adding to the great review above, here are the ingredients and notes for usage as written on the bottle:
Constituents: 100ml contains: ethanolic extract from: Ananassa, Fructus 2.5g/Larch Resin 5g/Lavender Oil 1g/Powdered Acacia 5g/Distilled Water 78ml/Ethanol 90% 12ml.
Nominal ethanol content 10% v/v. Store below 25°C.
Directions: ADULTS and CHILDREN: Apply sparingly on a piece of cotton wool around the eyes, on the lids and temples as required, but NOT IN the eyes. Do not use to treat inflamed conditions of the eye. If redness or itching occurs, discontinue use.
It really works! |

So glad this topic was revived! I've been saving this in my "watched topics" list just in case someone comes across it. It's fabulous!
One more reason why I hope that EDS carries Weleda.
Try this...you won't be disappointed! |

It was actually because of your RAVE that I bought it, ParisTroika! That combined with Smoothskin's review pushed me right over the edge, so thank you! |

I am so glad to hear that you like it
It is one of the most strange and wonderful products I have ever discovered. I still have over half left of my bottle so it is also a very economical treat for the eye area. |
