I noticed that recently certain CVS began carrying new products such at La Roche, Lumene, Vichy, Juice Organics, etc... I know that some of these are popular European brands. Are any of you familiar with these brands? Which products are especially good from each brand?

Not only CVS, Walgreens starts to carry European products too, like skincode. Those stores always have sale going on. I think I want to wait till sale time Smile

I like the Lumene line at CVS. I'm fair skinned with dry skin so maybe that's why the Nordic stuff (line is from Finland) works good for me. My favorite item from Lumene is the Energy Cocktail Pampering Drops. My skin drinks this up after a shower. The nice thing too is that I get frequent coupons due to CVS' ExtraCare program.

I also bought some Avene Thermal water spray at CVS upon the recommendations at this Forum.

Lumene has been sold in Sweden for many years. In the end on the 90’s when this brand was released I bought a jar of Lumene cream for mom. She had a big round light brown spot on her left chin for many, many year (maybe since she was in her 20’s). Anyway she started to use their cream and a few months later the spot disappeared. I don't remember the name of the cream but i think it contains some kind of berry

La Roche-I have the tolerine moisturizer and the spray mineral water. I like them both. Better for summer months bc they are rather light...wouldnt repurchase bc its similar to cetephil.

Lumene-Bought a hydrating mask. It breaks me out but does add moisture. I would never sleep in it like it suggests...if you are not acne prone it may be good.

Vichy-I've been checking out the SA cleanser (green one)...havent bought anything yet.

Juice Organics-I've tried all but the green apple peel mask.
Eye Serum-sticky and smells bad. Did not notice any good results. Not hydrating at all.

Tinted Moisturzer-Like it better than the real thing. Great foundation for summer or under MMU.

Cleansing Milk-liked at first...not so much now. Does not remove makeup very well. Great for morning cleanser.

Serum-really liked it. I bought the Juice Beauty blemish serum so I havent repurchased the cvs brand (dont like to use 2 serums) but I remember liking it a lot.

La Roche Posay: their Active C, Hydraphase and Toleriane lines have some of my favorite products.

Lumene: I've heard raves on their foundations and lipsticks.

Vichy and LRP both have high PPD photostable sunscreens worthe checking out.

I know Vichy is a good brand from France.

I've never purchased any Vichy skincare products as I don't like their smell.
